Assistant Lin held the Rolls-Royce Phantom’s key fob in his hand. Seeing the scene before him, his hand froze in mid-air.
The valet quickly composed himself, took the car keys from Assistant Lin, and hurried to help with parking.
At the sa ti, Manager Liu from the club approached Bao Shaojin with his attendant, bending over and calling out, "Mr. Bao!"
Bao Shaojin looked cold and aloof. His pitch-black eyes stared directly at the young girl, ignoring any calls from others.
"Take it." As he looked at the dazed young girl, Bao Shaojin extended his phone to her.
"Thank you." An Yin spoke in a dazed voice, slowly taking it from his hand.
Their eyes both fell on the phone, where a clear crack marred the screen, and An Yin carefully wiped dust from the screen.
Bao Shaojin’s deep eyes quietly watched her actions.
The next second, his dark gaze fell on her clean, transparent face. "You still haven’t answered , what are you doing here?"
Hearing his words, An Yin’s gaze flickered as she replied warmly, "My friend is inside; he got drunk, so I ca to take him ho."
Bao Shaojin pondered the aning of her words: she said friend, not boyfriend.
Bao Shaojin asked, "Male friend?"
"Yeah." An Yin was taken aback, not understanding the aning behind his sudden question.
Scoff...
Bao Shaojin recalled the scene the day she was discharged, standing together with a boy, which he found very displeasing.
"Does he have no relatives or friends? Why would he ask a girl to pick him up here?" Bao Shaojin’s cold eyes were deep and dark as if they could see through people, staring at her intensely, giving her nowhere to hide.
An Yin lowered her eyes, unsure how to answer.
Seeing her pitiful appearance, Bao Shaojin’s expression softened slightly and then he said, "Lead the way."
"Huh?" An Yin looked up at him blankly, not understanding his aning.
Lead the way?
Lead where?
Go where?
An Yin realized that being with Bao Shaojin was quite ntally exhausting!
"To find your friend." Looking at her silly expression, Bao Shaojin felt quite helpless.
After listening, An Yin looked elated, but rembering the previous hindrance inside, her face fell, and she muttered, "The staff here said only mbers can go in, and I’m not a mber."
After An Yin finished speaking, Manager Liu, standing beside them, quickly ca over with a smile, apologizing, "It’s our staff’s fault for not recognizing this lady as Mr. Bao’s friend. From now on, the doors here are always open for you."
After Manager Liu spoke, he snuck a glance at Mr. Bao’s face and, seeing his calm deanor and no sign of distancing himself from the young lady, he heaved a sigh of relief. It seed he had bet correctly, suggesting the young lady was quite special to Mr. Bao.
"So, can I go in now?"
An Yin asked the unfamiliar man in front of her, all the while taking the chance to scrutinize him. The unfamiliar man wore a suit, his hair neatly combed, showing imnse respect when facing Bao Shaojin. She wondered what position he held at this club?
"Of course, please!" Manager Liu gestured with his hand, even his tone becoming gentle.
"Thank you." An Yin couldn’t worry about so much at the mont; she needed to find Su Yifeng quickly.
An Yin was about to step forward but hesitated, seeing Bao Shaojin still standing to one side, she asked, "Are you coming with ?"
"What, you don’t want to?" Bao Shaojin raised an eyebrow and looked at her.
His features were sharp, his nose high and straight, and his piercing eyes looked particularly grim at this mont.
"No, not at all." An Yin replied anxiously.
Manager Liu led the way in front.
Bao Shaojin and An Yin walked side by side.
Assistant Lin silently followed behind.
It was the first ti Manager Liu had ever seen soone dare to walk side by side with Mr. Bao.
Even the young master from the Lin Family, and the one from the Su Family, not to ntion Qin from the family as prominent as the Bao Family, didn’t dare walk in sync with Mr. Bao, yet the young girl dared to, and did so quite casually, seemingly treating Mr. Bao like just any regular person. Manager Liu quelled the storm in his heart, maintaining a composed and calm deanor.
"Miss, may I know your surna?" While walking, Manager Liu offered a professional smile, maintaining a respectable distance as he looked at the young girl.
"Hello, my na is An Yin." An Yin didn’t know why he asked her na, but she truthfully told him anyway.
"Miss An, whom are you looking for, if you don’t mind saying? I could have soone help you check." Manager Liu suggested.
"Okay, thank you." Realizing the other was offering to help find soone, An Yin’s face lit up with joy, and her footsteps beca lighter, she slowly said, "His na is Su Yifeng, Su from Jiangsu, hope from hope, and wind from blowing wind."
Su Yifeng.
Standing beside An Yin, Bao Shaojin listened to her crisp voice reciting soone else’s na, explaining carefully word by word, seemingly afraid of the other not understanding. A thought crossed his mind: the young girl cared a lot about this man nad Su Yifeng?
"Alright." Manager Liu, after listening, looked at the attendant beside him, whispered a few words, and the attendant quickly left.
They arrived at the VIP exclusive elevator.
Manager Liu scanned his fingerprint, and the group entered.
They stopped on the twelfth floor.
From the young girl’s brief speech earlier, Manager Liu picked up on the key issue.
The young girl’s friend was drunk, and generally, the twelfth floor of the "Qin Land Club" is where everyone drinks and makes rry, so Manager Liu took the initiative to bring them to this floor.
As they stepped out of the elevator, an attendant ca to Manager Liu reporting the findings, "Manager Liu, Young Master Su is in the V23 room."
"Okay." Manager Liu replied, and the attendant quickly stepped back.
An Yin also heard the attendant’s words and watched Manager Liu walk towards them. Feeling quite embarrassed, she felt she had wasted so much of their ti for no reason, "We can find the room ourselves, thank you for your help."
"Miss An, you’re welco. It’s our duty; this floor covers a large area, so if I lead the way, we can save so ti." Manager Liu spoke tactfully.
"Well..." An Yin looked troubled, turning her head to glance at Bao Shaojin.
Seeing her puzzled expression, Bao Shaojin understood that the young girl didn’t want to trouble others. He looked at Manager Liu, "We’ll find it ourselves."
"Alright, Mr. Bao." Since Mr. Bao had spoken, Manager Liu didn’t say more, bowed, and stepped back.
Assistant Lin had been following silently behind them, desperately wishing he knew an invisibility technique, making others forget he was even there.
Just as Assistant Lin stood silently, Bao Shaojin turned his head, looking at him.
Assistant Lin’s heart trembled at the gaze and then heard him speak.
"Tell An Nan to make sure to properly entertain the young master from the ng Family."
"Understood, Mr. Bao!" Assistant Lin nodded and, as he stepped back, also let out a sigh of relief.
