Shi Beiyu lifted his eyebrow slightly and shook his head again.
“Clothes? A handbag?”
Shi Beiyu shook his head once again.
Mu Siyin looked troubled. “Then what is it?”
Shi Beiyu decided to beat around the bush. “Keep guessing.”
Mu Siyin’s brows knitted together tightly as she looked at Shi Beiyu and said, “Don’t tell that you got a house.”
Shi Beiyu chuckled. “A house is nothing compared to its value.”
Mu Siyin gave up when she heard this. “I really don’t know what it is, Uncle.”
Mu Siyin had not called him an ‘Uncle’ for a while, so her sudden remark that day excited Shi Beiyu. He smirked as he uttered, “Stupid.”
Mu Siyin was offended by his words. “How am I supposed to know what it is when you make it so mysterious?”
Shi Beiyu laughed joyfully. “I’ll show it to you at night.”
Mu Siyin did not like what she heard.
“You… Why are you like this? Why can’t you tell after all the suspense?”
Seeing that she was getting annoyed, Shi Beiyu lifted his eyebrows and said, “Do you really want to know?”
Mu Siyin nodded her head madly. “Yeah!”
Shi Beiyu simply smiled and said, “It’s sothing so far yet so near.”
This caught Mu Siyin by surprise.
Shi Beiyu could only laugh when he saw how dumbfounded she looked.
When she finally ca back to her senses the next second, she looked at Shi Beiyu anxiously. “You! Do you think it’s funny to tease ?”
He was just beating around the bush to tease her!
This evil-hearted wolf!
Shi Beiyu looked at her innocently. “I’m being honest.”
Mu Siyin’s face blushed uncontrollably. “Y-You’re a pervert!”
Shi Beiyu burst out laughing. As he hugged her, he said, “It’s not even nightti yet. I haven’t even started.”
Mu Siyin wished she could tape Shi Beiyu’s mouth shut.
“Shush. Whoever that talks within this half an hour is a dog.”
Shi Beiyu was speechless.
It was mid-noon by the ti they arrived at Shi Beiyu’s villa.
Seeing Mu Siyin’s arrival, Uncle Zhong paced up curiously to welco her. “Little Siyin! Where have you been these past few days?”
Mu Siyin was just about to reply to him when Shi Beiyu pulled her to another side. Then, he looked at Uncle Zhong and said, “Yinyin is hungry, Uncle Zhong. Get soone to make her lunch now.”
Uncle Zhong imdiately tutted. “What’s wrong with talking to Little Siyin, Little Beibei? I haven’t seen her for so many days.”
Mu Siyin tried to hide her smile when she heard this.
However, Shi Beiyu said, “I haven’t seen her in a few days, too. Wait for your turn.”
Mu Siyin was at a loss for words.
As Shi Beiyu pulled Mu Siyin into the house, Uncle Zong glared at Shi Beiyu angrily. “That petty little brat! Can’t I even talk to my daughter-in-law for two minutes?”
Mu Siyin was very speechless at Shi Beiyu’s actions too. Turning her head around, she looked at him and whispered, “It’s fine if Uncle Zhong wants to talk to . Why do you have to piss him off like that?”
Shi Beiyu looked at her and murmured, “He kept trying to hold you back. He’s going to talk to you for a long ti again and waste my ti.”
Mu Siyin did not know whether to laugh or cry. He could be such a child sotis.
When they took their seats at the dining table, Shi Beiyu suddenly asked, “Do you want to see the gift that I’ve prepared?”
Mu Siyin looked at him in surprise. “Didn’t you say…”
“Give a second. I’ll get it for you.”
Mu Siyin was stunned when she saw Shi Beiyu standing up. Did he really get her a gift?
She frowned as she pondered about the possibility. She still had no idea what Shi Beiyu was giving her. He said that it was nothing compared to a house. In that case, what rare treasure was he giving her?
It did not take long before Shi Beiyu ca downstairs with a gift box in his hands.
Mu Siyin’s first instinct was to peek at the box in his hands…
