Chapter 308: Murderous Intentions 4 Chapter 308: Murderous Intentions 4 Four million, for a ordinary nurse who makes no more than ten thousand a month, this is really an astronomical figure. With this money, she could solve many of the problems currently plaguing her.
But at the sa ti, Lynda also understood that this four million might not be so easy to co by and could be hot to handle.
She instinctively put her finger in her mouth, a habitual action of hers, indicating her hesitation and reluctance to give up on this matter.
“Four million, can take care of the two million high-interest debts you owe from gambling, and the remaining two million you can use as you please.”
As for how this two million gambling debt was accumulated, Terry Garcia didn’t care.
These days, Lynda was indeed being driven mad. She had an unreliable boyfriend who left her in a hole she couldn’t fill. He dumped all the debt on her and disappeared. The repaynt day was soon approaching, and she had even prepared herself to be sold off…
“What do you want to do?” Even though she knew it wouldn’t be sothing good, she still asked.
Terry spoke very directly, “A girl nad Victoria Garcia who was in a car accident was admitted to your hospital yesterday. The doctor said that if she doesn’t wake up in the next few days, she might never wake up again.”
Lynda didn’t make a sound, silently waiting for what he was going to say next.
“What I want you to do is to make sure ‘might never wake up’ becos ‘will never wake up’.”
Lynda suddenly felt a chilling cold from Terry’s voice. His words ant that he was asking her to murder soone.
Though she often dealt with the dead, she had never personally killed soone before.
Lynda’s finger went into her mouth again, her teeth biting down gently. It wasn’t exactly painful, but it wasn’t painless either.
Seeing her hesitation, Terry gently reminded her, “Ti is running out, you best think carefully!”
“As long as you agree, I can give you a check for two million first. Once the deed is done, I will give you the remaining two million.” Terry continued to tempt her, “I believe, with all your years of experience, it shouldn’t be too hard to make a little adjustnt in your own familiar territory. It’s probably the only chance in your life to earn four million so easily.”
What Terry was saying, she knew too well.
But murder was not a simple matter.
“If you find it hard to overco this psychologically, you can think of it this way. Victoria Garcia is soone who is already on the brink of death. You’re only helping her to step over the threshold, so she doesn’t have to suffer. You’re helping her take her other foot through the Ghost Gate early”, he whispered in her ear, “because she is soone who is going to die anyways.”
Listening to his words, Lynda couldn’t help but ask, “May I ask, Mr. Garcia, have you ever killed anyone?”
Terry stretched out his hands. His fingers were long, slender, and clean. He chuckled, “My hands have never been stained with anyone else’s blood.”
“Mr. Garcia, your hands are indeed clean.”
“Thanks for the praise!”
During their conversation, Lynda also extended her own finger, looking at it intently. Her soft, supple fingers, the nails trimd flat…
“Aren’t you afraid that if I refuse, I might betray you?” Lynda asked surprisingly.
Terry reached out to lift her chin, smiling in response, “No, because I’m certain you’ll agree.”
Under such circumstances, she could either choose to agree, or choose to be sold off to clients by her high-interest debt collectors in a week…
