The two walked out of the elevator one after another, reaching the room’s door. Julian Ford swiped the key card to enter the room, glanced around, and his eyebrows subtly furrowed.

This hotel was chosen last minute, so its decor and class naturally couldn’t match Julian Ford’s usual standards when traveling.

It’s normal for a distinguished young man to be dissatisfied.

Scarlett Shaw secretly noticed Julian Ford’s discomfort on his face, feeling sowhat relieved in her heart.

"Aren’t you going to take a bath? No one will care if you catch a cold."

Julian Ford closed the door, looking down at her.

Scarlett Shaw let out a small "oh", and since the bathroom was right next to her, she pushed open the door and went inside. After undressing, she accidentally glanced to the side, her face instantly turning awkward and speechless.

The hotel’s bathroom walls were completely made of glass. Although it’s frosted glass and not clearly visible, when soone stands beneath the shower, their silhouette and movents can definitely be seen clearly by the person on the bed.

Although Julian Ford had seen what needed to be seen before, being watched so intently still felt odd to Scarlett Shaw.

In the bathroom, Scarlett Shaw’s mind was racing, filled with all sorts of thoughts.

Outside the bathroom, Julian Ford glanced at the circular waterbed and the swing near the window that seed unlikely to be used properly. His gaze swept over the bedside and he opened the drawer, finding toys.

He pinched his brow, tilting his head to glance at the bathroom.

Through the frosted glass, Scarlett Shaw had already finished her bath, her arm raised as if reaching for sothing.

In the veiled blurriness often lies a unique allure and beauty.

Scarlett Shaw had great curves, her body was well-proportioned, neither too much nor too little, mirroring her balanced and gentle nature. Whether looking or feeling, it was very pleasing.

Of course, in terms of feeling, only Julian Ford had experienced it.

Scarlett Shaw was unaware that she and Julian Ford had inadvertently checked into a couple’s hotel. Having just finished her bath, she was worried about having no clothes to wear. Rushed by Julian Ford earlier, she hadn’t even taken the hotel robe; all she could find now were a few bath towels.

"President Ford."

Scarlett Shaw hesitated for a mont before opening the bathroom door slightly and softly calling into the room:

"Can you pass a robe?"

Scarlett Shaw waited for more than ten seconds without hearing a response. She peeked out, only to see Julian Ford with his upper body bare, tossing a piece of clothing to her single-handedly.

It was the shirt he had just taken off.

Scarlett Shaw felt the shirt was hot to handle but dared not throw it away, "President Ford, I wanted a robe."

"It’s too dirty here." Julian Ford glanced at her, "Aren’t you afraid of getting sick?"

Julian Ford was a cleanliness freak, avoiding things in such cheap hotels whenever possible.

And since Scarlett Shaw, despite being chastised by him, was still barely in the position of his bedside companion, she naturally wouldn’t let herself get contaminated with unclean things.

Scarlett Shaw understood this point and silently put on Julian Ford’s shirt, walking out of the bathroom.

At this mont, Julian Ford was standing by the bed, answering a phone call.

Aaron Carson: "President Ford, now that Scarlett Shaw has been found, should we inform Manager Lynch that they can return?"

Aaron Carson’s words, though inquisitive, had almost figured out the answer.

Regardless of whether the missing person today was Scarlett Shaw, Manager Lynch’s dereliction of duty was already a certainty. Scarlett Shaw had been found without danger, but what if she hadn’t been found? The problems that would arise from that situation would be extensive.

Life-and-death matters like these, Julian Ford certainly wouldn’t leave unaddressed.

As expected, Aaron Carson soon heard Julian Ford’s voice devoid of any warmth:

"Let them search until dawn."

Aaron Carson: "Yes."

Julian Ford hung up the phone and, turning back, was t with Scarlett Shaw’s wide-eyed expression.

Clearly, after surveying the room, Scarlett Shaw also realized that, other than sleeping, this place had many other uses.

These foreign hotels sure are wild, even richer in ways than Julian Ford’s thods.

Julian Ford calmly scanned from Scarlett Shaw’s face downwards.

She was only wearing his shirt now, with all the buttons neatly done, but the collar was still slightly large, revealing her beautiful and enticing collarbones.

The shirt hem just covered Scarlett Shaw’s thighs.

Scarlett Shaw was locked in Julian Ford’s gaze, unable to avoid his stare. Gradually, those calm, indifferent black eyes approached her, and by the ti she ca to her senses, Julian Ford’s palm was pressed against the back of her waist.

Scarlett Shaw’s face temperature suddenly soared, a lovely red spreading from her collarbones upward, with her earlobes and lips blushing rosily.

"Only wearing my clothes?"

"..."

She was soaking wet and had nothing else to wear.

Julian Ford, intrigued, pulled her closer, noting, "You really know how to seduce people, Scarlett Shaw."

Scarlett Shaw blushed and retorted, "You’re the one who said the hotel was dirty, right?"

She rely avoided using the hotel stuff.

Julian Ford let out a quiet chuckle, his eyes rarely lacking in their usual calmness, now carrying a hint of amusent.

"You’re genuinely obedient when you’re being good."

Biting back when provoked is just infuriating.

Julian Ford truly disliked the hotel’s gri, refraining from doing anything even in such an ambiance, only holding Scarlett Shaw and lying on the bed, but as he pulled her into his arms, he noticed her uncontrollably furrowed brows.

Julian Ford paused, lifted her shirt’s hem, and his gaze fell on where he had just touched her.

Scarlett Shaw’s abdon was covered with a large area of bruising, looking rather unsettling.

Julian Ford stared at her, "Injured and still silent?"

Scarlett Shaw felt wronged, "In this weather, a trip to the hospital was impossible."

Julian Ford’s thumb caressed the bruise, carrying an exploratory and probing intent, not gentle exactly, but the touch was light, causing Scarlett Shaw to feel ticklish as it was near her waist, she trembled, trying to move away from his touch.

This attempt to avoid was too obvious and in Julian Ford’s eyes, it seed sowhat defiant and rejecting.

Consequently, the tactile movents that were gentle a second ago imdiately intensified, and Scarlett Shaw cried out in pain, instinctively kicking Julian Ford.

This kick also wasn’t aid properly, going where it shouldn’t, but fortunately, Julian Ford swiftly grabbed her foot, "Tired of living?"

The voice was cold and deep, carrying a palpable threat to her life.

Scarlett Shaw froze, barely squeezing out, "You were the one to start."

Julian Ford drew her closer, gazing down, "If you didn’t dodge , would I need to grab you?"

"..."

Scarlett Shaw didn’t answer.

But her eyes were tinged with red.

Today, she was trapped in the mountains, alone and helpless, lacking everything, her phone not with her, unable to even call for help, coupled with falls and fears about rain and thunder, she couldn’t be more anxious.

Now finally escaping, she originally could return to a warm hotel and rest peacefully.

Yet she ends up waiting for this presence, demanding authority all night, everything conducted cautiously according to him, none of it free.

She didn’t have the courage to confront him.

Overshadowed by this thought, Scarlett Shaw grew more and more aggrieved.

Even she didn’t notice the glistening tears forming at the corners of her reddened eyes.

Until Julian Ford wiped them away gently with his thumb.

Scarlett Shaw instinctively turned away, but he held her chin, "Still hiding?"

"I..."

Julian Ford lowered his head, and tender kisses descended.
