Chapter 332: Based on what 2 Chapter 332: Based on what 2 After that, Alia replied in agreent, “Let the others deal with her like the miserable losers they are. Dog eat dog, that’s just the way it is!”
“Exactly!” Henry Campbell agreed wholeheartedly.
Mia Garcia wanted to chase after them, but she knew deep down that she was no match for the two of them, so she stomped her feet in anger, swearing she would never let Alia and her family off the hook.
Once they left the hospital, Alia got into the nanny car under Henry’s protection.
Alia lay comfortably in the car, feeling exceptionally good and humming a tune without realizing it.
However, Henry’s attitude changed completely, and he said coldly to Alia, “Have you ever thought about what you would do if the Paparazzi had caught you tearing into Mia just now?”
“There were no paparazzi there,” Alia replied softly.
In the short ti I wasn’t with you, you made a scene like that. Do you want to confine you like other agents do with their artists? When will you grow up? You’re not a nobody in the industry anymore!” Henry’s voice was cold and resolute.
Alia could understand Henry’s feelings, but she had her own difficulties. She could endure anyone else, but not Mia Garcia. How could she keep calm in front of her?
“I knew a bit about your family situation before I took you on. So if you want to beco a true A-tier celebrity, you need to put those old stories behind you. In public, always remind yourself that you’re a public figure, and be mindful of your words and actions. There’s no such thing as freedom in this industry – it’s the price you’ll have to pay for choosing this path.” Henry said, obviously irritated by her behavior.
Henry still had high hopes for Alia’s talents, and her career was on the rise. However, her lack of discretion would eventually be captured by the dia and beco a public joke. Once a scandal like that broke, it wouldn’t be easy to suppress and she would lose her hard-earned fa.
“I’ll be more careful in the future, I promise!” Alia quickly admitted she was wrong in front of Henry, never refuting him when he was angry and criticizing her.
Seeing her cunning eyes twinkling, Henry beca even more annoyed.
Every ti, she’d apologize to his face, but then she’d forget all about her promises as soon as she turned around.
“Don’t be so quick to apologize to . Go ho and write a 10,000-word reflection. If you can’t write it, don’t even think about starting another gig!” This ti, Henry was determined to “discipline” Alia.
Hearing that she had to write a reflection – and a 10,000-word one at that – Alia felt like she was seeing stars. She hated language arts and especially hated writing essays. Writing a 1,000-2,000-word essay could drive her insane, so writing a 10,000-word reflection felt like a death sentence.
“Let’s negotiate and maybe change the way I apologize?” Alia treaded carefully, “Like doing the dishes, cooking, ironing clothes, and such. I’m good at those things, and it’s more interesting to have a future superstar do them, don’t you think?”
Henry gave her a cold, disdainful look and insisted, “Choose one of two options: either write a 10,000-word reflection, pass my review, and stay by my side, or don’t write the reflection, or write it but fail to et my standards, and leave to find soplace else!”
