All the mbers of the Pleiades Battle Maid were seated around a round table inside a room that exuded a holy aura. It had couches cluttered with fluffy toys, bean bags, shelves stocked with snacks, etc.

The room was called the Lounge, the common room for the sisters to co and chat. It contained things that all the sisters liked, like fluffy toys for CZ-2128, snacks for Lupusregina, tea sets for Narberal, etc.

"You look so darn happy, Fee-nee-chan!"

Lupus spoke while looking toward the wagging tail of Felicity, who was drinking tea.

"Did sothing happen between you and Lord Momon- Ah! I an, Lord Helios?"

She spoke in a teasing manner while trying to catch Felicity's tail. Due to them both being demi-humans, they were quite close to each other.

"Well, yes. Sothing did happen between us."

Felicity spoke in a small voice, but everyone at the table was able to hear her. And a visible blush was apparent on her cheeks.

"Don't keep us in suspense now; tell us everything!"

Lupus spoke while taking a sip from her cup. Rembering what happened yesterday, the blush on her cheek began to grow.

"How c-can I share sothing like that."

She spoke while trying to cover her face. Seeing Felicity's reaction, Lupus' grin grew wider; she moved her chair near Felicity and began speaking in a teasing manner.

"So I was right; it was sothing lewd."

"Stop teasing her, Lupusregina."

Yuri spoke in a stern tone while looking toward Lupus.

"You are no fun, Yuri-nee."

After this, they kept conversing among themselves about different topics, the majority of which revolved around Helios.

~Scene Change~

In the past few days, the cult was able to destroy one of the Corpus of the Abyss's bases and convert its inhabitants into undead. In total, the cult had over 10,000 undead, including 4 Skeletal Dragons.

Malachar, Narberal, and I were floating above the Azerlisia Mountains, where one of the key bases of the Corpus of the Abyss was located, and the cult with their massive army of undead was fast approaching it.

Based on the details shared by Xyris, a key mber of the organization nad Kunivela was also at this base. He happened to be a Night Lich.

"And here it begins," I said while seeing the start of the attack.

Xyris initiated the attack using a powerful 7th-tier spell. He joined his hands, and shortly after, a crackling of thunder ford around them.

As he separated his hands, the gathered thunder began coursing between them. A few monts later, he directed the thunder towards the base, which was an abandoned castle near the base of the mountains; the surroundings were covered in thick forest.

"*Chain Dragon Lightning*," Xyris spoke while directing the spell toward the base. Two massive dragons made of lightning traveled toward the entrance of the castle. However, just before they could reach it, they encountered an invisible protective barrier around the castle. This barrier absorbed their impact but eventually gave way.

'As I thought, the base was protected by a barrier,' Xyris thought while looking at the base. He then turned toward the mbers of the cults and began ordering them.

"Everyone, begin preparing your spells and attack when the enemy erges!"

The mbers began preparing their spells while Xyris and Khajiit ordered the elder liches to prepare their spells as well. Clentine was also standing on the frontlines, now wearing a more modest armor.

"They are on the move," She spoke while taking out her two Stilettos. The reason she was able to tell the movents of the enemy was because of the new job class she had received from her mistress, Hermione.

A few days back, when Nemu was able to use 1st-tier spells, I asked Hermione what she wanted as a reward. She asked for Clentine to be her secretary in the future, which surprised .

When I asked her for reasons, she told that she wanted to educate and experint on her.

To fulfill this request, I employed a skill from my previous life, ensuring that Clentine couldn't betray or disclose any information about Nazrick. If she ever attempted to do so, her soul would beco trapped inside an item I had given to Hermione.

The job class Clentine received from Hermione was a ranger-type class called Shadow Ranger. This was one of the above-average job classes. And the reason Hermione gave it to her was for experintation.

I suggested this experint; I wanted to see whether there was a hard limit placed on the levels of humans in this world. Because all the powerful humans never went above level 50, that is not taking Godkins into account.

According to my hypothesis, even the 10th seat of the Black Scripture, known as The Strongest Human, didn't surpass the level 50 limit.

This was most likely due to the faulty implentation of the Leveling PTP in the NW, and I wanted to see whether Clentine would be able to naturally surpass this limit or not.

"Get ready, everyone; here they co," Xyris shouted while preparing his spell. A few seconds later, hordes of undead exited the castle.

"NOW!" Xyris shouted while unleashing his spell; following his lead, all the mbers and Elder Liches also unleashed theirs on the horde of undead.

Clentine subrged into the shadows and kept attacking the undead from their shadows. The initial barrage of the spells was able to cull through the number of undead. However, a considerable amount still remained.

