A wild boar weighing about 200 jin was quickly dealt with by the skillful actions of the brothers Ler and Rand.

All the internal organs were completely removed, and a small pit was dug to bury them.

To Tang Zheng, this seed sowhat wasteful. The Rock team and the Enfirea grandfather and grandson showed no interest at all in the innards.

Obviously, they were not accustod to eating internal organs.

Naturally, Tang Zheng did not say anything about it.

Although these people appeared like low-tier characters in ani, both the adventurers and the Enfirea grandfather and grandson who owned a potion shop were not among the poor.

The cleaned wild boar at was placed over the campfire to be roasted. Soon, layers of fat dripped down, causing the flas to flare up again!

The air was filled with a delicious aroma.

The team leader, Dosali, walked over from the side and sat beside Tang Zheng, speaking in a cheerful tone.

Tang Zheng listened attentively, occasionally nodding and replying with a sentence or two, but most of the ti it was Dosali talking.

Enfirea was equally interested in the adventurers’ experiences.

Although Dosali's stories were mostly about his past adventures, sotis mixed with so bragging, Tang Zheng could still glean so useful information from them.

The next day.

At dawn, the group set off once again.

The journey ahead beca more difficult, especially as they neared the border. The towering Angelicia Mountains appeared in the distance, stretching endlessly before them.

The previously light atmosphere turned much more serious.

Along the way!

They began to face more monster attacks, though mostly from relatively weak beasts!

Tang Zheng smoothly gained a good amount of experience.

The Angelicia Mountains separated the Li Yestige Kingdom and the Bahas Empire, serving as a natural barrier between the two nations.

According to team leader Dosali, 400 years ago, the two countries were actually one, but for unknown reasons, the vast nation was destroyed and split into the two kingdoms that exist today.

Suddenly.

“Alert!”

Baske, the archer guarding behind the carriage, suddenly spoke up as a warning. The others’ ears twitched slightly, their expressions turning serious and solemn:

“Big guys are coming!”

Upon hearing this, the expressions of the other Rock team mbers shifted slightly.

Grandmother Lizzy pulled the reins expressionlessly, bringing the carriage to a stop, while Enfirea, sitting atop the carriage, nervously gripped the wooden railing with both hands.

Tang Zheng noticed the changes on the Rock team mbers' faces and tightened his gaze.

After this period of contact, Tang Zheng knew that the archer nad Baske had a natural ability far beyond normal hearing.

Besides providing ranged firepower, Baske also took on the role of intelligence scout for the adventurer team!

For him to be this tense clearly ant he had heard sothing terrifying!

However!

Tang Zheng remained calm inside. The true powerhouse in this group was not the adventurer team but the grandmother Lizzy who drove the carriage.

“Waa! Waa!”

“Waaa!!”

“………”

A series of sharp screams burst out, accompanied by rustling sounds from the roadside grass, rushing forward.

About one ter tall, covered in dark green skin, looking quite thin and weak, with white pupils and ferocious faces, goblins appeared before them.

There were ten of them in total!

Tang Zheng glanced at the goblins. Most held wooden sticks or similar weapons. Although they were nurous, they were not truly threatening.

Goblins were a weak race but reproduced extrely fast and had low intelligence. Under one-on-one conditions, a cautious adult could kill a goblin.

Not to ntion the Rock team, whose average adventurer level ranged from 7 to 10 at the Silver rank.

Of course, goblins had several subtypes.

Were the truly dangerous ones behind them?

Tang Zheng’s gaze passed over the rushing goblins, looking toward the dense forest beyond the grass.

Boom!

Boom!

Heavy footsteps ca. Compared to the goblins screaming wildly in front, the presence behind brought a real sense of oppression.

“Everyone, watch out!”

Team leader Dosali drew the twin swords at his waist and shouted sternly.

“Roar!”

With a beast-like roar,

a figure over two ters tall, bulky and muscular, with dark yellow skin and a back covered in a short-spiked armor-like layer, strode out.

“An ogre? No! Two of them!” Archer Baske said with a grim expression.

“Wawawa!”

“Wawawa!”

The ten goblins, who had been hesitant to advance, suddenly grew bolder upon seeing the two ogres. Waving their wooden sticks, they charged toward the carriage.

“Take care of these goblins first!”

Team leader Dosali charged forward first, raising his right hand sword and fiercely throwing it ahead.

With a sharp slicing sound,

the sword struck the leading goblin first, piercing its chest with deadly precision!

The goblin let out a miserable scream, light green blood spraying from the wound along the sword blade, splattering the ground!

At the sa ti, Dosali arrived beside the goblin, stomping hard on its chest with his foot, gripping the sword hilt with his right hand and pulling it upward, spraying more blood mixed with bits of flesh.

Simultaneously!

Dosali swung the left sword and decapitated a nearby goblin with one stroke.

At the sa ti,

the brothers Gor and Rand raised their arms, holding the silver shields strapped to their hands in front of them, rushing forward quickly.

Both toppled a goblin to the ground, then smashed their shields down fiercely, crushing it into mush.

Compared to the bloody actions of the first three,

archer Baske was more elegant, drawing and shooting arrows smoothly, quickly killing two goblins.

In just a mont, six of the ten goblins had been eliminated by the Rock team.

Tang Zheng watched the scene and took a slight deep breath.

He was not nervous but felt a bit disgusted by the bloodiness.

Along the way, they had encountered scattered monster attacks, so this was not the first ti seeing such scenes.

But as a modern person, he still felt so discomfort.

Slling the coppery blood scent in the air!

Seeing the goblin heads flying and bodies smashed by shields in the distance, Tang Zheng felt the brutal reality of this world more intensely.

At this mont,

besides feeling so nausea, Tang Zheng also inexplicably felt a surge of excitent.

He suddenly understood that this was the legendary “Eight Desire King” who once troubled the entire continent!

While Tang Zheng was still stunned, the remaining four goblins were quickly dealt with by the Rock team!

anwhile, the two huge ogres roared angrily and charged out from the forest!
