Three people headed toward the main gate.
The wealthy have their reasons for affluence.
Just by looking at the estate’s gate, one could tell it was valuable; surprisingly, the intelligent lock was still intact.
As Wen Qingyu approached, the iris recognition detected him, and imdiately a chanical voice ca, "Welco back, young master."
Su Zhiruan: "...almost missed it."
Wen Qingyu hadn’t expected this at all, that the gate could actually open.
The three entered.
The mont the door was opened, a musty, rotting sll rushed into their nostrils.
Su Zhiruan was the first to cover Ruanruan’s nose and mouth, retreating with him, "It’s moldy."
So much ti had passed. The air was all moist, and the sun hadn’t even made an appearance, so it was only natural for things to get moldy.
It took a while after opening the door before they could barely enter.
Su Zhiruan, concerned about Ruanruan, didn’t go inside but took him on a tour outside instead.
Apart from the main building of the estate, there were two villas behind, likely annexes, and low buildings on each side, probably servant quarters.
Su Zhiruan, at 1.65 ters tall, held the child, and the water on the ground reached her knees.
Ruanruan was extrely curious about everything outside, tightly hugging Su Zhiruan’s neck, looking here and there, constantly exclaiming.
"Mommy mommy, is that a soccer field over there?"
"Mommy mommy, why don’t we go inside to find daddy, why did daddy go in alone, what if he gets scared?"
"Mommy, where did great-grandpa and great-grandma go?"
Su Zhiruan explained everything to him.
While explaining, she also felt sowhat helpless.
The catchphrase of a four-year-old child is the word "mommy."
Especially "mommy" coupled with a hundred thousand whys, these questions really give one a headache.
But to satisfy the child’s curiosity and gain knowledge, she answered the questions to the best of her ability, and if she did not know, she would tell Ruanruan that mommy did not know either, and they could explore together.
After Wen Qingyu ca out, he reached out and took the child Su Zhiruan was holding, "Let ."
"Did you rember anything?" Su Zhiruan shook her arms, curiously asked him, "Have your mories recovered?"
"None." Wen Qingyu adjusted the way he held the child, making him more comfortable.
"Then why do you look so preoccupied?" Su Zhiruan followed beside him as they waded through the water.
Wen Qingyu, holding the child, suddenly stopped and took Su Zhiruan’s other hand, "I was thinking about how we can have a perfect wedding."
Ruanruan listened with interest in his dad’s arms, looking around here and there, "A wedding? Mommy and daddy are getting married!"
"Then, I want a little sister." He grinned, bringing up a previous idea again.
"I want one too." Wen Qingyu nodded in agreent.
Su Zhiruan touched her chin, raising an eyebrow at him, "I seem to recall, when I was giving birth to Ruanruan, soone was crying and shouting about only having one child."
After she finished speaking, she saw the man seem to freeze for a mont, then he beca sowhat awkward.
It seed he had thought of the nervous and scared emotions he had when Su Zhiruan was giving birth to Ruanruan.
"Ruanruan, I rember." Every ti he ntioned this, Wen Qingyu’s eyes would moisten, "Sorry, I won’t bring it up again."
Su Zhiruan took his hand voluntarily, "It’s okay, let nature take its course."
After all, she had a cheat.

Temporarily having no place to settle in Jinghua City as it was too moldy and damp, Su Zhiruan and Wen Qingyu, concerned about bacteria affecting Ruanruan, returned to their ho on the hillside outskirts with the child.
The next day.
Grandpa Wen and Grandma Wen arrived.
They reported a series of recent good news and also conveyed a ssage on behalf of the state, which would announce their achievents and award them for their rits, not to ntion other bonuses and prizes.
After the apocalypse, the rebuilding of order and new structures inevitably involved their participation.
All of this was developing in a positive direction.

The third month after the end of the apocalypse.
The country’s order and infrastructure were largely restored, and although the initial outbreak of the apocalypse had led to inflation and currency devaluation, with the governnt’s tangible regulation and the big hand of the market, the economy had also recovered sowhat.
The country also gained considerable prestige internationally, making the world see the power of the East.
Abroad, due to the disaster, the population had reduced by over half, and many survivors were disabled. The tasks they had ahead were nurous; seeing such an orderly reconstruction by this major Eastern country, the whole world was in awe of this mysterious Eastern power.
