Chapter 202: Review Your Private Life 4 Chapter 202: Review Your Private Life 4 Henry Campbell’s gaze returned to Alia Wilson’s face once again.
“I don’t want to question whether your relationship with Jonathan Robinson is real or fake, but I hope you don’t create a ss for to clean up,” Henry said, with a hint of authority.
Alia bit her lip, then explained, “I have no relationship with Jonathan. It’s all his wishful thinking.”
Of course, this “wishful thinking” was based on nurous “coincidences” she had staged.
And of course, this was only possible if Jonathan took the bait.
About that, Alia just wanted to tease Jonathan; she wouldn’t really want him as a boyfriend. After all, she had no interest in n who had been with Mia Garcia. But if she could make a man Mia cared about love her deeply, Alia would be more than happy to do so.
“You need to understand that I don’t want you to be a scandalous film star or a hyped female celebrity,” Henry said casually, then continued, “Although being a star requires so gossip and hype, your current status doesn’t qualify.”
In Henry’s view, gossip and hype were different. Relying on these tactics to rise to fa when she wasn’t yet popular would be considered a lowly thod. In his eyes, this was sothing only third-rate celebrities would do.
Only with good works and fa could she engage in gossip, and even then, it would be just a way to “gild the lily.”
“What direction do you have in mind for ?” Alia asked fearlessly.
Sure enough, his icy gaze shot back at her, sending chills down her spine.
“The artists I represent achieve success based on their accomplishnts,” he said, then added, “I don’t want to repeat this again.”
Alright, Alia admitted she was too dense to realize this obvious answer and had needlessly asked him about it.
Henry ignored Alia and took a contract out of his bag instead, passing it to her.
“This is the movie you’ll be acting in as the female lead. You will also have two endorsent deals: one for a high-end Chinese herbal and plant-based skincare product line, and the other for your sister’s high-end fashion clothes.”
My God! My God!
Alia was screaming with excitent inside her heart. So quickly, she would be in a leading role in a movie. It’s like an unimaginable dream co true.
Plus, there were two endorsents. Although one of them was thanks to Mia, she didn’t mind the social rules and was just looking forward.
“Your male lead will be Sergio, so you need to train even harder. If you lose face for , I promise to put you on hold for three years, and during these three years, you’ll focus solely on practicing your basics,” Henry said, and it didn’t seem like he was joking.
As Alia heard the first part, she was stunned that she would be working with the hottest new generation idol, Sergio, the man who was so handso it defied the laws of nature!
But as she heard the latter part, Alia imdiately reined in her various thoughts.
Being put on hold for three years would be a terrifying experience.
She didn’t want that. She absolutely didn’t want that. She would give her all, no matter what, to avoid making Henry lose face.
Alia held the contract tightly, extending two fingers like a vow to Henry, “I promise. Even if it ans not eating or sleeping, I’ll make sure I do a great job in this movie. I won’t embarrass anyone.”
Henry gave her a glance and then left without even saying goodbye, as quietly as he had arrived.
