Chloe Johnson had not contacted him either.
Arnold Johnson thought that things between them should be just like this.

Arnold stopped beside her, didn’t respond, and waited for her to continue.
Seeing him like this, Chloe looked at him with a smile, a shy and extrely excited expression, and said, “Arnold, we’re going to be parents soon!”
Indeed! This was undoubtedly a bombshell!
Arnold thought he had misheard.
Chloe, taking his hand boldly and with initiative, added again, “Arnold, I’m pregnant with your child, you’re going to be a father, isn’t that exciting?”

Isn’t that a joke?
Chloe pregnant with his child, how could it be possible!
Having reacted, Arnold quickly withdrew his hand and calmly replied to Chloe, “I won’t acknowledge this child. How she ca to be, you know it better than anyone. You should know what to do about such things without having to spell it out.”
His ruthless and indifferent words made Chloe involuntarily step back two paces.
Her lips quivered slightly as she said, “Arnold, I don’t understand, what do you an by that?”
“Literally,” Arnold said indifferently.
Forcing herself to be calm, Chloe said, “Arnold, I only ca to tell you this news. I never thought about making you promise anything. I was just hoping that you would be a little happy to hear this news. I will take good care of our child and raise him to adulthood…”
Arnold didn’t want to listen to a single word she said and interrupted her directly, “Chloe, do you really want this child?”
Why? Why would he ask this?
Chloe firmly responded, “Of course, I’ve always wanted a child that belongs to us, and now my wish has finally co true.”
As she spoke, Chloe also showed a happy smile.
Seeing her forced endurance and fake laughter, Arnold didn’t even bother to expose her thoughts; a woman who lived in a dream she conjured up and couldn’t wake from, he didn’t know how nor did he wish to save her.
“What you want is your business, but I won’t acknowledge it,” Arnold said coldly.
