"Now then, I should look at others a bit before resuming my training."
John then went back to the training ground to observe and oversee their training for a bit.
He saw the newly evolved Gold-rank Monsters’ skills and fights, making him nod in satisfaction.
"Boss, I am focusing on my tal and I swear I’ll reach level 2 in it soon," rc said with determined eyes. "I can feel it. I am close."
John smiled. "Then do it fast. I want to train."
He didn’t want to train without resources. It felt like a waste.
If rc was close, then he would focus on another thing.
His soul technique—Blood Alloy Sculpture.
John went into his research lab, a building located beside the garden, and activated the AI.
"Let’s see..."
John fiddled with his new magazines by manipulating Blood and tal energies according to Blood Alloy Sculpture.
This was also a control and proficiency training. Even if he didn’t improve the bullets by much, the ti and effort spent wouldn’t be wasted.
But two hours later, John got the good news as rc arrived outside the lab and roared.
"Boss, I reached level 2 in tal Mastery!"
And so, John got Blood energy from Alfred and tal energy from rc as he began training in Monster Geno Art to increase his stats.
...
Several hours passed by as John periodically asked for Blood and tal energy every two hours.
At 10:23 p.m., John finished his training as he successfully reached the peak of Silver-rank, getting all three of his stats at 100.
The Monsters were sleeping since they had trained a lot and were tired.
John also wanted to sleep, so after physically working out for half an hour with his increased physical paraters, he also fell asleep.
He woke up eight hours later after a big fat sleep on the 3rd day’s morning.
The clock had hit 7 in the morning outside as the mist and fog were heavy in the mountain range.
John freshened up as he had a proper toilet and bed created in Monster Paradise.
After bathing and eating so fruits and at, he summoned his King-ranked spirit armors over his body from his source space and left the Monster Paradise with Pymon.
"Let’s check out so other areas. We have the whole day today and two more days to make ourseleves strong," John grinned. "We might as well go on so exploration."
"Kreeee!" Pymon responded with a cheerful cry and asked where to go.
John used Soul Link, as he nad this technique, and shared Pymon’s senses to look at the various parts of the mountain range from high in the sky.
"Hmm, that area is marked dangerous on the map Azelis gave . It wouldn’t hurt to check it a bit right?" John muttered as he looked at the dark patch in the southeast of the mountain. It looked like a gorge but it had thick fog, slightly blackened, and hid everything in that area.
It was roughly 5 kiloters wide and stretched 30 kiloters long with unknown depths.
"Pymon, go through it, but with your full speed." John’s eyes glinted. "Let’s take a quick look there. If there are juicy resources, we can plan to get them."
Pymon complied and went there, activating Tempest Streak at full power.
Zoom! Boom!
A streak of light, faint gold, faint black with blue hue traveled at the speed of roughly five hundred ters per second, breaking the sound barrier with a loud blast!
John held on, his eyes squinted and focused as they shot straight towards the forbidden area, but still being fairly high.
John didn’t want to take a risk.
The bird drifted into the fog and John looked.
But suddenly, an intense pressure shot at him before Pymon suddenly cried in pain.
A powerful pull from below struck them along with a jarring howl-like sound.
John almost shat his pants as he felt like a million horses ran over his heart. Without thinking anything else, he sent Pymon and himself into Monster Paradise.
"Master!!" Pymon shouted, full-panic mode as he flapped his wings chaotically, but cald down as he saw they arrived in the Monster Paradise.
However, John’s expression was somber. "What the fuck was that? We are fucked."
Indeed. Even if he was safe, he would eventually have to go out, and the rule of thumb was that he would appear in the sa spot from where he entered Monster Paradise.
In short, there was no avoiding that fall.
"That didn’t seem natural at all."
John frowned. "What was that strange and powerful pulling force?"
"Master...I am very scared to go there," Pymon said with pitiful eyes. "Sothing is dangerous down there."
Alfred and others arrived as they heard Pymon’s cry and asked what happened.
John told them the situation before he stood up and said, "In any case, I have to go out briefly and check."
"I have to see if I still get pulled when I am in Umbral Drift form."
"I will tag along," Alfred said, his eyes intense. "We both can use Umbral Drift and check. You will not go alone, John."
John wryly smiled. He knew when Alfred beca like this, the dawg wouldn’t budge from his decision.
"Alright, man. Let’s go."
However, both of them returned just two seconds later, their breathing heavy.
"Fuck."
"Looks like it didn’t work," Ophis said as she squinted her big owl eyes.
"Maybe I should try? I can use my Magnetum Lightning Ring and it might stop the fall," rc said. "This skill upgraded when I reached level 2 tal mastery."
"Alright, let’s try."
This ti, John brought rc with him, who used the skill.
Interestingly, it slowed down the fall speed slightly, but there was no escaping the pull.
"Alright, there’s no other choice but to fall," John said with a sigh before looking at the gang before him. "But we can slow it down."
"Ophis, go and mutate your spores with that Cotton Bust Bison’s skill which has cotton-like effects. We’ll drop them down so they can turn into big cushions."
"rc, you get ready. We’ll fall down together slowly by spending two seconds outside and then returning back here. Even though the fall speed slowed down, we’d be severely injured or dead if we fell straight."
"Let’s start right away. We’ll fall and cross so distance while Ophis makes the spores."
