Chapter 808: You’re hiding sothing. Chapter 808: You’re hiding sothing. As the two discussed these matters here, they never once considered whether it was necessary to take into account Alia Wilson’s feelings. Was it fair to her?

Robert Taylor and Richard Robinson were only thinking of what was most beneficial, most convenient, and most selfish for themselves…

After a good night’s sleep, Alia Wilson’s cold had almost cleared up.

Upon waking, Victoria Garcia went to check on Alia in her room, extending a hand to feel her forehead before saying, “Mmm, your fever has almost subsided.”

“Elder Sister, I’m feeling pretty good. The fever ca on quickly, but it’s leaving just as fast,” Alia Wilson replied with a smile, her tone noticeably lighter.

Victoria Garcia knew that Alia wasn’t telling the whole truth about so things, so she wanted to get to the bottom of it.

“Ava, about what you said last night concerning Robert Taylor, what exactly is going on?” Victoria Garcia wasn’t being nosy; she wanted to know if Robert Taylor’s actions could harm her sister.

So, after thinking it over all night, she felt she had to get it straight; otherwise, she couldn’t rest easy.

“You’re furrowing your brow so much, you look like soone who can’t help but worry!” Alia teased her with a laugh.

Could she not worry? Once their mother passed away, she beca like a mother in her role as the elder sister, right!

“Since you know I’m worried, then tell everything,” Victoria insisted, looking at her seriously.

Seeing that Victoria was so concerned, Alia decided not to keep hiding the truth. After all, she refrained from discussing many issues with her younger sisters because they didn’t know the full situation and she didn’t want them to fret needlessly.

It was different with Victoria; as the elder sister, Alia didn’t want her to worry either, but she could tell Victoria wouldn’t be easily deceived.

“Robert Taylor has cancer and has at most two months to live,” Alia Wilson shared the news she had received yesterday with Victoria Garcia.

Unsurprisingly, Victoria Garcia was just as shocked as Alia had been when she first heard the news.

Quickly.

Victoria then calmly asked, “Did he know about his cancer from the beginning, or was it a sudden discovery?”

This point was critical.

Typical of Victoria Garcia, she imdiately zeroed in on the crucial issue.

“Judging from what the doctor said, he must have known early on. It’s just that it has deteriorated so fast recently that he doesn’t have much ti left,” Alia replied truthfully.

Victoria continued, “Ava, did Robert ever tell you about this?”

It was just to confirm, so Victoria wasn’t holding out much hope.

As expected, Alia shook her head, “If I hadn’t accidentally found out this information, there’s no way I would have known he has cancer.”

“Thinking about this just infuriates . Can you believe that knowing he didn’t have long to live, he still pursued so relentlessly? Isn’t that harming ?”

Alia couldn’t make sense of it, her frustration growing as she continued, “Before he started pursuing , I really didn’t know him at all, I hadn’t even seen him before. Yet, he chased after saying he wanted to marry , even ntioning he wanted to have a child with as an heir, just because I am beautiful!”

“I admit I am beautiful, but surely there are others in the world more beautiful than . I made it abundantly clear that I rejected him, yet he persisted in his intentions to marry —what could he possibly be after? Does it really just boil down to having beautiful children because of my looks?”

As she was talking, Alia suddenly recalled sothing and quickly added, “Oh, right. When Robert and I were playing ‘Truth or Dare’ once, he claid he wanted to marry to get back at Harry Collins because apparently, I was once Harry’s woman. Do you think that’s true?”
