“I won’t let go! How dare you touch my stuff, this is all mine, get lost!” Mia Garcia yelled angrily: “What, are we back in Ancient Tis when confiscating household property is allowed? Even back then, won were allowed to take their dowry, what right do you have to seize my things!”
Seeing her daughter like this, Clara Brown joined in, “Yeah, you claim to be here to protect the people, but you’re stealing from us! Do you officials have no sha? Robbing a mother and her daughter in broad daylight, are you even n? Are you even human?!”
“These two crazy won!” one of the officers cursed, “Get lost! Don’t force to use force!”
Mia was brazenly defiant: “Well, go ahead and use force! Hit , best if you leave crippled, so people can see what you police are really like—taking taxpayer’s money just to beat them!”
Clara Brown knew that her daughter was desperately trying to protect the jewelry.
Of course, these valuables, even if they were sold, would be worth tens of millions. If they didn’t fight for it, they’d have nothing left.
Clara mustered all her strength to shield the jewelry, and the officers were not to be outdone; seeing the two won’s resistance, they resorted to stronger force.

The two hesitated whether to let go when another gunshot rang out, the bullet landing near them, scaring them into dropping the suitcase.
If they were really shot, they’d end up crippled even if they didn’t die, which wouldn’t be worth it.
“As long as we have a solid foundation, we don’t have to worry about lack of resources. We’ll use legal thods to get these things back,” Mia had to let go, even if she was unwilling.
Clara didn’t dare to cause any more trouble and followed Mia away.
The mother and daughter left the villa, both looking at each other, seeing the bitterness and haggardness on each other’s faces, both of them feeling as if they had just lost a battle, their hearts sinking to the bottom.
Nevertheless, Mia asked, “The shareholding book of the group isn’t in the suitcase, right?”
Clara held a small bag tightly in her hand, saying, “I’m keeping it on !”
Mia, seeing that the shareholding book was still there, imdiately breathed a sigh of relief. As long as the foundation for a coback is still there, there’s nothing to fear…
