“You’re clearly drunk, do you think I can’t see that?” Victoria’s tone carried a hint of displeasure.
Bella quickly replied from aside, “Sis, don’t worry, I’ll watch over Ava.”
Victoria glanced at her again, heavily made up, and couldn’t think of any other word to describe her but garish.
“In that case, I’ll go with her to say goodbye,” Victoria decided on her own.
Upon hearing these words, Bella’s face changed a few tis, but it was hidden under her thick makeup.
“Sis, that’s not really appropriate, after all…” She trailed off, her eyes flicked to Alia Wilson.
Ava continued, “Yeah, sis, trust . I’m not a three-year-old child; I’ve dealt with these drinking scenes countless tis. Nothing bad has ever happened, aside from a little flirting.”
Just as she finished speaking, Ava let out a rather unladylike hiccup.
“Yeah, sis, don’t worry. We can handle situations like this. I promise I’ll bring Ava back to school safely,” Bella chid in from the side.
With that, Bella took the initiative to help Ava, saying, “Ava, let help you over there.”
Ava pushed away from Victoria and leaned on Bella, turning her head to Victoria and said, “Sis, I’ve never looked back once I said my goodbyes. I can deal with this, don’t worry.”
After saying that, her head fell on Bella’s shoulder, and Bella tightly supported her body. As they walked, she said goodbye to Victoria, “Sis, I’ll take her with for now. We’ll be in touch.”
Watching their sowhat unsteady pace, Victoria’s frown deepened.
After Bella had helped Ava away, she clearly sighed with relief in her heart.
Not feeling reassured, Victoria followed them to the private room’s door, then turned around and left.
Returning to her own private room, Victoria talked with Wyatt Lee and the other three about their plans. After everything was settled, she left in a hurry to Ava’s private room.
As she arrived, she saw the private room’s door open and Bella leaving with three fat, big-eared n. Victoria didn’t hesitate to walk over.
“Bella, where is my sister?” Victoria asked as she stood beside her.
Victoria’s sudden appearance clearly caught Bella off guard.
“Oh, Ava? She left already, I had another classmate send her back,” she said, her mouth twitching sowhat stiffly. “Don’t worry, she should be sleeping in her dormitory by now, if everything went as planned.”
Victoria pressed her, “Didn’t you say you would personally send her back?”
Bella explained again, “I was going to, but she got way too drunk. After saying goodbye to our friends here, I asked another classmate to take her back first and stayed to wrap things up. If you don’t believe , you can ask my friends.”
Just as she finished speaking, a bearded, potbellied man stepped forward and said, “You’re talking about that beautiful Ava girl, right? She left with her classmate. If it weren’t for her getting too drunk, I’d have had another three drinks with her.”
Once he finished speaking, he blew a breath reeking of alcohol into Ava’s face, nauseatingly disgusting.
Victoria reflexively turned her head away and looked seriously at Bella.
