"Successfully survived the fourth day safely in the wilderness. Successfully caught five fish, with the longest being an 81cm, 10.54kg silver carp. Through trading, you obtained a pair of juvenile mountain rabbits for dostication. Comprehensive score: 9 points"

"You received rewards: [Resource Card] Level 1 Spring, Solar Flashlight*1"

Seeing today's reward, Qin Ziwen was montarily stunned.

This was his first ti seeing this type of card.

Could he really install a spring in his ho? His apartnt was on the fifth floor! But since folded space had already appeared, creating a spring out of thin air didn't seem too unbelievable.

He just didn't know how big this spring would be and how much water it could provide daily.

Summoning the card, a silver-background, black-bordered card appeared in his hand, with a spring pattern at its center.

He needed to select a 3*3m circular area. After activation, a Level 1 spring would be created within the zone.

Qin Ziwen pondered for a mont. While 3*3 wasn't very large, there weren't many places in his ho that could accommodate such an area at once.

First was the living room, then the master bedroom and secondary bedroom, and finally the newly expanded area from the expansion card.

The living room was definitely out. Both bedrooms had beds and wardrobes, and people needed to sleep there, so the only option was the newly expanded area from the expansion card.

Qin Ziwen was grateful he had placed the Beast Cage on the left side when entering.

Considering there might be other dosticated livestock in the Beast Cage in the future, to prevent contaminating the spring, it would be best to maintain so distance from it.

So he went to the upper right corner area diagonal from the Beast Cage.

The Beast Cage was in the lower left corner after entering. Qin Ziwen walked to the upper right corner and silently activated the card in his mind.

The card in his hand transford into a beam of light that rged with the ground.

When the light faded, a rock protruding from the ground, three ters in diater, ca into view.

The rock's edges were sowhat irregular, nearly one ter high, though the inner walls were relatively smooth, like a natural stone bowl carved from rock.

But...

Where's my water?

Qin Ziwen summoned the flashlight. It was sowhat heavy, with solar panels on the handle.

Pressing the switch, a beam of bright light instantly illuminated the room thoroughly.

The flashlight also had a small display showing battery percentage, which was quite thoughtful.

It had four brightness levels. Level 1 was similar to small flashlights, while Level 4 was very powerful, reaching ten thousand luns, with both large coverage area and high brightness.

Climbing onto the rock spring and reaching the bottom, he supported himself with both hands on the ground and leaned in for a closer look.

Finally, he saw the gradually darkening stone at the bottom of the stone basin.

As ti passed, an extrely shallow layer of moisture ford at the bottom, which disappeared completely with a gentle rub of his finger.

The water was seeping out from cracks in the stone.

"..."

I know this is a Level 1 spring, so I didn't have high expectations.

But this is just too small.

How much water could it produce in a day!

Qin Ziwen shook his head, "Forget it, I'll check again tomorrow morning."

The next day, early in the morning, Qin Ziwen went to the spring. A small puddle had accumulated at the bottom of the stone spring.

The puddle was very shallow, about half a finger deep.

Qin Ziwen estimated it was roughly seven to eight liters.

By the end of the day, it should produce about twenty to thirty liters of water.

Gently scooping up so water, he took small sips.

The spring water was sweet and refreshing. As long as they were frugal, their household water should be sufficient from now on.

No more exhausting trips to carry water from the river, saving considerable physical effort. The journey back from the river to the residential complex, then carrying it up to the fifth floor was still quite tiring.

If the residential complex had been transported to a desert or Gobi environnt, this spring's value would have multiplied several tis over.

After returning last night, Qin Ziwen had told Old Deng about hunting the crocodile.

So Old Deng ca knocking early.

Seeing Old Deng fully ard, Qin Ziwen couldn't help but tease, "Whoa, look at you."

Old Deng wore a motorcycle helt, a thick down jacket, especially on his legs where he had taped several magazines, and held a sharpened wooden stick.

Clearly, the incident from two days ago had left a deep impression on him.

"You're going out like this?" Old Deng saw that both Qin Ziwen and Qin Ziwu only wore long sleeves and pants, without any special protective asures.

"Wearing too much might hinder movent."

Qin Ziwen smiled: "This way is more flexible. If bitten, whether you're wearing more or less doesn't make much difference."

Old Deng felt wearing thicker clothing was safer,

and cheerfully followed the Qin brothers to the gathering point.

Along the way, Old Deng even boasted to them, "My wife helped tape these magazines on my legs, using my daughter's elentary school textbooks."

Qin Ziwen gave a thumbs up, "Cool."

Arriving at the residential complex gate, the area was crowded with people. At a glance, they were divided into at least seven or eight teams.

"Over here!" Zheng Yuan waved at him.

Approaching, Zheng Yuan introduced the man beside him to Qin Ziwen, "Zou Sheng, my downstairs neighbor, professional fitness enthusiast."

Zou Sheng wasn't very tall, about 1.75 ters, appearing lean and muscular type with a crew cut, smiling to reveal eight teeth.

Zou Sheng proactively extended his hand, "Zheng Yuan's been talking about you the whole way, ntioning you since we ca downstairs, saying your spear thrust was crucial when killing the crocodile two days ago. Please take care of later."

Qin Ziwen shook hands, "Don't ntion taking care, we're all cooperating together. The crocodile's short-distance burst speed is very fast, just stay vigilant."

Ti slowly passed as they chatted, with the air temperature gradually rising.

Zheng Yuan frowned, "Why aren't all people here yet? Others have already set off."

He walked over and found Huang Tao.

The two talked quietly for a mont, then Zheng Yuan returned.

Qin Ziwu quickly asked, "Brother Zheng, what did he say?"

Zheng Yuan said, "Huang Tao sent soone to ask. Soone from Building 7 hasn't arrived yet, probably overslept."

Soon, soone ran out from the south gate, whispered sothing in Huang Tao's ear. Huang Tao was montarily stunned, then his expression turned ugly.

He took a deep breath, then clapped his hands, "Brothers, everyone's here, tools are ready, let's set off now."

Soone said, "Weren't there twenty people? Why only nineteen?"

Huang Tao hesitated, then said frankly, "One person in the team can't make it. His family mbers are worried about him, thinking crocodile hunting is too dangerous. But it's fine, nineteen people versus twenty doesn't make much difference, and there's one less person to share the at with."

Hearing this, the team erupted.

"Damn, which household is it?"

"If he's not coming, he should have said so earlier! Now backing out last minute, making us short one person."

"That kind of troublemaker, afraid of this and that, might as well starve to death!"

Soone suddenly said, "Is it the guy from Building 4, Unit 2, Room 302? Damn, he and his wife ca to last night, blabbering a lot, basically saying crocodile hunting is dangerous with no safety guarantees. They even asked if I was coming tomorrow. I found it strange at the ti. So he didn't want to co and was trying to drag down with him."

Qin Ziwu was also angry, "If he's not coming, he should have said so earlier! Made us wait so long."

Huang Tao cald everyone down while he and the security guards distributed the prepared tools to everyone, especially that large net.

"Where did this net co from? Looks familiar."

"Seems like the climbing net from the children's play area, he collected it."

"Genius, I wondered where those nets from the playground went. So they collected them."
