There was a hint of sincere concern and nervousness in Zenith’s voice when he asked him, which Kylian could sense imdiately, even without making eye contact with him. He was truly worried for him instead of his own private matters, and this sense of priority made Kylian feel a gush of warm giddy emotions rising deep down inside his heart, as he snuggled a little closer to Zenith.

While resting his head on his arm and keeping his eyes closed, a warm smile curved his soft lips when Kylian answered in an amicable tone, "Don’t be worried about , and just go back ho to perform all the duties like an ideal son. Also, I am a sturdy guy, so you must be already aware that I will be fine on my own, right?"

"Huh?" However, sounding a bit cranky, Zenith made a disappointed expression at Kylian’s adorable face, before he whined childishly, "Aren’t you a bit too relaxed about hearing having to leave? I had at least hoped you would at least feel a little sad, or even try to pamper in advance for the days we will be apart from each other. But your answer sounded as if...you don’t even give a fuck about it, huh? Do I matter so little to you, Mr. Kylian!?"

’Mr. Kylian? Pfft! How can soone sound so adorable even while he’s sulking at ?’ The thoughts echoed vividly inside his mind while Kylian held a small smile on his lips. Still keeping his eyes closed but leaning his head a little closer to his chest, "What for you are nagging at now?"

"Of course, I will nag!" Zenith sounded more like an angry wife furious at his husband’s laid-back nature before venting, even though his arms held Kylian tightly close to him, "Here I am having separation anxiety just from the thought of leaving you all by yourself in the Academy...but in comparison, you seem way too relaxed about it! Shouldn’t you have at least tried to fake a soft reaction to soothe a bit more? It seems I am the only one who’s overthinking!"

"Yes, you’re right. You’re unnecessarily overthinking now." Keeping his calm composure, Kylian answered very diligently which was followed by a big sigh. "First of all, I won’t be all by myself in the Academy...I have been acquainted with a few nice people over there who will give company so that I won’t be left all by myself. That’s why, you don’t have to fret too much."

In a mature way, Kylian thought of making Zenith feel assured by his answer, as he had indirectly ntioned Stephan and the other beta guys in the Academy. But it seed as if his idea backfired since he had quite underestimated Zenith’s possessiveness about him also including all those people around Kylian when he wouldn’t be there.

"By other nice people...do you an that Todor bastard?" Zenith was very quick to catch onto the hint and his hand clasped tighter to hold Kylian’s body in his embrace, as he sounded quite vexed, "That Todor bastard seems way too clingy towards you...it gets so riled up sotis that I want to snap his neck."

"Don’t talk about him like that...Stephan is my first friend over there—"

"And I am your husband, of course, I am way more important than him!"

Kylian flinched a little from hearing Zenith’s loud proclamation, as it imdiately turned his porcelain cheeks a bit flustered red. Until now, no matter how strong his feelings were towards Zenith, Kylian didn’t have the guts to profess them aloud, or even if he did...it took him a lot of courage to do that.

But in comparison, Zenith was way too brazen and wouldn’t think once before blurting the words that ca straight from his heart.
