Seeing that Mu Siyin had taken out her phone to send the pictures, Mu Xingyu beca nervous. “You won’t dare, Mu Siyin!”
“You’ll know once I send it out.”
“What on earth do you want?” Mu Xingyu stomped her feet in rage.
She was on the brink of losing her mind!
Mu Siyin raised an eyebrow. Sat on the sofa with her legs crossed, she said, “Pour a cup of tea to apologize, and I’ll let you go this ti.”
“You!” Mu Xingyu lifted her finger and gritted her teeth bitterly.
Mu Siyin imdiately held up her phone and tilted her head to one side as she threatened, “Hmm?”
Mu Xingyu clenched her fists as she took several deep breaths. “Fine. Just you wait!”
As Mu Xingyu turned her back to pour a cup of tea, the smirk on Mu Siyin’s face deepened.
“Here’s the tea that you wanted!” Soon, Mu Xingyu placed a cup of water in front of Mu Siyin.
Mu Siyin was not satisfied with her actions. “You haven’t apologized, big sister!”
Mu Xingyu was so sick of Mu Siyin calling her ‘big sister’ that it made her temples throb in pain.
However, Mu Siyin now had sothing on her, and she was worried that Mu Siyin might send out her pictures on the spur of the mont. By then, things would really be over for her and Gu Yifan.
“I’m sorry.”
Mu Siyin folded her arms and shook her head. “You’re not sincere.”
Mu Xingyu bit her tongue and clenched her fingers as she forced herself to sound more genuine. “I’m sorry.”
Mu Siyin nodded her head. “That’s more like it.”
Since she had given Mu Siyin what she wanted, Mu Xingyu turned around to leave. She did not want to be around Mu Siyin for another second.
However, Mu Siyin suddenly stood up and left the sofa. She looked at Mu Xingyu as the latter walked through the corridors and said, “Oh yeah, Mu Xingyu!”
Mu Xingyu could feel herself going crazy, but she tried hard to suppress her anger as she spun around in hatred.
“What now?”
“I was just ssing around with you just now. I didn’t send any reporters after you.”
In that instance, Mu Xingyu’s eyes widened. The pure hatred in her eyes was enough to burn Mu Siyin to ashes.
Mu Siyin raised her eyebrows and gave a fake laugh. “That’s not right. I an, the ones from the last ti are still stored perfectly…”
Then, she quickly strode upstairs.
Mu Xingyu’s fingernails dug into her flesh as she swore to herself. One day, she would make Mu Siyin kneel by her feet to beg for forgiveness!
Mu Siyin was in a good mood when she got back to her room. She was amazed by her own intelligence. Torturing Mu Xingyu and Gu Yifan slowly were better than giving them a quick death!
Just as she closed the door, her phone suddenly rang. She took it out to see that it was Ji Yang.
She answered it happily. “How’s work, Yangyang?”
“Aweso! Do you know how hot our head of departnt is? And he’s a very competent person when it cos to solving cases. My god, I’m so obsessed with him!”
Mu Siyin had so faint mories of the head of the departnt. If her mories were right, he seed to have a liking for another woman instead.
“Does your head of departnt have a girlfriend?”
Ji Yang’s face sank. “I think so. That’s why I can only worship him like an idol!”
Mu Siyin burst into laughter and said, “Oh yeah! Have you been assigned to any cases yet?”
Ji Yang replied with a yes. However, her voice beca solemn before she continued saying, “I was just about to tell you about it. I’ll be going to Fengcheng tomorrow for an operation and will only be back after the case has been closed.”
Mu Siyin’s body stiffened at the words “Fengcheng”.
She would never forget the fact that in her past life, Ji Yang had died in Fengcheng. It turned out that their mission was actually to investigate a drug trafficking organization. In the process, Ji Yang was shot to her death by a drug dealer when she tried to save a hostage…
