Chapter 63: Retaliation and Being Retaliated Against 5 Chapter 63: Retaliation and Being Retaliated Against 5 Victoria Garcia felt her clothes being torn apart one by one by a pair of disgusting hands. Looking at those inhumane people, she closed her eyes in despair.

In her mind, there was nothing but impenetrable dark clouds, suffocating her with their weight.

This mont of darkness, permanently ingrained in her mind…

Just when she’d given up all hope, the heavy and rusted warehouse iron door was smashed open from the outside, and people storming in, each ard with a weapon.

In the dim light, Victoria forced her eyes open, only to find a sea of unfamiliar faces.

The Leading Man wore a hat, concealing his appearance. Victoria intuitively felt that he was soone important.

The man, called Jesse Rodriguez, stepped forward with a bow and scrape, “Mr. Carter, what brings you here? You just have to give the word, and I’ll take care of it.”

Watching his groveling, they were definitely in it together.

Victoria only hoped that all this could stall a bit longer, a small glimr of hope flickered within her.

The man known as Mr. Carter removed his hat with one hand, revealing a well-featured face that belied his title, he did not look more than thirty at all.

Mr. Carter seed not at all bothered by Jesse Rodriguez’s flattery, pulling out his phone and dialed a number.

He constantly spoke into the phone, “Found Jesse Rodriguez.”

“In an abandoned warehouse at the southern foot of Red Maple Mountain.”

“Hmm…” Mr. Carter glanced at Victoria and then at Harry Collins, “A man and a woman, the woman… seems okay…”

Whatever the person on the other end of the phone said, Mr. Carter appeared to change his expression several tis.

After he hung up, Mr. Carter kicked Jesse Rodriguez, demanding, “This woman, what’s her condition? Who has touched her just now?”

As soon as he finished speaking, everyone’s gaze fell on Fatty.

Seeing Mr. Carter’s sudden fury, Fatty was scared out of his wits.

He stamred at Mr. Carter, “Mr. Carter, I… I haven’t… haven’t yet touched her…”

“Besides, we’re just doing a job, our client gave us this task,” Fatty imdiately shifted the bla to the Third Young Master Collins.

When Harry Collins heard his na ntioned and looked at the formidable crowd in front of him, he knew there was no way he could escape.

Mr. Carter scanned Harry Collins with his sharp eyes.

“According to the rules of the underworld, I’ve not violated any. I paid, you work, are you saying this interferes with your boss’s affairs?” Harry Collins was not afraid. While he wasn’t part of the underworld, the Collins family were not ones to be trifled with.

Mr. Carter only gave him a cold glance and didn’t even bother to spare him a word.

This direct disregard, to Harry Collins, was a humiliation.

But under these circumstances, he could only swallow his outrage.

Jesse Rodriguez got back on his feet and asked, “Mr. Carter, what’s gotten you so worked up?”

Looking at Jesse Rodriguez, Mr. Carter gave a frosty reply, “This ti, you’re a dead man.”
