Just as An Yin didn't know what to do, a mournful cry suddenly ca from beside her.

"Xiao Ai, Xiao Ai..."

The next second, she saw a woman quickly move to An Yin's side, directly kneeling down, her hands caressed the little girl's face, turning it gently to the side.

The woman's movents were very skillful.

An Yin noticed that the woman's hands were trembling slightly, her complexion pale. Despite this, she pretended to stay calm.

On closer look, the woman had delicate makeup and an air of elegance in her movents.

The little girl's convulsions lasted for several tens of seconds before stopping.

An Yin quietly stood by, watching the little girl lying motionless on the ground, her whole body limp and lifeless. She covered her mouth with her hand, tears streaming silently down her cheeks, "She, she... she's not moving, the doctor hasn't co yet..."

The next second, An Yin saw the little girl being picked up by the woman beside her.

The woman held the girl as if cradling a priceless treasure, murmuring softly, "Xiao Ai, don't be afraid, mom is here, don't be afraid..."

Her voice seed to have a magical power, able to calm others' hearts.

An Yin leaned closer to the woman, her voice trembling, "Is she going to be okay?" Her voice was tinged with tears, fearful of hearing bad news, she was on the verge of losing control.

Shen Jingrou initially focused all her attention on her daughter. It wasn't until she heard a timid voice in her ear that she turned her head, seeing a girl with tear-streaked cheeks looking at her eagerly.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine."

Shen Jingrou reassured her.

Thinking of how she had anxiously watched over her daughter earlier, Shen Jingrou looked at her warmly, "Thank you for staying with her!"

"No, no need." An Yin heard the woman's words, and her worried heart finally settled.

She was about to inquire about the girl's condition when dical personnel suddenly rushed in through the crowd.

Shen Jingrou was startled for a mont, and An Yin quickly explained, "I feared she might..." At this point, An Yin shivered, still scared, and continued, "So I called the ergency services."

"You're such a good girl!"

This was the first thing Shen Jingrou said to her after handing her daughter over to the dical staff.

After that, Shen Jingrou quickly followed the dical staff, about to leave, and asked for An Yin's phone number.

The originally crowded entrance of the restroom suddenly quieted down with the little girl's departure.

Just then, Su Yifeng arrived in front of her.

"Junior, I just saw the dical staff heading this way. What happened? Why are you crying?" Su Yifeng, towering beside her, looked at her anxiously, his gaze blazing, filled with concern.

An Yin hadn't yet recovered from the fright, nor did she notice the tears on her face. She wiped them, finding her face wet.

Rembering the little girl lying motionless on the ground, her heart felt desolate.

"There was a little girl who suddenly fell ill, I..." An Yin's eyes trembled slightly.

Su Yifeng saw her frightened look and quickly said, "Don't be afraid, the ambulance took her away just now. She'll surely be fine." Not wanting to see her sad, Su Yifeng frowned.

"I hope so." An Yin forgot she had to go to the restroom and turned to leave after pausing for a mont.

Su Yifeng didn't ask further, following her.

When An Yin went to the cashier intending to pay, Su Yifeng hurriedly blocked her path, "I used a coupon earlier and already paid the bill."

"How much was it? I'll transfer it to you." An Yin took out her phone, opening WeChat, ready to transfer the money.

"No need, it wasn't much." Su Yifeng refused without hesitation.

"It's not right. I said I'd treat you." An Yin frowned.

Su Yifeng watched her delicate lips part and close, a hint of reluctance on her fair face, and he couldn't help but feel hesitant.

He didn't want to annoy her!

"After using the coupon, it was fifty..." Su Yifeng fibbed.

In truth, the service fee alone was more than fifty.

"Oh, then I'll transfer it to you." Hearing him, An Yin obediently transferred the money.

The next second, she saw him acknowledge receipt, and her heart felt relieved.

"Let's head back to school." An Yin looked at him, her gaze calm.

Su Yifeng opened his mouth, but never summoned the courage to speak.

In fact, he wanted to ask her to go for a walk, stroll along the shopping street like a couple.

Seeing her slender figure, Su Yifeng sighed heavily and followed her steps, walking with a heavy heart.

He couldn't help but recall the first ti he saw her at the welcoming party. She sat at the very end, and when students passed by entering the auditorium, they all walked past her. He, as the student council president, went to host the party. As he stepped into the auditorium, he saw a slender back sitting upright, her long black hair tied into a ponytail. She wore a white short-sleeved T-shirt, revealing a glimpse of her neck, and just one look, he found it striking.

He slowly approached, and from nearly a ter away, he finally saw her face clearly.

His steps faltered, almost tripping.

Her astonishing beauty was sothing he rembered vividly to this day.

Now, he was finally able to stand by her side. Su Yifeng concealed his joy, fearing his too-intense emotions might alarm her.

Unconsciously, they reached the roadside. An Yin turned around and said to him, "Let's take the bus."

"Okay."

Her suggestion suited him perfectly.

The bus ride was slow, extending the ti they could spend together. How could Su Yifeng disagree?

After returning to school, An Yin said goodbye to Su Yifeng and went straight back to her dormitory.

When she opened the dormitory door, she saw a figure she hadn't seen in a while. An Yin paused for a mont, then slowly walked inside.

"Shi Qing, you're back." An Yin slowly closed the door, looking at the girl reading at the desk. The girl wore a pair of black-rimd glasses that covered most of her face.

Shi Qing turned her head when she heard the voice, glanced at her, and nodded.

She didn't speak and continued to imrse herself in her book.

An Yin had grown accustod to her aloof deanor.

Among their dormmates, Shi Qing was by far the most diligent student, almost to an obsessive level. Not only that, her excellent grades earned her sincere admiration and envy from everyone.

She hadn't been staying in the dormitory recently because she was studying at another university as an exchange student for a while.

An Yin tiptoed to avoid disturbing her.

They'd lived together for more than two years but weren't close. Shi Qing often kept to herself, so gradually, An Yin felt she must enjoy the quiet, and rarely disturbed her. Their relationship usually was just exchanging greetings.
