After refreshing himself with splashes of cold water on his face, Kylian took so ti to walk out of the restroom and saw only Stephan was waiting for him at the table where they were set to eat. Due to the unnecessary interruption by Fred and the gang, their food had turned cold and bland which wasn’t edible anymore.

While sadly glancing at the food platters that were discarded by the workers of the cafeteria, Kylian mumbled to himself, ’Darn it... just watching all these foods discarded is making angry at those bullies once again. I should’ve thrown a punch in his face at first to pick up the fight...then I wouldn’t have been feeling low like this now...’

"Kyle, those boys had another lecture to attend, so they left first. Before going, they said they would co to see you again and have already asked for your number from ." Noticing his sad face while looking at the food waste, Stephan exhaled a big sigh when he initiated a new conversation.

However, feeling a bit lighter in his head now, Kylian expressed his inner thoughts to him, "Well, i think I might’ve reacted a bit loudly towards Roby. You see, I tend to get angry whenever soone tries to belittle ogas because I have been raised by a single oga mother all alone. So...I will make sure to talk to Roby about it next ti..."

"It’s completely fine, and I don’t think Roby has minded it at all. They might seem a bit weird to you at first, but I think those three have now beco your devoted followers after watching how you defended Jack from those bully bastards." Stephan cordially answered him with a smile, but his gaze seed a bit mysterious as if he was trying to avoid that topic.

After a brief pause, Stephan added further, "They already paid before leaving and I have also made the paynt for my al. So now, you are free to pay for your share." He gently passed the bill over to him and placed it on the top of the table.

Sohow feeling a bit reassured by his words, when Kylian took a glance at the bill, his jaw dropped from the shock. His ocean eyes rolled big and holding a gaze of disbelief at the piece of paper, he almost shrieked out, "1050 dollars? I didn’t even get to eat anything properly...so how could the bill accumulate so much? I...I think they must’ve mistakenly calculated all the bill in my share—"

"Oh, no. The bill was 2500$ and we four have paid our shares. Since you had ordered quite a large amount of food, so, the bill piled up more for you." Stephan addressed very calmly as if seeing those crazy big figures printed on the bill was nothing much for him.

But the situation was the opposite for Kylian.

Before he left for Westport, Marita had made sure to tuck so pocket money for his small expenses which Kylian had thought more than enough for him to last for at least a few months before he would try searching for so part-ti gig. But now, looking at the crazy big amount, Kylian had quickly realized that if this went on...he wouldn’t have any money left here anymore and would end up broke.

One thing he was very certain about was that this Academy was too lavish and suffocating for him to even hope for an ordinary life here.

Utterly regretting his decision to order such a big load of food, while Kylian was grabbing his cash to hand it over to the counter, Stephan kept observing him calmly. When his facial expression turned sour, Stephan rather chose to ask him, "If you’ve any problem right now then shall I pay the bill for you, Kyle?"

"Oh, no...it’s completely fine. I can pay for it..." Kylian nervously forged a smile when he answered, but the grim look embedded in his ocean eyes couldn’t be hidden from him. After Kylian made the paynt with a heavy heart, his brows frowned deeper as if he was calculating how to manage his expenses next since he had lost a big sum here.

"Well, since you’re new here...so you might be unaware of it now. And not many students opt for it either due to lack of ti managent, but if you want...you can look for a part-ti job here, for so quick extra bucks, Kylian." As if Stephan could accurately read the perplexed thoughts going in his head, he ca up with the needful suggestion that imdiately attracted Kylian’s attention.

"Really? Can I get any job here inside the campus?" His dull grim eyes now glimred with a ray of hope in them when Kylian asked him, almost holding his breath. "It can be any job...I don’t have any special preferences either, Stephan."

"Well, the gym at the Western arena of the campus often recruits part-tir trainers among the students, and so of the boys opt for it whenever they need so extra cash. Since you have a well-built physique, I don’t think it will be too hard for you to match their standards."

"And I have already worked as a physical trainer in my hotown before coming here, so of course I can do it!" His low enthusiast self was now boosted with confidence when Kylian mumbled in a jovial loud voice, "I will definitely go and check them out first—"

"Wait, that’s not all it is about. You missed the most important hint in my words, Kyle." As if Kylian was too excited to sprint to that gym right at that mont, Stephan grabbed his arm and urged him to keep sitting as he continued, "They recruit many part-tirs often because the environnt there makes the other boys quit within a few days after they joined.

"The boys from Zenith’s gang, Fred and others often tend to attend that gym, and...they gang up to abuse the part-tirs, sotis forcibly making them quit. So, it’s not an easy job either, Kyle. You must thoroughly think about it before applying...because you already have issues with those punks..."
