Chapter 28: Chapter 28 Why did they have to be spiders again?
′′ Run faster Desmond Astryd, unless you want to be the dinner of those things back there′′. I gasped while running, anyone who saw right now would think hell is burning behind .
That thought wouldn’t be too far from reality. . . thinking better of it; I think I would rather it was hell back there.

Seeing that my shaless insincere prayers were ignored, I resigned himself to my cruel fate and prepared for battle; I turned around to look at my adversary and heroically shouted:

But underneath the heroic image of my was a man with a fear of spiders who couldn’t stop crying inside because of my bad luck.

Leaving in the past that shaful incident with the frost owl, I approached the place where Kyuru was; she left the solemn appearance she had on her while she helped and went back to her usual playful deanor.
′′ I don′t know what you did, but thanks for that Kyuru; There is no doubt that you are the most amazing fairy in the world. ” I exclaid without any sha for flattering little Kyuru.

Maybe Kyuru had beco more aware of herself or the fact that her partner is a fucking pervert; this ti she used her small arms to cover her huge breasts that always bounced when she acted arrogantly.
When I saw her gestures, I couldn’t help but feel that I had lost sothing very important to , my motivation was on the ground, and hope was lost. As I wallowed in my misery for completely stupid reasons, I approached what was left of the owl’s carcass; Looking at the bloody pieces inside the blanket I decided that I would just use analysis and get out of this place.

Seeing the fairy lie back down on the little bed inside my backpack, I could only smile bitterly at her laziness.
After walking for a few minutes, a small clearing is observed ahead, a cave of earth is in the middle of it, but the most important thing would be the tree that is right at the entrance of the cave. Following the usual routine, take out the hunter’s book and use analysis on the fruits of the tree.

So I ran with everything I had, I quickly approached the tree; without any ti to appreciate the tallic beauty of the fruits, I just take them all. But maybe because karma had co to settle debts with for all those won that I cheated on in the past or because I wasn’t sneak enough before approaching the cave; a series of ghoulish screeches echoed from the bottom of the cave.
′′ Holy shit. . . I think I know that noise. . . please the goddess of fortune that is not what I think it is′′. I said while turning chanically to observe the origin.
The screeches grew louder, and the noises the creatures made moving in the dark began to beco deafening. When the creatures finally revealed themselves, goosebumps spread all over my body and I almost pissed on my pants.
What ca out of the cave were at least twenty giant spiders the size of a dog, their red eyes seed to crave my blood and their diabolical jaws asked for my flesh; wood-colored the damn things stopped just half a second out of the cave before running towards . I didn’t even try to be brave, I just turned around and ran for my life.
I just ran and ran, but things kept following , it seems like I really bothered them this ti; As I ran, I kept cursing my luck and asking the goddess of fortune for forgiveness. Because that didn’t seem to work, I decided it was ti to turn around and fight. Let my fear turn to hatred for those stupid spiders and send them to say hello to the aqua rabbits I have sent to hell.

With a heroic cry to end my fear. I still bitterly muttered a few words before starting the battle.