Seeing the situation, Xyris ordered their undead to attack the enemies, and due to the superior quality of their undead, they were able to destroy the enemies in a short while.

"The real challenge begins now," Khajiit spoke while approaching the entrance of the castle.

"Yeah, due to the narrow entrance, we won't be able to take our undead inside, and we don't have ti to wait for them outside," Xyris agreed to Khajiit and also gave his interpretation in a grim voice.

Khajiit turned toward Clentine, who was now standing beside him, and spoke;

"Clentine, go inside and scout out the layout; we'll wait for you outside."

Hearing this, Clentine nodded without looking toward Khajiit and subrged into shadows.

"I still can't detect her movents when she's in the shadows," Xyris spoke with a resigned sigh.

" neither," Khajiit concurred.

~Scene Change~

In a room that looked like an abandoned throne room, many undead were conversing among themselves.

"Hiding here is pointless; let's go out and face them. With two of us, we can easily take them down."

The speaker was Kunivela, a core mber of the Corpus of the Abyss. He had a partially skeletal appearance, with patches of decaying flesh still clinging to his form. One of his eye sockets held a visible eye, and his entire body exhibited a similar pattern. Through gaps in his bones, you could glimpse so of his remaining rotting organs.

"We can't risk it; they also have two Night Liches. Even for us, it would be a difficult fight, and that is not taking into account the woman with the Stilettos."

The one who spoke had a clean skeletal form, with white bones and zero flesh on his body. A stark contrast to Kunivela. His na was Krunui Log Entesh Na.

"So, what do you suggest?" Kunivela spoke with indignation.

"We should contact the headquarters and wait for reinforcents," Krunui spoke while sitting in one of the chairs around the throne.

"Are you dumb? The headquarters is three days away from here. Do you really think that they are going to wait till then?" Kunivela spoke while smashing his fists on the armrests of the throne, which broke as a result.

"That's the best option we have; I don't think we can win this alone. Did you not notice that they were able to counter our reconnaissance spell?"

Krunui spoke while folding his arms and taking a leisurely posture on the chair.

"Send in the other mbers to guard the corridors leading toward the throne room; if they encounter anyone, they should contact us. I'll contact the headquarters for reinforcents."

Clentine was hiding in one of the shadows of the throne room.

'This sounds important. There is not one Night Lich, but two. Better bring this information back to Khajiit.'

Thinking this, she began traveling back toward the entrance. She had already scouted the layout of the interiors and knew the shortest path to the entrance.

It took her a few minutes to reach the outside. Once there, she told everything to Khajiit and Xyris.

"What do you suggest we do?" Xyris spoke, looking toward Khajiit.

"We have a high-level undead," Khajiit spoke while looking toward one of the undeads summoned by Helios. It was a Soul Eater, a horse-like undead with yellow flas erging from its skeletal body.

In Yggdrasil, it was known as mid-tier undead. Still, in the NW, like everything, it was considered a powerful undead capable of destroying nations.

"No, I don't think that's wise. We should save them for Granz. Even with us all, I don't think we can beat her."

Xyris spoke with anger in his tone.

"I think we should enter the castle with so of our elites. You, Clentine, and I will handle the people in the throne room while our elites will handle the rest."

He spoke while looking toward the castle's entrance.

"Then that is what we will do."

Saying this, he began walking toward the rest of the mbers of the cult. Xyris and Clentine also began following him.

~Scene Change~

A few minutes later, a group of 15 was standing before the castle's entrance. The people they chose to bring were once the core mbers of Zurrernorn. So of the mbers were Elder Liches.

"Let's go."

Khajiit spoke while the rest nodded their heads and entered the castle. The interior was dark; one of the mbers used *Continual Light* to light it up.

They kept traversing the corridors for a short while, before they encountered the first set of enemies.

"Attack them!"

One of the enemies shouted while pointing his staff toward the Khajiit and the others. A second later, a volley of spells flew toward the latter.

"Not so fast," One of the mbers of the Khajiit's group spoke before enacting a barrier, which absorbed all the spells aid at them.

"Now, it's our turn."

4 of the mbers began attacking the enemies with their spells. A short few seconds later, all the enemies were killed.

"Let's keep going, and rember to conserve your MP."

Khajiit spoke while taking the lead of the group.

The group kept advancing through the corridors due to the information of Clentine; they were able to avoid traps and dead ends. But, even so, it took them an hour to reach the throne room. The reason was that they had to take breaks to recover their MP.

At the mont, they were standing before the broken throne room's doors. Without wasting ti, the group entered the throne room.

"Welco, gentlen, to your death."
