Chapter 1068: Hannah Garcia’s world-shaking 4 Chapter 1068: Hannah Garcia’s world-shaking 4 From Hannah Garcia’s perspective, strictly speaking, the man was very fair-skinned, tall, and had features that suggested mixed ancestry.
“Who are you?” Garcia, feeling sowhat weak in the legs, leaned against the wall in the stairwell corridor.
The man ca forward, revealing a friendly smile, and said, “Miss Garcia, rest assured, I am here to rescue you!”
“Rescue ? Why should I believe you? And why did those people want to capture ?” Garcia felt like she had a multitude of doubts that she was eager to unravel.
The man said, in a friendly tone, “I will tell you everything you want to know, but right now we need to get out of here. If we don’t leave, more people will co after us, and then I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to save your life as smoothly as I did.”
Garcia was half-convinced by his words.
But aside from believing him, Garcia didn’t know what other choice she could make.
At the very least, he seed much more friendly than those three black-clothed n.
Under his lead, Garcia quickly left the hospital and got into a car.
As she sat in the car and drove away, she saw from inside the vehicle that quite a few more black-clothed n were rushing into the hospital.
It seed that everything he had said was true.
But who on earth had she offended?
Before Garcia could speak again, the man said, “Hello, Miss Hannah Garcia, you can call Jolson from now on.”
“Are you familiar with ?” Garcia asked.
Jolson smiled, his lips seeming to bloom like a flower, exuding a sowhat demonic charm.
“How could I dare to seek cooperation with you without knowing a bit more about you?” Jolson said with a aningful smile.
Hearing these enigmatic words, Garcia looked at him puzzled and asked, “Cooperate? On what?”
“Don’t worry, once we get to the place, I will explain everything to you slowly,” Jolson said, and then he sped up the car.
Garcia wanted to ask more, but seeing that he did not seem inclined to talk, she closed her mouth and waited patiently.
Half an hour later, Garcia followed Jolson into a villa.
The inside was empty and coldly hollow, not at all like a lived-in ho, but from the lingering scent in the coffee cup on the coffee table, it was clear that soone lived here, and that soone was likely Jolson himself.
“Would you like sothing to drink?” Jolson gestured for her to take a seat anywhere.
Garcia, without much thought, replied, “Do you have any food here?”
“Of course, the place does look a bit bare, but there’s plenty to eat in the fridge.” Saying that, Jolson opened the doors of a double fridge, which was indeed full, packed with an array of items that dazzled the eyes.
“Just give a bottle of water,” Garcia said, feeling a bit thirsty but not much else.
After receiving the water Jolson handed her, Garcia couldn’t wait to start asking him questions.
Jolson understood her eagerness and quietly drank half a can of beer before slowly answering Garcia’s questions.
The first thing he said wasn’t an answer but a question.
“Do you know that you’ve been missing for nearly a year? What happened to you during that year?” Jolson turned the question back to her.
Garcia also wanted to know what had happened during that year.
“If I tell you that I don’t rember anything that happened during that year, would you believe ?” Garcia asked directly.
Jolson looked at her intently for several seconds before finally shifting his gaze away.
