The true strength of Lao Liu lay not in being sinister.

It was in having patience! Read new adventures at empire

Wu Hen pretended to leave, not arousing suspicion in the White Brocade woman and Xiao Chong.

"Buzz!"

Just as Wu Hen had retreated a short distance, powerful energy chains appeared without warning beside Xiao Chong and the White Brocade woman!

In the next second, Ying Snake surged with terrifying speed past all the hunters, morphing into a thunderbolt that crashed towards the two’s location.

Violent space ripples raged, resembling a landside tsunami.

The long, narrow island instantly shattered into powder, the dust billowing high into the sky. As expected, Ying Snake’s target was Xiao Chong. Its massive body, like a divine whip, fiercely struck Xiao Chong.

The Holy Wall had blocked Ying Snake’s space-piercing strike, or else the sudden shockwave just now would have crushed Xiao Chong. Let alone the full force attack aid at Xiao Chong.

The White Brocade woman turned pale in fright, her Holy Wall instantly shattered, and she was swept away by the spatial tsunami whipped up by Ying Snake.

Xiao Chong created countless afterimages in the air, continuously altering his flight path, but the tail whip still lashed towards him!

"Boom!!!"

Like a lightning bolt from a clear sky, energy tilted, and space fractured into a shocking spider-web pattern.

A thick layer of Holy Light emanated from Xiao Chong, forming Holy Beast Armor that enveloped his entire body.

This Holy Beast Armor was clearly Xiao Chong’s trump card, saving his life, but he was still sent flying several kiloters, crashing into a sea rock formation.

"Ugh!"

Blood spurted out, Xiao Chong clutched his chest with one hand, while the other pulled out a glowing pill from his clothing, forcing it down before he’d even finished coughing up his congealed blood!

Hastily using the pill’s effects for breathing control, Xiao Chong activated the Totem Bloodline within his body, allowing the special energy to nd his ridians and repair his broken bones.

After a round of breathing control, Xiao Chong’s bleeding stopped, and his sunken chest sowhat recovered.

He opened his eyes again, filled with rage!

"Beast! If you can’t kill , you’ll suffer for it!" Xiao Chong raised his right hand, forming a finger gesture, and began summoning the giant golden spirit.

The giant golden spirit’s enormous golden god-like body took large strides forward. Though its pace was slow, each step covered ten tis the distance it visibly traversed, appearing discontinuous to onlookers.

One mont, it was several kiloters away; the next, it was before Ying Snake. The giant golden spirit threw a fist with gravitational force, its blow akin to a golden teor’s impact, stirring golden fla ripples surpassing volcanic eruptions.

Ying Snake twisted its body. Though bent slightly by the punch, it then violently clashed with the giant golden spirit, tearing surrounding islands and bays into countless fragnts.

Five kiloters away.

Wu Hen stealthily approached a tropical forest.

A long furrow had been ploughed through the tropical forest, trees toppled, and soil and rocks cracked open. At the furrow’s end lay a woman covered in bloody gri, discernible by the corner of her once-clean white clothes.

The woman seed paralyzed by the shock, unable to rise for a long ti.

Wu Hen now stood beside her, a cold smile curling his lips.

She liked trying to please her Senior Brother Xiao, unaware that Xiao Chong never saw her as human.

The Holy Wall could indeed block Ying Snake’s space-piercing strikes, but the powerful energy chains would clash with it, creating spatial tsunamis as potent as Ying Snake’s full-force attack.

The White Brocade woman used the Holy Wall to shield Xiao Chong, but being connected to it, she bore the brunt of the shockwave...

Luckily for her, Ying Snake’s target was never her, or it would have chased her flying direction and bitten off her life in a single gulp.

"What are you waiting for?! Help !" The White Brocade woman, seeing Wu Hen, was filled with fury.

Facing death, her temper remained obstinate. This Senior Sister had ventured out too little, unaware of the wickedness of human hearts.

Wu Hen said nothing, a Black Frost Cold Piercing appearing in his hand.

He raised his hand and slowly thrust the Cold Piercing towards the White Brocade woman’s heart!

The White Brocade woman’s eyes widened, desperately trying to grab Wu Hen’s hand, attempting to push the Cold Piercing away.

But with her ridians shattered, she couldn’t muster any strength.

She hastily activated her Totem Bloodline, trying to wrap her arm in energy, but the Black Frost’s power quickly invaded her body, freezing her skin into black ice...

"How dare you!!!" The White Brocade woman scread, calling for other Holy Sect Disciples to save her.

Wu Hen couldn’t be bothered to waste words on her, plunging the Black Frost Cold Piercing entirely into her chest, piercing her heart.

Facing death, the White Brocade woman finally dropped her arrogance and disdain, pleading with Wu Hen to spare her life.

Wu Hen remained silent.

This woman’s gaze at him was no different from looking at a dog.

Perhaps being killed by soone like him was her greatest humiliation. Even with her heart pierced, she struggled and writhed frantically, in excruciating pain, utterly unwilling!

Wu Hen never said a word from start to finish, for there was nothing to say to livestock. Slaughter and be done with it; Little Yi was still waiting for the soup!
