The two of them did not disturb the Ying Snake that was drinking the wind, so they continued on their way.

Yet the Ying Snake caught their scent in the wind, and its vertical pupils imdiately locked onto the two of them passing below its peak.

Its wings began to unfold, and the dazzling colors on them instantly ford an intimidating aura that enveloped the two travelers from above.

Wu Hen looked up and saw the wings covering the sky, which frad the body of the Ying Snake, making it appear as enormous and magnificent as an Ancient Mysterious Snake and emitting a divine aura.

"This guy doesn't seem too keen on letting us go," Wu Hen said, chuckling without fear as he sized up the arrogant Ying Snake.

Qingxi was also unceremonious, extending her fair hand.

The palm turned to fla, and soon a Red Fla Palm Print was struck toward the Ying Snake.

The Ying Snake had not expected Qingxi's cultivation to be so profound; the Fiery Fla Palm Print she released was as large as its own body.

In a panic, the Ying Snake twisted its body to dodge toward a lower area on the side...

But clearly, the Ying Snake had not observed its surroundings; as it dodged, it smashed its head against a rock peak.

After its head was rebounded by the rock peak, Qingxi's red fla palm landed squarely on its forehead, and the Ying Snake was struck firmly, flying out and plumting down the mountain.

As flas engulfed the Ying Snake's head, Qingxi gave it another look on its way down, then confird Wu Hen's earlier comnt, "This Ying Snake really isn't too bright; having it for my Soul Casting would be inauspicious."

Wu Hen also smiled.

The Ying Snake, which once deed itself unrivaled, now appeared to be no different from a clown snake. Perhaps it was because their journey had been constantly under great pressure, confronting the Black Unihorn, Hell Nine-Headed City, and creatures like the Cold-blooded Woman – Qilin geniuses; they realized that what used to be seen as Heavenly Light was actually Firefly.

...

"Shall we go to the Second Layer Mountain then and not linger here any longer?" Wu Hen suggested.

Indeed, there were many Totemic creatures within the First Layer Mountain. In the otherworldly realm, they were relatively rare species, and in any given territory were would be considered Ancient beasts, dominating their domain.

But Wu Hen also noticed that Qingxi's cultivation was not low at all; she had no need to use the Totems of the First Layer Mountain for her Soul Casting.

Similarly, Wu Hen was not interested in them, even though so really did have strength beyond the Ying Snake.

Encouraged by Wu Hen's various persuasions, Qingxi gritted her teeth and decided to challenge higher locations.

"Actually, the first layer is mostly for those Masters who are still stuck in the Saint Child Realm in their middle age. It's quite unlikely for them to step into the Cloud Holy Country, but considering their many years of contributions to the Holy Sect, the Sect still gives them this opportunity," Qingxi said.

"That's right, although you faced setbacks in earlier years, if a person lacks ambition, what difference does it make from the Ying Snake that only knows to drink northwest wind?" Wu Hen said.

"You really are humorous, junior brother."

Together, the two ascended the mountain and soon entered the mist-wrapped Second Layer Ancient Mountain.

"The mountain is filled with different kinds of Spiritual Energy: White Mist, Blue Glass, Purple Core, Golden Radiance. The Totems residing here are also surrounded by various levels of aura, and you, junior brother, might want to pay more attention. In the future, you may have the opportunity to subdue them," Qingxi said.

Qingxi had researched the Second Layer Mountain extensively in her early years.

Her initial goal was to acquire a Golden Dawn Totem for her Soul Casting. If she succeeded, she would have beco a Bright Venerable of the Cloud Holy Country, but fatefully she fell just short.

While listening, Wu Hen was sensing the flow of Spiritual Energy in the Second Layer Mountain.

If the Totems here cultivated by inhaling and exhaling the essence, then the more advanced Totems would definitely occupy positions at the mouth of the Spirit Vein. Following this train of thought, Wu Hen quickly discovered a Wind Chi wrapped in the aura of Purple Core.

The Wind Chi was perched on top of a Ten-thousand-year-old Rock Pine, half-opening its mouth as if it were sucking sothing from the solitary Moon.

The Moonlight that spilled from the war-worn Moon onto the Wind Chi painted it with a noble silver, making the Totem Holy Beast seem like silver silk coiled around the ancient pine, elegant and slender, as pure and smooth as a jade. It was like a peerless beauty bathing in a shallow river under the moonlight.

"This Wind Chi is nice, and it suits you very well, senior sister," Wu Hen said.

"Junior brother, how did you know there was..." Qingxi was puzzled when suddenly they heard soone speaking from the other side of the mountain.

The voice was shrill, and she too was heading toward the Ten-thousand-year-old Rock Pine.

"Senior brother, it's a Wind Chi!"

Across the mountain, the woman spotted the silver Wind Chi on the ancient pine and cried out in excitent.

However, it didn't take long for the woman to notice the two people standing on the opposite mountain top, none other than Qingxi and Wu Hen.

Although the woman realized that Wu Hen and Qingxi had arrived first, she displayed an impatient deanor.

From across a mountain top, the woman dressed in red robes gestured towards Wu Hen and Qingxi, "You two, get out of here, ten miles away!"

mbers of the Holy Sect who ca to War Song Mountain didn't like to join others, fearing that they might be ambushed during the Soul Casting process.

