“Where’s Mrs.Taylor?” Victoria asked, confused.
“She had sothing to do and left earlier,” Arnold replied.
Victoria sat up, shook her head, and said blankly, “Did I fall asleep? But I was clearly talking to Mrs.Taylor.”
“During your conversation, Mrs.Taylor helped you calm down, so she let you rest for a bit, and now that you’re awake, everything should be fine,” Arnold said as he sat next to her.
“What did Mrs.Taylor say? Am I sick?” Victoria asked nervously while looking at Arnold.
Arnold shook his head and said, “Mrs.Taylor said you’re not sick.”
“Really?” Victoria exclaid joyfully, but her delight quickly turned to worry. “If I’m not sick, why do I keep experiencing those situations?”
Arnold took her hand, looked into her eyes, and told the truth, “Mrs.Taylor said you were likely under hypnosis.”
“Hypnosis?” Victoria was shocked, with a puzzled look in her eyes. “I’ve never t anyone involved with hypnosis, nor have I ever thought about being hypnotized. What’s going on?”
Before Arnold could ask, Victoria had already voiced her doubts.
This was the difficult part!
“Over the years, have you t any special people, spent a lot of ti with them, or been with strangers for over an hour?” Arnold tried to help her recall.
Victoria tried hard to rember, mumbling, “Special people? Strangers?”
After much thought, Victoria didn’t think there was a problem. If she had to suspect everyone, then she felt that everyone was suspicious.
“I really don’t know, I have no reaction at all, and I can’t rember any special people or strangers,” she said.
Arnold also knew that this kind of thing was probably difficult.

Otherwise, if they couldn’t find the person behind the hypnosis, he would not feel at ease. Victoria was also within soone else’s control, and this uncontrollable power was too terrifying.
Victoria had also thought that the person capable of using this hypnosis skill was likely soone who was interested in her, but she couldn’t recall ever giving such an opportunity to n she wasn’t interested in.
