Seeing that Qin Ziwen wasn't speaking, the Bald Man started speculating. Since he wasn't from the building, he must be from the urban village.

No wonder he looked unfamiliar. But the Bald Man also felt aggrieved. What business did soone from the urban village have ddling in the affairs of their tower?

As for whether he could be from the residential complex on the other side, the Bald Man didn't even consider that possibility. It was several kiloters away, and with the talk of sea monsters in the water, it was impossible to cross over in a short ti.

The Bald Man said, "This at was from the first map. We were transported to a snowy mountain in the first map. Everyone was freezing and starving. After we finished the food in the building, soone suggested eating... eating mutton."

"Those who would rather die than eat all starved to death. Everyone who survived in the building now has eaten it." As he spoke, the Bald Man actually began to cry. "I had no choice. I just wanted to survive. My wife and daughter are waiting for at ho. What would happen to them if I died?"

While speaking, he raised a hand to wipe his tears, then suddenly swung his fist, aiming a punch at Qin Ziwen's groin.

But the mont he moved, Qin Ziwen, sensing the shift in the air currents, had already kicked him in the throat.

The Bald Man's neck twisted upwards, and he slamd heavily against the wall.

His throat bone fractured, the sounds he made were choked, and his face turned deep red.

Before he could even react, the thrown boning knife had already pierced through his eye socket, sinking deep.

Striding forward, Qin Ziwen grabbed the knife handle and pulled upwards.

The blade scraped against the skull, producing a grating sound.

From the Bald Man, Qin Ziwen had obtained a cruel answer.

Almost everyone who survived in this tower had eaten human flesh.

Looking back at the strips of at hanging from the ceiling.

Qin Ziwen found the sight unbearably glaring.

Picking up the nearby clothes-drying rod, he took down all the hanging at one by one, piling it together. He then found flammable materials in the room, took out the flint, and set it all ablaze.

Watching the flas grow increasingly fierce, Qin Ziwen took two steps back, turned, and left.

Thick smoke billowed, the fire raging more and more violently.

"Fire!"

"Hurry, put out the fire!"

From within the tower, overlapping shouts echoed.

Figures rushed past him, hurrying towards the upper floors.

Qin Ziwen made his way down to the bottom of the building, then headed for the urban village.

All around were teams carrying logs towards the urban village.

The logs varied in size. The smaller ones were carried by two people working together, the larger ones required five or six people to lift.

The structure of the urban village looked almost identical to the situation in the picture he had obtained.

The destination for these felled logs was a spacious, large courtyard house.

Standing at the entrance and looking inside, one could see the courtyard's interior space was vast, like two mirrors stacked together. From one of these mirrors, one could see an extra "expanded" space.

Inside, there was a massive shipyard.

From above the giant shipyard, thick, rolling smoke billowed out.

This smoke ca from a huge pool.

So workers threw logs into it, and then pungent white smoke erged.

Other workers used tools to retrieve planks from the pool.

But the retrieved planks seed significantly reduced in volu.

Seeing this scene, Qin Ziwen was sowhat surprised.

He cast Insight.

[Advanced Building · Level 1 Giant Wood Shipyard: Level 2 Shipbuilding Efficiency Boost, Level 2 Giant Ship Assembly, Level 1 Shipbuilding Factory] (Special Effect: Wood thrown into the Timber-lting Pool will be refined to extract its essence, producing ford planks. The ford planks undergo high-intensity compression, greatly increasing their density.)

So, it was a shipyard of this caliber.

Qin Ziwen observed the surroundings and noticed quite a few guards near the shipyard.

Moreover, in a courtyard diagonally opposite, he seed to see a "crossbow" mounted on the wall.

"What are you doing? Hurry up and get to work!" A voice ca from the side. Yang Long walked over with several team mbers, spotting Qin Ziwen standing at the shipyard's entrance.

Watching Qin Ziwen's retreating back as he left, a team mber beside Yang Long asked, "What's up, Brother Long?"

"Nothing." Yang Long shook his head, withdrawing his gaze from Qin Ziwen.

On his way back, Qin Ziwen looked up towards the direction of the Red Cauldron Tower. The fire was now gradually being brought under control, the thick smoke slowly dying down.

He noticed that the fire he had started seed to have been contained within a certain area and hadn't spread to the surrounding floors.

This didn't quite follow the normal pattern of fire spread.

Perhaps it was related to certain characteristics of the Great Tribulation's transmigration.

If that was the case, then presumably the buildings in his own residential complex should have similar effects.

Arriving at the foot of the mountain, the man he first encountered was still slacking off, though he had moved to a more concealed spot, lying behind a tree.

Seeing Qin Ziwen approach, the man couldn't help but reveal a knowing smile. "You're pretty quick."

"What if the other residential complex attacks?" Qin Ziwen said.

The man was nonchalant. "What's there to fear? We've killed so many dinosaurs, why be afraid of so people?"

"Killing dinosaurs isn't that easy either, is it?"

"It's not easy, but we just throw lives at the problem. We have over a thousand more people than that complex across the way, what's there to be afraid of?" the man said casually.

"Where are those heavy weapons in the tower kept?" Qin Ziwen asked.

The man's movents froze. Sensing sothing was off, his hand instinctively moved towards his axe. "Why does it feel like you don't know anything?"

Thud!

Qin Ziwen kicked him unconscious.

Then he hoisted the man over his shoulder and carried him up the mountain.

Reaching the mountain peak, buffeted by the cold wind,

the man regained consciousness. His gaze shifted between Qin Ziwen and the Crowned Eagle beside him.

In that mont, he understood everything.

"You... you're not from our tower, and not from the urban village either."

"Seems you're not stupid. Then I'll ask you, how are your tower's mbers distributed? What high-end combat power do you have? Are there any heavy weapon weapons?" Qin Ziwen asked.

The man's eyes darted around. "Even if I tell you, you won't let go. So why should I talk?"

"There is a difference, at least the experience is different." Qin Ziwen smiled. They were all modern people. Even if they hadn't seen torture, hadn't they heard of it?

He certainly wasn't a professional, but the person being tortured wasn't a professional interrogation-resistance expert either.

Half an hour later, Qin Ziwen had obtained all the information he wanted.

The Red Cauldron Tower unified towards the end of the last map. The internal faction was nad "Blood Script."

The overall frawork resembled a gang structure. Each floor had a Floor Head. There were thirty-two Floor Heads in total. The top sixteen floors belonged to the minority leaders of Blood Script, usually not open to the public. Only the Building Head and Blood Script's core mbers could go up there.

Within Blood Script, the heavy weapons the man knew about were bows and arrows.

He heard they were special bows and arrows made through a building, not only with long range but also extrely high penetration power.

Then, among Blood Script's higher-ups, there was also a highly skilled fighter. It was said he could single-handedly fight his way through an entire floor. Last ti, a Floor Head was dissatisfied and tried to cause trouble. That person alone suppressed the entire floor, wielding a knife and cutting his way through it.

As for the urban village side, it was another faction called the Jianghu Society.

Their numbers were much smaller than Blood Script's, only five or six hundred people.

The shipyard was under the Jianghu Society's control. He heard they were rushing to build ships. Once the big ships were ready, they planned to launch an attack on the residential complex across the water.
