Chapter 303: Out of the blue disaster Chapter 303: Out of the blue disaster When Victoria Garcia returned to the company, she was t with another barrage of astonished looks.
“Hello, Vice President Garcia!”
“Welco back!”
“Hello, Vice President Garcia!”
The looks cast toward Victoria were filled with respect, respect she had gained through her own achievents.
Once again everything returned to normal, and Victoria spent most of the day imrsed in her work.
Because she had missed a lot during her three days absence, she spent another two hours dealing with affairs after work before driving ho.
Victoria took the familiar route, passing several intersections. As she was about to enter the next crossroads, she slightly reduced the speed of her car, instinctively taking this safety precaution.
As the green light lit up, Victoria again started her car.
Just as she was about to cross the intersection, a large vehicle ca speeding from the left. Victoria tried to dodge it, but it was too late.
Despite this, Victoria maneuvered the car skillfully and avoided much of the danger, only to be hit by another car.
Victoria was sandwiched between two cars. Her vehicle was severely damaged from the strong impact. She saw red liquid in front of her. When she reached out to touch it, she realized it was her blood, she had been hit hard in the head.
She looked around, but everything was blurry, and she quickly lost consciousness.
The city’s other end, when Arnold Johnson received the call, he exuded a murderous aura.
“I’m on my way!”
“Find the best doctor!”
“Go investigate the scene, not a single person involved in the incident should be let off, even if it ans digging up information about their ancestors!”
People around Arnold didn’t dare to speak.
Arnold made a gesture and left the banquet without any explanation.
By the ti Arnold reached the hospital, Victoria had already been taken to the Ergency Room.
When Alan arrived, Arnold imdiately threw a punch at him, yelling, “Didn’t I tell you to protect her?”
This was the first ti Alan had seen Arnold in such a state, he didn’t move and took the heavy punch, which caused so much pain that it seed his insides were hurting.
“I’m sorry, Director Johnson. I failed to protect Miss Garcia.”
“What were you doing when she was in danger?” Arnold’s anger showed no sign of abating.
Alan resisted the pain and responded, “My car was just behind hers, I saw what happened when she was in danger.”
At this, Arnold’s rage flared up even more and he continued to yell, “So you’re saying you had no chance to save her at all?”
Alan felt greatly wronged, but Arnold was so furious he had no way to defend himself. Not to ntion that Victoria was injured under his watch, which was enough to upset anyone.
“The two vehicles drove too fast, almost simultaneously hitting her,” Alan explained.
“Victoria’s car may look like a cheap dostic one, but besides its shell, all its internal parts were custom-built. The safety and protection standard of her car was the highest. A single collision shouldn’t have caused her such severe injuries,” Arnold spoke more to himself, “Simultaneous collisions from two vehicles, clearly intending to destroy the car and ensure Victoria’s death. This was no accident.”
Hearing this, Alan could only feel his body icing over in fear.
