Listening to Jiang Keke calling "Ah Cheng" every second word, An Yin felt very uncomfortable!

"You can’t just torture yourself over sothing he said!" An Yin, unable to stand it anymore, mumbled.

"Hehe, I’m doing it voluntarily." Jiang Keke, ignoring her friend’s reminder, happily carried a tray of cleaned dishes to find a table.

After years of knowing each other, An Yin understood Jiang Keke’s personality. Once she set her mind on sothing, no one could persuade her otherwise, so she could only let Jiang Keke have her way.

Jiang Keke quickly found a seat, walked over, and An Yin tagged along closely.

After sitting down, An Yin quietly ate her al. Halfway through, she noticed that Jiang Keke hadn’t touched much food on her plate and seed to be chewing sothing. An Yin was puzzled, "What are you eating? Unable to chew it?"

An Yin found Jiang Keke’s eating habits quite strange.

"Food needs to be chewed for a long ti after it’s in your mouth, so you won’t gain weight." Jiang Keke struggled to swallow the food in her mouth before explaining.

An Yin "..."

An Yin felt that Jiang Keke was now completely obsessed with losing weight!

After finishing the food on her plate, An Yin was planning to wait for Jiang Keke, only to hear Jiang Keke say excitedly upon seeing An Yin finish her al, "Since we’re done, let’s go."

With that, Jiang Keke stood up with her unfinished al.

An Yin swallowed back her reminder. Jiang Keke had barely eaten anything, and now she was going to throw it away, which was quite wasteful!

On the way to return the trays, An Yin followed behind Jiang Keke. Ever since she started dating Bao Cheng, Jiang Keke’s dressing style had beco more refined. Every ti she saw Jiang Keke co to class, she never wore the sa outfit twice, and her accessories were always glamorous.

Spending ti with Jiang Keke recently, An Yin often felt an illusion that the Jiang Keke she used to know, who loved food and was carefree, was drifting further away from her. She didn’t share this feeling with her!

An Yin understood that people change, but no matter how Jiang Keke changed, she would always be her good friend!

After leaving the cafeteria, Jiang Keke didn’t hurry back to Bao Cheng’s apartnt but followed behind An Yin to their dormitory.

An Yin unlocked the dormitory door and walked in.

Jiang Keke followed, and after taking a quick glance around, she frowned, showing a hint of disdain on her face, though it was quickly hidden. Her gaze then settled on another bed.

"Yan Lan is back in the dorm?" Jiang Keke said as she reached Yan Lan’s bed and flicked the curtain disapprovingly, "No matter how you decorate it, it won’t change that it’s a dorm. Why bother making the extra effort?" Jiang Keke’s disdain was obvious.

After Jiang Keke finished speaking, she realized that the dorm was unusually quiet and quickly rembered that her friend also lived in the dorm. She laughed awkwardly, "I just can’t stand her making the dorm so gaudy as if adding curtains makes it unique."

An Yin sat at her desk, feeling uncomfortable with what her friend said, and gently replied, "It’s her choice."

Seeing An Yin’s serious face, Jiang Keke forgot her retort, rembering that she had to ask An Yin for help and decided not to press the matter further.

An Yin was gentle and never spoke ill of others behind their backs, and was timid in social interactions!

The setting sun cast a glow on the dormitory floor tiles through the window.

"Yinyin..." Jiang Keke couldn’t hold back her longing and went to An Yin’s side, "Call Ah Cheng’s cousin now."

Having said this, Jiang Keke casually pulled over a chair and sat opposite An Yin, eyes fixed on the latter with evident eagerness.

Upon hearing her friend’s request, An Yin unexpectedly felt a bit of panic.

"Alright!"

"Then call now!" Jiang Keke urged.

Under Jiang Keke’s watchful gaze, An Yin took out her phone, staring at the contact list, her heart pounding until Jiang Keke’s head leaned over, disrupting her thoughts.

"Yinyin, are you scared?" Jiang Keke looked up, staring blankly at An Yin’s trembling fingers holding the phone.

"I... I’m just a bit nervous."

Despite Bao Shaojin having never hard her, and even helping her a few tis, for so reason, every ti she thought of his aloof and indifferent face, her heart would race uncontrollably, a fear originating from deep within her soul!

"He does seem a bit intimidating!" Recalling the first ti seeing Bao Cheng’s cousin, Jiang Keke shivered slightly.

The man naturally exuded an aura of superiority, his king-like presence was imposing.

Undeniably, such a man was also irresistibly attractive to won, not only because of his elegant deanor but also due to the noble aura he exuded, which fascinated most won.

An Yin kept her head down, silent.

She wholeheartedly agreed with Jiang Keke’s words.

An Yin found "Bao Shaojin" in the sea of numbers, pausing on that screen.

Jiang Keke, seeing An Yin’s hesitant expression, simply reached out and tapped on the screen a few tis.

"Beep beep..."

An Yin’s eyes widened, looking in surprise at Jiang Keke.

Jiang Keke, feeling guilty after dialing, got up and walked toward the balcony, retreating while whispering, "You chat, I’ll wait for your good news!"

Jiang Keke hid on the balcony, even closing the door softly after herself.

An Yin found the phone scalding hot.

Counting to five, the other end had yet to be picked up. An Yin exhaled in relief and was about to hang up and report back to Jiang Keke when a deep voice sounded.

"An Yin!"

The other party solemnly called her na, causing An Yin to feel a mont of distraction.

Her na from his mouth seed to possess a bewitching power, making her forget to think, even forgetting what she was going to say next.

She didn’t speak, rely held the phone dumbly to her ear.

Neither spoke, with only the sound of each other’s gentle breathing coming through.

Bao Shaojin wasn’t known for patience and wasn’t one to waste ti on phone calls, yet at this mont, standing by the desk, Assistant Lin noticed him holding the phone without speaking.

The stalemate lasted about a minute, and Assistant Lin stood uncomfortably as though on pins and needles, clutching an urgent docunt. Just by glancing at the first page, one could tell the docunt was important. He intentionally lowered the cover to let Mr. Bao see it, but Mr. Bao only cast a sharp glance over it before directing his cold gaze back at him, causing beads of sweat to roll down Assistant Lin’s forehead. Wisely, he placed the docunt down and quickly exited Mr. Bao’s office, carefully closing the door behind him.

It wasn’t hard to guess who was on the other side of the call! Assistant Lin wiped his forehead in exasperation.
