The mont the Lockham family’s Sovereign-rank Tar barked, everyone’s pupils enlarged, entering extre focus.
Those who were not part of the sche stayed still, not doing anything.
Multiple auras instantly flared into the air as everyone took out artifacts, but for starters, six lights, which were single-target extre debuff and impairnt effects, shot out from six different artifacts.
The mont these six hit him, Mr. Sirius would be paralyzed, his soul energy would beco poisoned, rendering him unable to teleport using soul energy, and his consciousness would be rattled, making it impossible for him to use storage items or any other items that didn’t require soul energy to activate.
Ti had seemingly slowed in these powerhouses’ minds as they were in extre focus, watching the six lights shooting at Mr. Sirius.
Mr. Sirius’ eyes and head had also moved as he reacted, but with this sudden ambush, there was no way for him to react.
It would be a different story if he were a Legendary-rank powerhouse because Legendary-rank powerhouses could use a technique of escaping with their higher reaction power, but Mr. Sirius was not at Legendary-rank.
Fools.
He wasn’t even at Sovereign-rank.
And yet, ti...seemingly...stopped.
The six lights were not going further!
They stopped 50 centiters away from Mr. Sirius!
Everyone blinked, but then they realized...they were frozen.
Their minds were active. They could see and hear everything, but...everything else was completely frozen.
And when they saw the falling leaves mid-air completely still, they realized...that ti had indeed stopped, literally.
"Bad boys and girls."
Mr. Sirius stood up, and Azelis also moved. Glancing at everyone before stopping on the Lockham family group as her eyes turned icy.
’What’s going on?!’
’Ti stop?!’
’He also has Ti mastery?!’
’No, it can’t be powerful enough to stop ti like this. He must have an artifact or an array around this area, or both working together.’
’Our consciousness hasn’t frozen in ti, but everything else aside from two is frozen...’
"Well, if you all are guessing what I think you are guessing, you are right. I have stopped ti on this island, particularly for you all."
John had already installed sothing on this island beforehand. A safety asure.
In case he gets targeted by any kind of power, the ti of the floating island would stop for everyone except those he released.
The cost was 1000 Molding Essence per second, but he currently had six million, so he could afford an hour of ti freeze, and still have three million Molding Essence remaining.
Naturally, he wasn’t going to take that long.
"This is what I don’t like about humans." Mr. Sirius sighed.
John walked past the people while Azelis left the pavilion and stood several ters away.
The Sovereign-rank Tars saw him walking past them, while they were completely helpless, unable to do anything. Even if they wanted to use soul energy, it was also completely frozen.
All of them had everything of theirs completely frozen in ti except for their consciousness, which John left purposeful so they could hear and see him.
"Now then, what should I do?"
John looked at the Sovereign-rank Tars of the Jadelight clan and smiled. "Should I kill you all?"
The light of consciousness in everyone’s eyes shook. Those who saw his smile felt a chill as that cold smile showed he wasn’t really joking and was perfectly capable of ruining them.
With their current helpless situation, if Mr. Sirius wanted to kill them, he would only need to wave his hand.
An intense fear enveloped everyone.
They wanted to speak with Mr. Sirius, but there was no way to relay their words or thoughts to him, even if their consciousness was active.
Because ti has frozen, and they couldn’t send their thoughts outside of their consciousness.
The Duraians were internally sweating buckets. Though they were in the dark about this whole sche, they realized what others had planned shortly after the ti froze.
"Well, I am a rchant. Killing you all would be a waste. I know so demons elsewhere who would readily take human slaves."
Mr. Sirius continued walking leisurely as he spoke in such a tone as if he was talking about buying and selling vegetables when in fact, their very lives were in his hands.
"Well, I should allow you to express your thoughts first, right?"
Waving his hand, John made a bit of modification by commanding ’Allow others the use of Magic Whisper, and Magic Whisper only.’
There was no change in the cost of Molding Essence per second.
Everyone found themselves to be able to sense other consciousness, allowing them to use Magic Whisper to talk.
’Mr. Sirius, we had no idea about this sche.’
"Yes, I see it." Mr. Sirius nodded while smiling at Yalentra who had just spoken to him.
"I know not everyone was in combat mode. Aside from you Duraians, the people of Dreamforged Guild, Ouroboros Hall, and Razorshade Syndicate remained completely still while the rest swiftly entered combat, with all of their weapons and artifacts outside, their target being ."
"Nice," Mr. Sirius said while smiling as he looked at a mystical lantern with a silver and red mixed sparkling wisp inside. "I guess I’ll take it."
John stored away the artifact in his Storage.
The Spiritveil Sect’s Sovereign-rank Tar’s eyes were wide open as his artifact got stolen in front of his eyes.
"Actually, I’ll take everything."
Waving his hand, John targeted all weapons, artifacts, and armor they had equipped, teleporting them away and sending them to his Storage.
’Mr. Sirius. You are making a mistake.’
Lokham family’s Sovereign-rank leader coldly relayed.
’Don’t listen to him, Mr. Sirius. We were rely swayed by greed,’ Magnus Coin Consortium’s Sovereign-rank leader of this branch in this world said. ’Although I didn’t want to do this, we can’t stop others from doing it. But we have realized our mistake.’
"Is that so?"
John laughed before he icily grinned, his eyes on the Lockham family.
"Well, I want to see what kind of mistake I am making. Pray, tell."
’I know you can escape with your powers, so you better do that because our people are coming. And even if you have a ti freeze, it can’t remain active for eternity.’
’In the end, you are a Sovereign-rank Tar, in this Sovereign-rank limited world. Unless you want to get hunted to death, your only choice is to leave.’
’Unless you stop all this and return our artifacts. Then we can continue with the auction.’
John laughed his ass off with this one.
Azelis chuckled while shaking her head. "Idiots."
Hearing her, the Lockham family’s Loren snorted. ’Mr. Sirius, I suggest you hand over that bitch to us while you still have ti.’
"You all are really not afraid of death, eh?" John teleported, appearing right in front of Loren.
Pointing his finger at him in a gun gesture, John frostily said. "Alright, you’re the first one to go to hell."
In the next second, Loren vanished.
Everyone felt his presence disappearing.
Those who had him in their direct vision saw it happening.
’What did you do?! You better not have done anything to my son!’
"..." John appeared before Loren’s father, the Sovereign-rank head of the family, his expression speechless.
He stretched his right hand to his side and swung it.
*Paat!!*
The slap rang loudly.
It dealt no physical damage because John had no power to even scratch these Sovereign-rank Tars physically.
But the emotional damage he gave was plenty.
After that...
