Chapter 393: Who is actually using whom 5 Chapter 393: Who is actually using whom 5 Roger Bennett’s phone rang. Glancing at the screen, he realized it was a call from Arnold Johnson—much more rapid than he had anticipated. It looked like Victoria was more important to Arnold than Bennett first thought.
“Kinsley Perez is with now, when are you going to release Victoria?” Arnold got straight to the point.
A grin crept onto Bennett’s face. “I want to speak with Kinsley.”
He couldn’t afford any sips in his attention. If Johnson was pulling so trick up his sleeve, and the whereabouts of Victoria were revealed, Bennett knew he would lose his advantage.
Suppressing his irritation, Arnold spat out a single word: “Fine!”
Having said that, Arnold handed the phone to Kinsley, who accepted it lazily and then murmured, “Roger Bennett, this is Kinsley.”
Hearing the very familiar voice, Bennett was overwheld with excitent, anxiously calling out her na, “Kinsley, Kinsley, is that really you?”
“Of course, genuine and unfaked,” Kinsley laughed.
“Are you doing well?”
Kinsley laughed even harder, “I’m doing great, every morning I manage to crawl off a man.”
“Kinsley… you’re breaking my heart.”
“Well, show your heart when we et. If it’s red, I’ll eat it, if it’s black, I’ll feed it to the dogs.”
“Kinsley, you’re still mad at .” Bennett’s grip on the phone tightened.
She casually retorted, “I don’t hate you, I just need sothing to do when I’m with you because sleeping with you is boring. After seeing more n, I realize just how dull you are in bed.”
“You…” Bennett could feel his eyes burn with rage.
“No worries, I’ll hang up now, after all, I’m just a bargaining chip in your deal with Arnold.” After finishing her sentence, Kinsley tossed the phone back to Arnold.
Arnold took the phone, his tone icy, “Tell when and where. I’ve brought the person you want. Your move now. You know, I’m not a patient man.”
“One hour later, at Autumn Mountain Warehouse!”
As soon as Bennett finished speaking, he and Johnson hung up simultaneously.
“To Autumn Mountain Warehouse, let’s go!”
“Arnold, you really decided to hand over to that old fox, Roger Bennett?” Kinsley joked as they walked.
Arnold responded calmly, “What has that old fox got on you? You’re a fox spirit yourself, are you still afraid of him?”
“Talk like that really pleases ,” Kinsley laughed, her sweet dimples appearing, making her doll-like face look just like a college student.
Having said that, Arnold called those at Autumn Harvest and others headed their way to et him at Autumn Mountain Warehouse. He didn’t trust Bennett one bit.
The whole way, he drove like a pilot in an air race—full speed.
Several sharp turns later, Kinsley couldn’t help but chastise him, “Can’t you keep your composed image in my mind for once? Getting all worried about a girl is so unlike you!”
“Don’t you think this is even more charming?”
“Holy smokes! It’s only been two years and you’ve totally changed,” Kinsley exclaid with wide innocent eyes, “Later, I must take a good look at this Victoria, to see whether she looks different from regular won.”
“…”
Only soone as sassy as Kinsley could pull off saying sothing like that. Arnold never bothers to debate with such a woman. Instead, he only drove faster.
Kinsley couldn’t help but scream out and curse Arnold once more for his lack of humanity.
