Shi Beiyu squinted his eyes and nodded before he let out an instructable laugh. “Thank God I arrived earlier. Otherwise, the policen will have to work in vain if you really made a report.”
Old Madam Mu forced a laugh. “Yeah, what a coincidence.”
Shi Beiyu gave a brief acknowledgnt. “In that case, I should get going. Yinyin is still waiting for to go back.”
Old Madam nodded. “Okay, please take good care of Yinyin then.”
“Sure.”
The three of them headed downstairs. Just as Old Madam and Mu Heyuan were sending Shi Beiyu off, a scream suddenly ca from the corridor. “Ah! Let go of ! It’s not , I didn’t do it! Don’t touch !”
Shi Beiyu and Yan Ze instantly stopped in their tracks.
Shi Beiyu slightly turned to the side and looked at Mu Heyuan curiously. “That…”
Mu Heyuan laughed dryly with a stiff face. “That’s…”
“How embarrassing. One of our maids has sticky fingers but keeps making noises as she doesn’t admit it.”
Old Madam shook her head helplessly as she spoke.
Upon hearing that, Shi Beiyu did not bother to ask further and said wanly, “Everyone has occasional bouts of greed.”
Old Madam laughed dryly. “That’s right, so all valuables should be kept carefully even at your own house.”
It was her indirect way of telling him that she took Mu Siyin’s beads for a reason.
Soone like Shi Beiyu could surely understand the aning behind her words. He slightly nodded his head and said, “You’re right, Old Madam. I’ll tell Yinyin to keep her valuables much more carefully next ti, once I get ho.”
Old Madam was at a loss for words. That was not what she ant.
After they got in the car and drove away for quite a distance, Shi Beiyu imdiately ordered in a deep voice, “Get soone to keep an eye on the Mu family and find out what happened.”
That screaming voice was very abnormal and definitely not as simple as what Old Madam said.
Yan Ze nodded in agreent when he heard that.
He felt that the scream was a little strange too.
Shi Beiyu did not believe Old Madam’s words, let alone whether she had found out the true function of the blood jade beads. Besides, he felt that she was a little unfathomable.
Knowing that the blood jade beads were in her hands, he was a little worried. He had to look for Master Hu for reassurance before he could let Mu Siyin put it on.
Therefore, Yan Ze was sent to the company while Shi Beiyu tugged Shi Ran along to look for Master Hu again.

Now that Shi Beiyu wanted to look for Master Hu again, he really wanted to cry.

Shi Beiyu glanced at him slightly when he heard that. “Why?”
Shi Ran paused for a long while with his arms around the steering wheel before he muttered. “I’m scared…”

Shi Ran looked conflicted. “I am a little embarrassed, but you didn’t know that I had nightmares the whole night! I’m really impressed how you can hug sister-in-law to sleep at night. Aren’t you afraid?”
Shi Beiyu knitted his brows and snorted. “What’s there to be afraid of? She’s just a remnant soul.”
However, he was afraid that Mu Siyun would appear in the middle of the night and had him hugging the wrong person.
Upon hearing that, Shi Ran shook his head bitterly. “What a hardcore.”
