The war in the Fourth Star Ring continued unabated.

At this mont, within a vast universe of the Fourth Star Ring, a relatively small-scale battle was raging.

On the cultivators' side was the Right Wing Spirit Sky Corps of the Fifth Star Ring, tasked with conducting the final sweep of this cluster of over a thousand universes.

Opposing them was a divine clan that had originally dominated these thousand universes.

This clan had once been imnsely powerful, boasting over a dozen True Gods and formidable strength. However, under the relentless advance of the Fifth Star Ring's central army, nearly all their True Gods had been annihilated, and the clan had collapsed.

Only a few remnants had gone into hiding, slipping through the net.

Now, these fugitives had gathered together and were discovered by the Spirit Sky Corps, leading to this cleanup operation.

Yet… although the overall montum favored the Fifth Star Ring, not every battle ended in victory.

Unexpected situations occasionally arose.

However, these surprises usually occurred in relatively small-scale conflicts, so their impact on the broader war was minimal.

Like now—this cleanup operation had encountered an unexpected twist.

This divine clan had actually concealed two True Gods!

Their sudden appearance had turned the tide against the Spirit Sky Corps, whose only commander was a Sumr Immortal.

Thus, the slaughter between the two sides grew even fiercer.

The starry sky of this universe was a scene of brutal carnage.

At a glance, the casualties among the 100,000-strong cultivator corps were heavy.

Their Sumr Immortal commander, though fighting desperately to hold off the two True Gods, was already at the end of her strength.

Most critically, the gods had cast a sealing spell in the area, blocking all outgoing fluctuations and divine senses, cutting off the cultivators' ability to call for reinforcents.

Even if the gods won this battle, it would not alter the overall course of the war. Sooner or later, other cultivator corps would hunt Them down and exterminate Them.

But for the Spirit Sky Corps, this battle… was a life-and-death catastrophe.

"There's no way out…"

In the starry sky, the corps commander wore battle armor, her delicate features contrasting with her fierce deanor, exuding a heroic aura.

She was not one of the older-generation Sumr Immortals but had only ascended a century ago.

Now, her armor was shattered, her face pale, her injuries severe as she was besieged by the two True Gods.

The two True Gods were grotesque in appearance.

One stood ten thousand feet tall, not humanoid but serpentine, Its body composed of countless divine skulls—a manifestation of death itself.

Wherever It passed, thick miasma billowed, and the death divine aspect within Its divine aura erupted violently.

The other was a squirming mass of flesh and blood oozing viscous fluid.

The mucus It emitted was highly toxic, forming a rain of stars that coalesced into a massive vortex, enveloping the surroundings.

Within the vortex blood black plum blossoms with human faces, creating a horrifying sea of flowers.

Under the assault of these two True Gods, the woman grew increasingly desperate. Blood spilled from her lips as she unleashed her Ordinance, barely holding Them off before retreating.

Surveying the devastation around her—her forces in ruins, the divine army frenzied, and the universe sealed—her eyes hardened with resolve.

She raised her right hand, igniting her cultivation base in a blaze of divine-slaying power that erupted violently around her.

The might of a Sumr Immortal surged fiercely.

The universe trembled; the starry sky roared.

The two True Gods, seeing this, imdiately retreated to evade.

They were not at full strength either. Though They had survived the cultivators' earlier onslaught, Their injuries were severe.

As They fell back, the woman wasted no ti. Silver light blazed from her body as her raised right arm severed itself, the flesh instantly burning away to condense around the bone.

Using her arm bone as a vessel for her Sumr Immortal power, she gathered all her Ordinance into a silver crescent moon and hurled it toward the distant void, attempting to imprint it there.

She was staking everything—her bone and her Ordinance—to tear open a gap and send out a divine sense call for help.

Only then… could they survive this calamity.

But just as the silver crescent moon ford from her bone was about to imprint on the void, the skull-bodied True God flashed into its path.

With cold cruelty in Its eyes, It opened Its maw and swallowed the silver crescent whole.

Even as Its body convulsed and countless skulls shattered, It refused to release Its grip, grinding away the Ordinance within the crescent through sheer force, thwarting the desperate plea for aid.

Seeing this, the woman sighed inwardly, then steeled herself for a final, all-out effort.

But at that mont—

A fragrance of plants and herbs suddenly perated the universe, spreading in all directions.

Every cultivator noticed it; every god felt a pang of dread. Even the two True Gods shuddered, Their attention—along with the Sumr Immortal commander's—snapping toward the void.

The void rippled, all barriers and seals within it growing fragile in an instant before shattering completely.

A bridge woven from starlight and spiritual plants erged, descending into this universe.

The sight sent shockwaves through all beings on the battlefield.

The cultivators, sensing the rich immortal aura accompanying the bridge, were instantly uplifted.

The gods, however, were filled with terror.

But what drew even more attention was the figure walking step by step across that bridge.

As the figure descended, an overwhelming pressure radiated from it, its aura shaking heaven and earth. Its features beca clear, imprinted in the minds of all the cultivators.

A single glance was all it took for recognition.

"True Monarch Xu Qing!!"

The female Sumr Immortal's eyes narrowed. Not only did she recognize Xu Qing, but she also sensed the power of an Immortal Lord in that bridge and the imnse fortune accompanying him.

Beside her, the two True Gods wasted no ti—They imdiately retreated, fleeing without hesitation!

They didn't know Xu Qing, but They could feel the terrifying aura of the bridge and the overwhelming divine slaughter essence emanating from him.

That was the killing aura accumulated from slaughtering countless gods!

Even though They could tell the newcor's cultivation wasn't at the Sumr Immortal level, anyone who could gather such killing aura and wield such a bridge was no ordinary foe.

More importantly, Their sealing spell had been broken, and Their hiding place was exposed.

But just as They began to retreat, a cold glint flashed in Xu Qing's eyes. He took a step forward.

The bridge beneath his feet extended instantly.

The starry sky shattered; the void churned.

A terrifying force, unprecedented in its might, descended before the skull-bodied True God.

The bridge arrived in the blink of an eye, crashing into the True God.

The True God's mind exploded with unprecedented mortal terror. It roared, desperately trying to evade.

It unleashed Its divine authority, even withering Its own body to concentrate Its divine aspect.

Yet no matter how It dodged, It was futile.

This was not Xu Qing's own power—it was the bridge, on the verge of dissipating, delivering a fatal strike.

Xu Qing was borrowing the might of an Immortal Lord!

Where it passed, everything crumbled. The bridge collided with the True God.

A deafening explosion echoed as the True God's body trembled violently, then disintegrated instantly—Its divine soul obliterated on the spot.

It was… completely annihilated, body and soul!

With that, the bridge had fulfilled its mission, dissolving into specks of silver light.

At the sa ti, Xu Qing's own cultivation erupted with full force. The power of a peak Quasi Immortal surged like a tidal wave, overlapping countless layers of ti and space, forming innurable overlapping universes.

It was as if ten thousand immortals had manifested. With a single step, all ten thousand moved as one.

Xu Qing strode toward the remaining True God!
