[ Your mastery is increased. This poison is perfect. It acts slowly towards greater potency instead of at fast, which ans its initial threat level is so low, it would be hard for cause and effect intuition to sense this poison’s overall threat even if he has high soul sensitivity. ]
"Yep. Let’s do this."
John had just auctioned three things so far, and he planned to auction at least thirty things.
This ti, he also sold high-tier Soul Techniques and Monster Geno Arts, which could fetch an ultra-high price since they would be useful even in a higher-ranked world, as they were akin to growth-type items.
After leveling up the shop, he naturally gained a bunch of new stuff in the pool.
One of which was Talent Stone.
It could awaken a Soul Talent! There were random Talent Stones, and those with pre-determined talents as well. During his refresh spree, John found fourteen Talent Stones.
He decided to sell six, three pre-determined and three random, while keeping eight stones for him, Azelis, and others, since awakening Soul Talent for Tars was very rare, unlike Monsters, who could awaken one new talent every rank by doing two Gene Potential Bursts.
[ This guy sure got a bunch of useful stuff. ]
"Yeah, that’s definitly thanks to his Cosmic Rune. I’m envious."
[ He will be ours soon. ]
...
After John was done auctioning and emptying the pockets of all forces, he went back to Monster Paradise with a new prisoner—Rakin.
"Y-You...what do you plan to do with ?" Rakin asked, stamring, his eyes filled with fear.
Max and others were still in ditation, but their 24-hour enlightennt was about to end in a couple of hours.
John icily smiled at Rakin and snapped his finger, teleporting him to the garden of ditation.
"You’re very horny, I heard. So I have prepared a very special treatnt for you."
Rakin’s head turned to see Mr. Sirius upon hearing the clear change in his voice.
When he saw Mr. Sirius turning into John, his face paled. "Y-You..."
"Yep. Mr. Sirius is none other than John Wicked."
John snapped his finger and brought Rakin to the Monster Hub.
"Hey, boss. You’re here."
"Who is that guy?"
"Look at his face. It’s like he pissed himself."
Rakin was bewildered as he saw the monsters speaking, and also felt that he was about to get fucked badly.
Little did he know, he was going to get fucked, literally.
John posted a new quest on the board.
"Everyone, here’s a new quest for those eting the requirent. Keep note, I don’t want him dead, so if he gets injured, heal him first."
As John made his announcent, the Monsters quickly looked up at the screen boards.
"Woah! That’s one hell of a nasty quest, boss!"
"Fuck it, I am doing it."
"Ti to earn so contribution, boys. Girls, stay out of this."
When Rakin read the quest John posted, the color entirely drained from his face, and despair flooded his eyes.
"No..n-no, please."
However, when he looked to his side to find John, John was already gone.
Rakin saw the monsters approaching and quickly ran into the woods.
Alas, there was no escaping.
Soon, Rakin’s despair-filled screams began ringing out.
...
anwhile, John emptied out his loot as a pile of storage rings and storage pouches appeared before him.
He could obviously sense sothing was wrong with so of those, which was why he didn’t open them right away and chose to open them safely inside Monster Paradise.
He separated the rings and pouches according to which force they ca from and looked at them with focus.
"The bastards of the Zarkhail family..." John muttered as he could feel maliciousness as clear as day from their storage rings and pouches.
He opened one, and a magical dark-green snake with black patterns imdiatly shot at him.
But he had already turned an auto-defense mode on, which consud Molding Essence according to the threat to neutralize it.
The snake got snuffed out.
"Poison?" John frowned. "What was it and how strong was it?"
A few Molding Essence was consud as he got information.
"Sovereign-rank Poison with absolute lethality..." John’s eyes turned cold. "Fuckers."
He opened the other rings and pouches of the Zarkhail family one by one, and each one had a different kind of lethal poison.
Afterward, he opened the storage rings and pouches of other demon families that were allied with as he also sensed sothing was wrong with them.
Indeed, each of them also had a poison ready to strike him, but despite them being at Sovereign-rank, their lethality was lower.
John began sending the sovereign-rank resources directly to Becky, who was in the garden.
Becky had finished her natural evolution and ranked up as well, reaching Emperor-rank with exotic attributes related to nature and water.
She also awakened a talent that increased the potency of plants and their growth speed within one kiloter of her by 20% if she dug and planted the resources herself.
Becky was now a fully natural gardener.
After John was done weeding out the dangerous storage pouches and rings of the five demon families and those seven forces as each of them had a poison, he finally moved to others.
"The last batch of demons’ stuff, from Sovitra." John grabbed the ring and opened it.
Taking out the stuff, he sent them to Becky.
Another ring, no danger. Even if it was, he had auto-defense on.
And last thing, a storage pouch.
He felt a twitch in his finger.
"Eh?" John paused. However, it didn’t feel as dangerous, and he had auto-defense on.
He opened the pouch.
A blinding light shot at him, an attack that shook space around him, but it posed no threat to him since it just diffused in sparks before even his auto-defense turned on.
But right after that, sothing else also shot out of the pouch, a tiny magical needle.
John saw it and acted instinctively, wanting to send it away through teleport, and his auto-defense also turned on.
However, in the next mont, the needle passed through everything as if nothing existed between it and John, and directly struck his neck before dissolving.
Grabbing his neck, John was bewildered. "What the fuck..."
