"Will your friend co over tonight?" Wen i noticed that Shi Qing didn’t want to continue the topic, so she shifted to An Yin.

"I don’t know." Shi Qing answered honestly.

Shi Qing felt a montary daze when she heard Wen i utter the word "friend."

From childhood to adulthood, she had no friends by her side. Whatever she did, it was always on her own. Growing up, seeing other classmates playing together in groups, she didn’t feel envious or long for that kind of life.

However, after the incident with forr boss, Shi Qing’s heart gradually began to change. She was no longer repulsed by talking with An Yin, and for Wen i’s ntion of the word "friend," she suddenly had a bit of hope!

Perhaps, in her heart, she always longed to have soone beside her. It used to be her older sister, but who is that person now?

On the other end of the phone, Wen i could hear the distance in Shi Qing’s voice. She understood that Shi Qing didn’t like talking to others, and without even exchanging pleasantries, they quickly hung up.

Night Charm Bar.

In the office, Wen i sat at the desk, holding her phone with her slender hand, her fingertips painted a bright red as usual, looking dazzling and eye-catching.

She glanced at the glass door, let out a small laugh, then softly said, "If she doesn’t say what’s wrong, there’s nothing I can do."

Wen i was alone in the room, there was no sound from the other side of the door, and she continued, "I was never close to her. Chasing after soone for personal matters does feel inappropriate, besides, why don’t you just co forward openly since you’re so concerned..."

Wen i didn’t continue. There were so things she had to refrain from saying in front of this man.

As far as Wen i knew, Shi Qing was soone special to the man inside!

"She’s been here for almost two years now!"

Just when Wen i thought the other person would remain silent, his deep voice sounded.

Wen i pondered over this sentence and then replied, "I will find a ti to give her a raise."

The man did not express any opinions, which indicated her suggestion was quite acceptable.

At this point, Wen i slowly stood up, walked to the glass door, and traced circles on the clean glass with one hand, her gaze flickering toward the door, exuding charm in her eyes.

"You should leave!"

The man’s voice rang again, and as Wen i heard it, her hand froze midair, with a bittersweet smile on her face, as if his response was exactly what she expected.

Usually carefree, she didn’t obediently listen this ti. Wen i stubbornly stood her ground, staring intently at the door, as if he was standing right in front of her. She said word by word, "Do you expect to spend your life atoning for your sins? Shi Chu wasn’t..."

"Wen i!"

The man’s magnetic voice echoed.

Hearing her na from his mouth again, Wen i montarily lost herself. How long had it been since he last called her na? Even though there was a warning in his tone, her heart still fluttered.

She slowly withdrew her hand from the glass door. So things could be said once, but not twice, and Wen i understood that very well.

Shi Chu was his Achilles’ heel!

"Then I’ll be leaving!" Wen i’s face broke into a renewed smile, as if the person drowning in sorrow earlier wasn’t her at all.

After she finished speaking, there was no response from the other side.

Wen i turned around, her smile gradually solidifying. Sotis she felt envious of Shi Qing, who did nothing yet received his care! This was precisely what she could only yearn for!

Qin Land Club.

In the top suite, An Yin was sitting in the living room on the sofa, her sparkling eyes occasionally glancing towards the entrance.

Beside her stood an auntie who looked kind and gentle, with a perpetual kind smile, giving off a close and approachable feel.

"Don’t worry, Mr. Bao said he would be over soon." The auntie noticed the young girl’s restless deanor and tried to reassure her.

"Alright." An Yin nodded.

Her heart inexplicably started to feel nervous.

Just after Shi Qing left, the auntie appeared in the living room, explaining that she always took care of Mr. Bao’s dostic affairs whenever he visited "Qin Land."

An Yin quietly listened to the auntie’s chatter, learning that Mr. Bao was a neat freak with strict cleanliness standards and had never brought any woman here during his stays at "Qin Land."

At this point, the auntie’s eyes glead as she said, "Mr. Bao has never brought a girl here before, you’re the first one!"

Upon hearing this, An Yin mumbled, "I’m not very familiar with him!"

The auntie heard her words and simply assud that the young girl was being shy.

The conversation gradually grew warr, leading An Yin to ask the auntie to call Bao Shaojin, expressing her desire to see him.

After making the call, the auntie conveyed Bao Shaojin’s ssage.

You can see him, but finish your breakfast first.

Initially, upon hearing Bao Shaojin’s instructions, the auntie also found it hard to believe.

Mr. Bao’s words sounded rather domineering, but upon closer thought, every word contained a sense of care and concern.

An Yin didn’t overthink it. To see Bao Shaojin as soon as possible, she hurried back to her room to freshen up. When she returned, the auntie had already prepared a sumptuous breakfast. Though she had little appetite, she still downed a glass of freshly squeezed soy milk, along with three shrimp dumplings and a small stead bun.

After eating, she returned to the living room to wait.

In the quiet room, the floor-to-ceiling windows were opened by the auntie, letting in strong light so that there was no need to turn on the lights; the space was naturally bright.

An Yin noticed the auntie standing by the sofa and shyly said, "Auntie, why don’t you co and sit too?"

"Haha, I’m used to standing." The auntie politely declined. As a servant, how could she sit at the sa level as her employer? But seeing the young girl so genuinely considerate, a warm feeling spread through her heart.

An Yin didn’t insist.

Noticing the young girl’s apprehensive look, the auntie tentatively asked, "Are you afraid of Mr. Bao?"

An Yin shuddered at her words. Did she make it that obvious? "A little bit."

"Actually, Mr. Bao is quite kind." The auntie thought of sothing, "When I first started working here, I accidentally broke one of Mr. Bao’s vases. He didn’t hold it against or make compensate for it. Later I heard from soone else that every object in Mr. Bao’s room was priceless!"

Upon ntioning this, guilt washed over the auntie’s face.

What she didn’t say was that after the incident, she beca even more ticulous and diligent in managing Mr. Bao’s affairs.
