"Why did you bring here, Emperor?" Yue ngyi asked Chen Li in confusion.
"Take out your twin silver moon daggers, ngyi." Chen Li imdiately transford his necklace into a golden dagger. "When was the last ti we sparred? It's been too long, right? The current is still not on par with Long Wang, and I still need to continue improving, so I want to spar with you now."
"The last ti we sparred was before I left for the Three Realms, and over a thousand years have passed since then." Yue ngyi imdiately took out her twin daggers. "I've been training hard since I heard news of the rebellion that day, and my fighting skills have improved significantly compared to the past."
"Ha ha ha." Chen Li laughed at that. "If your fighting skills haven't improved even a little after so much ti has passed, I will definitely be disappointed in you, ngyi."
Yue ngyi pursed her lips. "Emperor, I am determined to free my mother from their hands, and I will never be able to do that without strength. Therefore, I always train from morning to night, and I rarely rest."
"That's good." Chen Li nodded. "Attack with all your strength and don't hold back."
"Eh?" Yue ngyi was taken aback. "But—"
"No buts." Chen Li stopped Yue ngyi. "You may not know about it, but our enemies are not just Tian Shiwang and the other immortals, and there are many powerful cultivators behind them."
"Many powerful cultivators?" Yue ngyi seed confused by that because she thought there was no one stronger than Tian Shiwang and the other immortals, but Chen Li said there were still powerful cultivators behind them. "Who are the people you are referring to, Emperor?"
"The Dark Race." Yue ngyi froze and her eyes widened as soon as Chen Li ntioned that race. "Xie Zhongzhu and Mo Zuhuang are the leaders of that race, and they are also the masterminds behind the rebellion carried out by Tian Shiwang and the other immortals, so all of them are under the control of those two people now. According to Xiao Hei, who had seen them both before, their cultivation had already reached the Immortal Venerable Realm."
"Has their cultivation truly reached the Immortal Venerable Realm, Emperor?" Chen Li nodded to Yue ngyi. "No wonder they were able to control Tian Shiwang and the other immortals; they've beco so powerful after disappearing for so long, and almost no one can stand against them now."
"That's why I don't have much ti to relax, and I have to keep improving myself to reach my past level; only then can I face Xie Zhongzhu and Mo Zuhuang." Chen Li pointed his golden dagger at Yue ngyi. "Let's do it, ngyi. Don't hold back and attack with the intention of killing ."
Yue ngyi smiled wryly at that, but she imdiately disappeared from Chen Li's sight. She reappeared behind him and attacked him, but he spun around and blocked her attack before launching a counterattack on her.
Yue ngyi imdiately disappeared again, but Chen Li stood still at his spot while his eyes moved to examine other areas.
"ngyi, I can see your movents clearly." Yue ngyi was stunned to hear that, but Chen Li suddenly appeared in front of her, thrusting his dagger at her.
Yue ngyi blocked Chen Li's dagger with hers, but his attack pushed her back. "How can you see my movents, Emperor?"
"My eyes are exceptional." Chen Li imdiately attacked Yue ngyi again. "Co on! Don't hold back!"
Yue ngyi let out a soft sigh before disappearing again, but the area was imdiately shrouded in dense fog, intended to limit Chen Li's visibility and slow down his movents.
However, Yue ngyi didn't know about Chen Li's Divine God Eyes yet, and the mist couldn't block his sight at all. Even so, the mist has quite an effect on his speed, which slows him down quite significantly.
Clang
Chen Li parried Yue ngyi's attack and attacked her back, but she quickly disappeared from her position, causing his attack to hit empty air. "Your speed is much faster than in the past, ngyi."
Yue ngyi didn't respond to Chen Li; instead, she suppressed her aura, cultivation, and presence as tightly as possible. Once she was sure, she imdiately attacked him again, but her attack pierced through his body.
Yue ngyi was stunned because she had not seen Chen Li make a move earlier, nor had she felt any movent of Qi in his body; however, her attack only struck his illusion.
Yue ngyi looked up before flying to the side, avoiding Chen Li's attack. Thereafter, she disappeared from her position again, observing him from behind the mist.
"ngyi, you can't use hit-and-run techniques against ." Chen Li imdiately released his aura, dispelling the mist. "As I said before, my eyes are special, and you can never hide from , so I executed my technique the mont I saw you move."
Hearing that, Yue ngyi imdiately appeared before Chen Li and questioned him. "How can you still see when I've used my mist, Emperor? In the past, you couldn't do that, right?"
"You're right." Chen Li nodded at Yue ngyi. "I certainly couldn't do it in the past, but you don't seem to be aware of my current condition."
"Hmm?" Yue ngyi looked at Chen Li in confusion, but she imdiately noticed it as soon as her eyes turned gray. "Are your eyes blind, Emperor?"
Chen Li nodded in response. "I had an accident before I beca a cultivator, which caused my eyes to go blind. Luckily, I t Song Tianyi, and he passed on many things to , including my current eye abilities.
Yue ngyi raised an eyebrow as Chen Li's eyes turned silver again. "So, your silver eyes help you to see through things, right?"
"Haha." Chen Li laughed as he nodded. "That's why there's no point in you hiding from ; Instead, you should attack directly."
Yue ngyi sighed heavily. "You're cheating, Emperor! You know the mist is my main advantage, and I always rely on it to defeat my enemies."
"Are you truly incapable of doing anything without your mist, ngyi? Have you forgotten all my past teachings?" Yue ngyi shook her head at Chen Li. "If you haven't forgotten them, then attack now, and you must use your full strength."
Boom
Yue ngyi imdiately released her aura. "Get ready, Emperor! I won't hold back any longer, and I'll attack you with all my strength."
"Co at !"
