Chitu swaggered into the horse herd, and the horses panicked, parting to make a path for it.
It walked straight toward the temporary leader elected by this large horse herd.
During large-scale migrations, smaller wild horse herds would converge into larger ones, and within the herd, the strongest, most experienced stallion would serve as the temporary leader.
This was a massive, powerfully built stallion covered in scars.
This stallion was stronger than all its peers around it, standing a full head taller.
From a distance, Qin Ziwen cast Insight on this herd leader.
[Ordinary·Gobi Wild Horse: ☆☆☆☆☆]
The original leader quietly watched Chitu approaching it. It slled the intense scent of Tarbosaurus.
Though it shook its head uneasily, its instinct to defend its position kept it rooted in place. It continuously snorted, pawed the ground, and issued warning neighs.
Chitu slowly walked right up to it, then spat out the Tarbosaurus claw it held in its mouth.
It stomped on the claw with its hoof and made a sound from its throat.
The leader stallion fell silent. It slled the thick Tarbosaurus scent emanating from Chitu's body.
It remained motionless for a long ti.
At that mont, the Crowned Eagle silently passed overhead, its broad wings flying low, causing waves of commotion within the horse herd.
The leader stallion lowered its head and slowly walked to the side, leading over a dozen mares to the edge of the herd.
With the leader stallion yielding, Chitu officially beca the temporary leader of this horse herd.
Relying on the intense dragon-blood scent on its body, Chitu rampaged freely through the herd, seizing mares.
It quickly filled its harem to double digits.
.
The three cards dropped by the second Tarbosaurus were respectively a Limit Breakthrough Card, a Recruitnt Card, and a Building Enhancent Card.
The Limit Breakthrough Card goes without saying; the stock in hand has now returned to two.
The Recruitnt Card was a [Recruitnt Card] Ordinary·Human Senior Shipwright.
Qin Ziwen felt that although the cards dropped by these giant beasts hunted in the wild were random, they weren't too outrageous overall. The dropped items could still provide them with so help.
Judging by the level, this Senior Craftsman should be one tier higher than a Skilled Craftsman.
As for the final Building Enhancent Card, the front of the yellow card featured a pattern of animal ears.
[Enhancent Card] Beast Spirit: Can grant the special effect 'Beast Spirit' to buildings related to raising, breeding, or keeping animals.
Beast Spirit: Animals growing within this building will receive a slight boost in spiritual intelligence, making it easier for them to perceive human emotions.
Qin Ziwen thought about it. The buildings he could use this enhancent on were the Beast Cage and the Giant Beast Breeding Center.
But the latter was still more suitable.
He was originally worried that the animals raised would have too low an IQ to understand human speech. Now, with the ability to grant the special effect 'Beast Spirit,' they should presumably beco a bit smarter.
Just then, Qin Ziwu, standing beside him, suggested, "Brother, why don't you try using a Breakthrough Card? Think about it, the next map is an island. The large animals on islands mostly live in the sea! I think hunting in the sea is more dangerous than on land. On this current map, at least there are so large animals on land. The sea will definitely be more difficult."
"I was thinking, what if it fails? The card would be wasted."
Qin Ziwu said matter-of-factly, "If it fails, just use another one. We can always get more Breakthrough Cards later."
Then, his younger brother lowered his voice, "Brother, you are the Guild Leader of our Qin Alliance! The core! If everyone were just ordinary people, that would be one thing. But since superpowers exist, you should at least start from the second tier. Otherwise, what if one day we run into soone who 'doesn't eat beef'? That would be dangerous."
Qin Ziwen thought about it. Based on the current reward tiers from the Weekly Settlent, the probability of obtaining Breakthrough Cards shouldn't be low.
"Mm, I know. You go attend to your own business first."
Finding a spot, Qin Ziwen sat down first.
After pondering for a mont, he took out a Breakthrough Card.
Investing in oneself first was a sound concept. Previously, he just wanted to maximize benefits.
But with the next map coming soon, what if there's a new residential complex, and they are in a competitive relationship? If one of them produced a Superhuman who broke through their limits, it would be troubleso.
He silently chanted 'use' in his heart.
Poof~
The dark gold Breakthrough Card transford into points of light and rged into his body.
[Respected Level 3 Authority Holder, based on your Ho panel, the following three-tier routes have been randomly generated for you. You may use Breakthrough Card*1 to refresh the tasks and re-randomize.]
[First-tier: Commander]
[Task Requirent: Within seven days, rally over one hundred intelligent beings to complete one large-scale event, and during this period, provide sufficient food and water for all participants.]
[Second-tier: Leader]
[Task Requirent: Within the next seven days, lead any number of intelligent life units to hunt prey whose total weight equals 100 tis the combined weight of all participating intelligent life.]
[Third-tier: Keeper]
[Task Requirent: ① Within seven days, newly subdue one Superhuman or Limit Potential pet whose weight exceeds your own by a thousandfold (if the pet is in its juvenile stage, the Ho can extrapolate its limit weight). ② Conduct a hunt with the subdued pet. This hunt may only involve the Ho Master and the Ho Master's Recruitnt Units. Acquire traits based on hunting results. Ti limit: seven days.]
Qin Ziwen glanced over them. The first-tier task was simple.
Of course, for ordinary people, the difficulty lay in providing sufficient food and water, enough for seven days.
The second-tier task was also quite difficult for ordinary people. The more participants, the higher the total weight of prey that needed to be hunted, and there was a ti limit. However, with excellent equipnt and perfect coordination, completion wasn't impossible.
As for the third-tier, Qin Ziwen's eyes lit up with joy.
Wasn't this a "tailor-made position" for a distinguished Level 3 Authority Holder like himself!
I knew having high authority must co with benefits!
Otherwise, why does everyone hate 'privilege dogs' yet wish to beco the special one themselves?
He accepted the third-tier task without hesitation.
Looking at the task again, Requirent ① was still grayed out, in an uncompleted state.
"Not completed?"
Qin Ziwen was stunned. Isn't the Crowned Eagle already Superhuman?
Could it be this guy has rebellious intentions?
No, that can't be. It was summoned by a Recruitnt Card. In terms of loyalty, the Crowned Eagle shouldn't be a problem.
Thinking this, Qin Ziwen first fell into contemplation.
Then he carefully scrutinized the requirents of the third-tier task.
This ti, he finally saw the problem.
"Newly" subdue.
Damn it, the Crowned Eagle doesn't count as 'new'?
Qin Ziwen was dumbfounded.
Looking at it that way, Chitu doesn't count either. Having it break through to Superhuman now would be aningless.
He needed to figure out how to complete Condition ① first.
But whether it was finding a brand new Superhuman pet to subdue, or subduing a pet with limit potential weight exceeding his own by a thousandfold, neither was an easy task.
Qin Ziwen suspected that in this Gobi Desert map, the only Superhuman animal might be that mysterious Giant Rock Dragon from the Level 3 task.
As for the latter, subduing a pet with limit weight exceeding his own by a thousandfold... Qin Ziwen estimated. Based on his current weight, to find a giant beast whose weight could exceed his by a thousandfold, he'd have to look for standards starting from at least eighty tons and upwards!
