The eerie mist surged like waves, layer upon layer.

The fighter jets had a hard ti maintaining stable flight in this area. They fired a dozen or so missiles, demolishing the horde of Ghost Scorpions ahead with heavy firepower, and imdiately altered course, not daring to approach the Island Lake region any closer.

In the Island Lake region, the Ghost Scorpions sward densely. They could not only crawl on the ground but also ride the waves of the eerie mist, charging forward like shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

Their extrely sharp black stingers were comparable to diamond cones, effortlessly piercing the armor of the chanical Beasts.

Besides those large chanical king beasts, there were quite a few chanical Beasts manufactured as war dogs, leopards, and fierce tigers. They ford the vanguard War Beast Army, engaging in brutal combat with the countless Ghost Scorpions...

All over the ground lay scattered chanical parts, engine oil, and cable debris, mingling with scorpion shells, chunks of flesh, black blood, and viscera flowing everywhere. The scene was reminiscent of a grueso human war, yet such a collision between chanical armies and wild beast tribes had never been witnessed in human history, as if suddenly stepping into an interstellar era dominated by the insect race.

"Roadblock cleared," announced the pilot of the Purple Owl from the sky.

These chanical Beast troops were commanded by the airborne cha Purple Owl. It was evident that this was also an extrely eager-to-impress buffoon.

Having lost a large group of chanical Beasts, Wu Hen felt very helpless.

Couldn’t the Holy Sect disciples be allowed to show their skills? Their qi was preserved precisely to exterminate all humanity!

Fortunately, Lan Han was a person with extrely little patience. She transford a mass of Totem Holy Power into Qi Blades. These Holy Energy Blades sliced through the mountain obstructing their path into several segnts, let alone the Ghost Scorpions perched on the mountain.

As they moved forward, they finally saw what looked like a machine factory madly laying eggs—the Ghost Scorpion Mother.

The Purple Owl’s eyes had recording devices, and the captured footage of this demonic beast factory left the city’s people astonished and horrified.

Never did they imagine that without relying on any equipnt, without the so-called power or energy sources, and without needing many workers, a single Ghost Scorpion Mother could achieve such a terrifying production rate.

This made the ch factories of the Emperor Alliance blush with sha. The Ghost Scorpion Mother’s daily output could easily surpass their year-round continuous production.

It was too exaggerated!

These creatures from Desert Dust utterly defied existing human understanding.

While Wu Hen, Lan Han, and the Purple Owl slaughtered their way forward, another thousand Ghost Scorpions had already been spawned.

On the lake surface, scorpion eggs floated densely. Each one was the size of a dinosaur egg, and they required no incubation process. With just enough water, they could take form imdiately, possessing strong offensive capabilities.

Lan Han disliked the feeling of poison spreading over her body. More reckless than Wu Hen had anticipated, she enveloped herself entirely in Holy Power and then flew straight toward the Ghost Scorpion Mother.

This Lan Han, peeling off her womanly facade, might as well be a Lu Zhishen!

Wu Hen just loved such opponents.

Why should enemies always be calculating and cautious? Arrogance, and unbounded audacity, were the traits that earned respect and admiration from adversaries!

Wu Hen didn’t even need to waste his breath on seduction. He began to scan the surroundings, hoping to spot another powerful creature, ideally luring it to pincer attack Lan Han, ensuring her death!

Luck was on his side. Wu Hen used his auditory perception to detect a long, fierce creature lurking at the lake’s bottom. It had previously revealed no signs of life. Without hearing its slow wriggling motions, Wu Hen might have overlooked it altogether.

"I thought the Ghost Scorpion Mother reproduced asexually. Who knew there was another one beneath the water, diligently working without complaint!" Wu Hen couldn’t help but quip.

Now that he knew there was a hidden monster, Wu Hen knew what to do.

He intentionally approached Lan Han, feigning a protective stance.

Simultaneously, Wu Hen discreetly signaled the Purple Owl to stay away, lest its pilot—a true imbecile—actually provided fire support.

"I heard so commotion to our west. Head there imdiately to intercept any interference while we slay the Ghost Scorpion Mother," Wu Hen said.

"Aye, sir!" The Purple Owl’s pilot, suspecting nothing, promptly maneuvered his cha towards the western mountains by the lake.

Lan Han’s attention was wholly fixated on the Ghost Scorpion Mother. Her triangular eyes greedily stared at the Nest Crystal under the Ghost Scorpion Mother’s abdon; its value no less significant than Yuan You.

"Junior Brother, neither of us has mastered the Gathering Ghost Skill. Once we slaughter these Lower Seed Clan people, we won’t benefit one bit. Anything from Ying Snake won’t belong to us either. So, sotis, don’t blindly heed the orders of our senior brothers and sisters. The only things we can truly obtain are the pitiful blood and energy from the battlefield and the monster’s essence!" Lan Han began to wield Totem Holy Power.

The Ghost Scorpion Mother swung its giant pincers, slicing black gashes through the air.

Lan Han shielded herself with Totem Holy Power. Then she gathered the Totem Power in her palm, striking out at the Ghost Scorpion Mother with a heavy Vajra Palm!

The palm force repelled the Ghost Scorpion’s massive pincers. Lan Han then flipped onto the Ghost Scorpion Mother’s head, clenching her hand into a fist, repeatedly pumling the creature’s head. The golden Holy Energy ford teorological strikes, each punch slamming heavily onto the Ghost Scorpion Mother’s head.
