Chapter 361: He has his own destination 7 Chapter 361: He has his own destination 7 By the ti Candy Foster entered her office, Victoria Garcia couldn’t help but ask, “Ery, what has Nicholas Garcia been up to these days?”

Candy, with a mysterious smile, said, “General Garcia, can you guess?”

“Did he accidentally kill himself while being chased by debt collectors from the Underground Gambling House?” Victoria smirked.

Candy put the files on her desk, shook her head and laughed, “He didn’t die, but he’s more miserable than death, many tis over.”

“Is he permanently disabled?” Victoria blurted out.

“I guess it’s not far from being disabled.” Candy replied with a grin.

Arnold Johnson flashed through Victoria’s mind, and she imdiately asked, “Did Arnold order you guys to do this?”

Upon hearing that, Candy shook her head vigorously, “I didn’t ntion this to Director Johnson. It shouldn’t be his doing. It’s just that Nicholas is too lucky. Yesterday he t Stewart.”

“Stewart? Who is Stewart?” Victoria couldn’t help but ask curiously.

So, Candy described to Victoria who Stewart was, and how she too had overheard Arthur talking about him just the night before.

“That’s called retribution for the wicked.” Candy said excitedly, “Now, without us even lifting a finger, Nicholas poses no threat at all. Once he enters Stewart’s lair, ninety-nine out of a hundred never co out. And even if they do, they’re complete invalids.”

“He’s really lucky then.” Victoria murmured to herself. Everything really seed like a coincidence, even the heavens couldn’t bear it anymore.

“General Garcia, don’t worry. Nicholas can’t cause any trouble now. As for Clara Brown and Mia Garcia, they can’t even protect themselves now, let alone target you. They have no attack power at all. But rest assured, they’ve been under surveillance by Arnold’s people.”

“Why did Arnold suddenly start monitoring them?” Victoria asked.

Candy shook her head and said, “When has Director Johnson ever played by the rules? I only found out yesterday when Arthur accidentally ntioned it. I guess Director Johnson is concerned about your safety, and those two caused a commotion at a Board of Directors eting last ti.”

Such an explanation was reasonable.

Since she followed Arnold, many things have gone surprisingly smoothly. In less than a year, she regained control of the company, Terry Garcia went where he deserved, and as for the others who had offended them, they didn’t fare any better.

He had once promised her that once the company returned to her hands, he would give it as her dowry.

Suddenly, Victoria thought of this and felt her ears becoming irritated.

Victoria quickly told Candy, “Ery, move the 4 pm eting to 3 pm today. I have to leave work on ti today.”

“Sure, do you have a date with Arnold Johnson?” Candy teased.

“Today is my sister’s movie premiere. It’s her first ti playing the lead role, so I have to go and see.” Victoria explained.

But, would Arnold show up?

Suddenly having this thought, Victoria felt that she must have been sleeping poorly lately. Otherwise, why would she associate everything with him?

“Go back and gather the eting materials again for !” Victoria said quickly, and at the sa ti, she started going through the files on the side.

Seeing this, Candy left the office.

When Victoria saw her leave, she finally let out a long sigh of relief…
