Chapter 938: Just the two of us are eating together. Chapter 938: Just the two of us are eating together. He glanced at the noodles, then at Victoria Garcia, and Edward Hernandez couldn’t help but sniff the noodles again—they were quite fragrant.

These were already his best specialty, and he had eaten them many tis himself, really not bad at all. So why did she feel like vomiting just by slling them?

Morning sickness really is terrifying.

While she was vomiting, Edward Hernandez quietly carried the noodles to the kitchen, fearing she would feel nauseous again if she saw or slled them later.

By the ti Edward Hernandez ca out of the kitchen, Victoria Garcia had also erged from the bathroom.

Having eaten nothing, the only thing Victoria could vomit was water.

After vomiting, Victoria just lay down on the couch.

Edward Hernandez handed her a water cup and said, “Have so water to moisten your throat.”

Victoria answered with a simple, “Thank you!”

Seeing her lose weight, Edward Hernandez watched with a heart full of pity.

“You can’t go on without eating. Tell , what would you like to have? If it’s possible to make, I’ll help you make it, and if not, I’ll buy it for you, okay?” Edward Hernandez continued to persuade her.

Victoria looked at his earnest deanor; when this man was stubborn, he was really stubborn.

But she truly didn’t crave anything.

“Maybe you can go and get so soy milk and fried dough sticks,” Victoria finally said.

Hearing that she wanted to eat sothing, even if it wasn’t particularly healthy, Edward Hernandez was very pleased and responded with a smile before imdiately leaving the room.

Victoria watched this ticulous man, feeling slightly moved in her heart.

She then closed her eyes, thinking she might sleep for a while.

Victoria didn’t know how long she had been dozing off, but before she could fall asleep, the doorbell rang.

Thinking it was Edward Hernandez returning with soy milk and fried dough sticks, she got up without a second thought and opened the door.

However, the person who appeared in front of her was not the face of Edward Hernandez, but that of Arnold Johnson.

Victoria instinctively wanted to close the door, but Arnold Johnson held it firmly in place.

“Is there sothing you need?” Victoria asked softly.

Arnold Johnson, without thinking, placed his hand on her forehead; the warmth of his palm imdiately transferred through her skin to her nerves.

After a mont of agitation, Victoria quickly turned her head away, and naturally, Arnold’s hand dropped.

“You look pale. Are you feeling unwell?” Arnold Johnson’s deep and gentle voice reached her.

Victoria responded in a soft voice, “Nothing serious, just skipped breakfast. But Paul has already gone to buy so.”

Hearing her ntion Paul at the end, Arnold Johnson felt a sharp pang of irritation.

Without a second thought, he stepped into Victoria’s house, saying directly, “Well, I haven’t had breakfast either this morning. When he cos back, it would be perfect for us to eat together.”

“…”

If Arnold Johnson wanted to be shaless, he really could stick around and not leave.

Victoria didn’t bother to deal with him and continued to rest with her eyes closed.

Not long after she shut her eyes, Edward Hernandez returned with the food in his hands.

Edward Hernandez did not expect to see not only Victoria but also Arnold Johnson inside. He appeared a bit unhappy, but he quickly got the emotion under control.

“I didn’t expect Mr. Johnson to be here as well.”

“Yeah, I just ca to scrounge for so food. What did Mr. Hernandez bring that’s tasty?” Arnold Johnson said unabashedly.

With a bag full of goods, Edward Hernandez couldn’t claim there wasn’t enough even if he wanted to.

He offered a rueful smile and pretended to welco him, “See if there’s anything Mr. Johnson fancies.”

Soon, the table was set with fried dough sticks, soybean milk, soup dumplings…
