Chapter 713: Arnold Johnson’s Desire 3 Chapter 713: Arnold Johnson’s Desire 3 Arnold naturally had his own thoughts, and after hearing Victoria’s words, he simply said, “Let’s see.”
He didn’t want to monitor Victoria 24 hours a day, but he always felt that danger was approaching. It was just a hunch, and he didn’t know where the danger would co from.
Of course, deep down he was still wary of Grand Lady Johnson and Chloe, but he was unwilling to say it.
“So once we’re married, can I get rid of it?” Victoria casually asked.
Upon hearing this, Arnold laughed and said, “Why, has Madam changed her mind? Do you want to marry now?”
“I’m just saying, it’s not for real.”
Being Madam is not an easy task.
“But I’m serious. What should I do?” Arnold asked himself rhetorically.
Victoria sat on the side, watching the sky get darker and darker. The evening’s fading light made the city more beautiful, and her heart felt extrely content and happy.
“What should we eat?” Victoria asked thoughtfully.
That conversation changed quickly.
“Let’s have Western cuisine, what do you say?” Arnold suggested.
“It’s been a long ti since I’ve had it, let’s go!” Victoria was in a good mood and felt whatever he suggested would be delicious.
Victoria didn’t ask where they’re going to eat because she knew Arnold would definitely take her to a place where they could enjoy good Western cuisine.
The car drove for less than fifteen minutes and stopped at the entrance of a Western restaurant.
Since the two left work early, it wasn’t dinner ti yet, so there weren’t many people present.
“Let’s just sit in the lobby,” Victoria suggested.
Always sitting in a private room could get dull.
“Sure, whatever you want.”
Arnold held her hand as they walked to the second floor and found a seat next to a window. Less than fifteen minutes after they had ordered, a familiar figure unexpectedly entered the restaurant.
Victoria and Arnold were both surprised to see Chloe here, even more so that she had a man by her side.
The man was handso, not short, wore glasses, and looked scholarly.
Chloe was also visibly surprised and sowhat embarrassed at seeing the two of them, but she still gracefully walked up and greeted them, “Arnold, Miss Garcia, hello!”
The weather was warm, and Chloe was wearing a beige pleated skirt with a dark green knit cardigan, which accentuated her temperant and made her look more gentle and ladylike.
As Victoria returned Chloe’s friendly smile, Chloe also looked at Victoria.
Victoria looked like she had just left the office, wearing a gray professional suit. However, her slightly exaggerated earrings made her stand out from the crowd and look lively.
“Let introduce you, this is Kevin,” Chloe pointed to the male friend beside her.
Upon hearing Chloe introduce him, Kevin took the initiative to greet them.
Kevin was a very talkative person, and lively upon first eting. He even suggested sharing a table, saying it was a rare chance to et Chloe’s friends.
Since he proposed it, Arnold naturally couldn’t refuse.
Besides, the table they were sitting at was for four people anyway.
“Chloe and I t at a wine party. The first ti I saw her, I was stunned. Her temperant was like a piece of zither music, beautiful, elegant, and profound, instantly captivating ,” Kevin openly talked about how he t Chloe.