"We were here first," Wu Hen said, refusing to be polite to soone so overbearing.

"Junior brother, let's just drop it and look elsewhere?" Qingxi, seeing the woman in red robes, imdiately suggested retreating.

Above the purple robes were the golden robes.

Above the golden robes were the red robes...

Qingxi also realized that the other party was not easy to provoke.

"Hurry up and scram, or I'll gouge out your eyes first, then hack off your limbs!" The red-robed woman's tone turned cold, and her eyes revealed a hint of killing intent.

Wu Hen also wore a smile on his face.

Before, Wu Hen would have been sowhat wary of provoking those from the Holy Sect, given its profound depths. After all, if you beat the junior, the senior cos, and if you beat the senior, so old ancestor or the like shows up...

But now Wu Hen was not afraid at all!

Old Bastard Cai Huang had said that in this Holy Sect, they only needed to be mindful of one person's mood.

"Sister, wait here for , I'll be right back," said Wu Hen before he leapt into action.

He soared over the head of the Wind Chi and accurately landed on the opposite mountain top.

He had recently learned a bit of an advanced Saint Technique, so it was ti to see how successful his cultivation had been. It had been a while since he'd fought personally, and he felt his bones were getting rusty. It was a good opportunity to loosen up.

Since it was a Red Robed Master, it must be soone of significant stature.

The woman had clearly reached the Saint Child Realm, and when she saw Wu Hen coming to kill her, a look of astonishnt flashed in her eyes. She then quickly ford a Blade Skill spell and manipulated a weapon made of golden radiance from a distance, swinging it toward Wu Hen.

"Hmph, you think these pieces of junk tal can harm ?" Wu Hen raised his hand, and with a heavy grasp, pressed the space around him, instantly compressing all the flas that made up the weapon.

With a casual squeeze, the fla weapons dissipated, and the remaining Holy Breath scattered at the red-robed woman's feet like the cinders of fireworks.

Her expression was one of shock; she hadn't expected this unimpressive young man to be so astonishingly strong.

Realizing she might have provoked a formidable person, the red-robed woman imdiately retreated, hiding behind so sharply contoured rocks.

Behind the rocks, a tall man in a red robe erged and stood between Wu Hen and the red-robed woman, smiling ominously at Wu Hen who had taken the initiative to attack.

"Young brother, such a hot temper, aren't we?" said the Red Robed Master.

Wu Hen couldn't be bothered to exchange words and went straight in with a punch for the Red Robed Master!

The power of the punch was exaggerated, like an entire mountain collapsing.

The might of the punch slamd heavily onto the Red Robed Master, knocking him to the ground.

The Red Robed Master was shocked and quickly fled to the side.

Wu Hen lifted a foot with Holy Breath gathering beneath it, and in a flash, his right foot transford into a giant golden foot of a deity, brutally stomping down on the pair of red-robed figures.

The two Red Robed Masters scampered away in a panic, using Saint Techniques to escape down the mountain like two startled monkeys...

"Qingxi, go ahead and focus on your Soul Casting. If any riff-raff approach, I will take care of them!" Wu Hen called back to Qingxi.

Qingxi's face was full of astonishnt, and she stared at Wu Hen, hardly believing what she was seeing.

She didn't understand how soone at the Holy Infant Realm could be chasing down and beating two Saint Child Realm Masters?

Even though the color of one's robe and their realm didn't represent their full strength, the combat power of this junior brother was terrifying. He used fairly standard Holy Sect spells, yet the power he displayed was several tis stronger.

"Junior brother, don't chase too far; they might have co in a group," Qingxi quickly cautioned.

The ground shook and after a few minutes, Wu Hen flew back from the mountain top.

"Those two scumbags ran too fast; I couldn't catch them, or I would have broken their damn legs... What's wrong, sister? Why are you staring at like that?" Wu Hen asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's just that since I've known you, junior brother, you've always seed genteel and refined. I never expected you'd have such a fierce side," said Qingxi.

"I am only gentle and refined to those I deem pleasing to the eye," Wu Hen responded.

"Your Holy Breath seems different," Qingxi also noticed the difference, her curiosity piqued.

"It's from my sister's guidance," Wu Hen casually found an excuse.

"Junior brother, you've truly opened my eyes. I thought your abilities were diocre, not expecting that dealing with two Red Robed Masters would be like an adult hitting children. I was blind before, not realizing just how strong you really are!" Qingxi did not skimp on her praise, her eyes gleaming with admiration.

Hearing Qingxi's soft-spoken, gentle praise, Wu Hen's mood also brightened considerably.

Just as Wu Hen was about to challenge Qingxi to take on the Wind Chi, suddenly there was a disturbance from the other side of the mountain. It was like the roar from a high mountain's torrent, rolling with a rumbling sound.

Wu Hen looked towards the sound, and he saw a group of people riding golden waves of fla. They each radiated dense golden light, resembling angry Arhats as they surged toward him and Qingxi.

"Not good, they really did co as a group!" Qingxi also saw the crowd, her face turning pale in an instant.

Wu Hen too didn't expect that the other party could gather such a large group of Holy Sect experts in such a short ti.

"Sister, let's find a place to hide first!" Wu Hen also realized that alone he was no match for such a big group and decisively pulled Qingxi to escape deeper into the mountains.
