750: Chapter 743: Showdown 750: Chapter 743: Showdown “This…” Hearing Tangmo’s radical words, Cheng Ziang couldn’t help but look at Luoer.

“What Momo mainly ans is, now that we have Feng with us, at least our personal safety is guaranteed,” Luoer explained.

“Luoer, when you think about things, it seems you’ve never really considered the existence of our new team mbers Fulajie’er and Feng.

You always base your thoughts on us five.

You always said that you don’t treat Fulajie’er and Feng as outsiders, and consider them part of us.

Isn’t your current action contradictory to what you said before?” Tangmo looked at Luoer and asked.

Only Momo would notice the problem with Luoer and propose suggestions for improvent.

Just as Luoer would tolerate everyone’s mistakes, everyone would also tolerate so of Luoer’s flaws, including Cheng Ziang.

“I apologize!” Feeling ashad after hearing Tangmo’s question, Luoer lowered his head and respectfully replied.

“Why are you apologizing to ?

Shouldn’t you be thanking ?” Tangmo looked at Luoer, a slow smile spreading across his face.

“Thank you then, Momo.” Luoer was a bit taken aback, but he smiled and responded.

“What a good wife and mother she is,” Cheng Ziang couldn’t help but comnt, watching their harmonious interaction.

At his words, Tangmo turned her head to look at him, rolling her eyes and saying, “When I helped solve the Door of Annihilation, you were pointing a gun at .”

“One case doesn’t apply to all.

Your contribution was indeed significant.

But similarly, the harm you caused to the Advance Team was also significant.

Don’t always think you’re innocent, I still maintain a vigilant attitude towards you.” Cheng Ziang stated bluntly.

“Humph!” Tangmo shot Cheng Ziang a fierce glare before moving closer to Luoer.

“Luoer, what do you plan to do now?” Cheng Ziang asked, turning toward Luoer.

Luoer thought for a mont, then sighed saying, “On one hand, we’ll wait for instructions from the headquarters.

On the other, it’s best if we lay our cards on the table with Commander Reir and figure out whose side he’s really on.

If he’s really with Mu Lansi, at least we have Feng, right?”

“Should we go over now?” Cheng Ziang asked.

“Yes, let’s go!” Giving a nod, Luoer reluctantly extracted his hand from Tangmo’s embrace, and began to walk towards the flagship’s bridge, Tangmo following closely.

“Feng, co here!” Cheng Ziang beckoned Feng over, then whispered a few words into her ear.

“Do you understand?” After speaking, Cheng Ziang looked at her and asked.

“Understood!” Feng nodded, keeping a neutral expression.

The group arrived on the bridge.

At that mont, Reir was engaged in a low conversation with so dwarf officers, not yet noticing Luoer and the others’ arrival.

“Captain Reir, we have so questions about this operation.

Do you have a mont?” Luoer ca forward and asked straightforwardly.

“Ah, Captain Luoer, feel free to ask any questions,” Reir diverted his attention to them and politely responded upon noticing their arrival.

“Um…” Luoer hesitated as he looked at the dwarf officers huddled around him.

Reading Luoer’s expression, Reir understood, nodded, and whispered a few words in Dwarven.

The officers quickly dispersed.

“What’s your question?” Reir asked Luoer after the officers had departed.

“Captain Reir, how much do you know about Mr.

Mu Lansi?” Asked Luoer.

“His Excellency Mu Lansi…” Reir paused, then spoke, “His excellency Mu Lansi is the crown prince of Ronisca.

When the king abdicates, he will succeed the throne of Ronisca…”

“That’s not what I asked,” Luoer waved his hand and then bluntly asked him, “Mu Lansi is undoubtedly the crown prince of Ronisca, but all of Ronisca’s military power is currently held by Commander Mooer, so…”

“You…” Hearing Luoer’s words, Reir promptly showed a wary look, but though he had doubts in his heart, he soon put them aside.

Luoer is from headquarters and naturally knows about the internal factional struggle within Ronisca.

Though he may only be the captain of the Advance Team, from the experience of interacting with him over these past few days, Reir understood that Luoer held a high position within headquarters and was fully qualified to have access to this intelligence.

“What do you want to say?” Reir asked, his brow furrowed.

“I’m just guessing, Captain Reir,” Luoer looked at him and said, “Is it possible that Mu Lansi instigated the entire crew of the Asirens to defect?”

“Captain Luoer, everything should be based on evidence.

Groundlessly accusing His Excellency Mulansi of defection is slanderous.

Although our headquarters is an ally of Ronisca, this sort of joke is a bit too serious.” Reir looked at Luoer and cautioned.

“My teammate discovered during reconnaissance just now that your His Excellency Mulansi seems to have a good relationship with the robbers; he doesn’t appear to be under any duress,” Luoer said calmly.

“Your teammate?” Reir asked, his eyebrows furrowed.

“The Ghost!” Luoer briefly reminded.

Hearing Luoer’s words, Reir lowered his head and fell into deep thought.

His expression was complicated – puzzled, angry, and revealing a hint of shock.

“Captain Reir, you didn’t already know about this, did you?” Luoer looked at him, probing.

As he spoke, Luoer subtly gestured with the hand that was behind his back.

Noticing Luoer’s gesture, Cheng Ziang squinted his eyes and gently nudged Feng’s foot with his own.

Feng instantly understood, his right hand going to his left abdon, and the thumb of his left hand which held the knife discreetly pushing the hilt of his blade out of its sheath, ready to draw it.

After a long silence, Reir finally slowly raised his head, a determined expression on his face, appearing to have made up his mind.

He took a deep breath and asked Luoer, “If I’m not mistaken, your headquarters supports Commander Mooer’s bid for power, right?”

“We welco any cooperative forces.

Of course, this is only my personal view,” Luoer responded.

“Heh,” Reir laughed mockingly, then shaking his head said, “You needn’t beat around the bush, we know what you Shani people are thinking.

Commander Mooer supports Ronisca’s cooperation with headquarters, so naturally, you support him.

You claim not to interfere in Ronisca’s internal affairs, but you are constantly urging Commander Mooer to seize power in Ronisca.”

“Since you’ve gone so far as to bring this up, there’s no need for to hide anything,” Luoer laughed at his own expense, then looked at Reir and asked, “I want to know, in this power struggle, exactly where does Captain Reir stand?

Is it with Commander Mooer, or with Mu Lansi?”

“I am the commander of the Airship fleet!” Reir reminded.

“Well, that’s not certain.

You might not necessarily support Mu Lansi, but if it is confird that Mu Lansi did indeed instigate the Asirens to defect, you would have to be held responsible for this.

If I were you, I would have a lot to consider right now; regardless of who you originally aligned with, both are dangerous options for us,” Luoer finished, instinctively taking a step back.

“So you think I would silence you by killing you and covering up the truth?” Reir looked at Luoer and asked coldly.

“It’s better to be cautious when away from ho,” said Luoer, then casually raised his hand.

Behind him, a clang sounded as Feng silently drew his porcelain longsword.

“It seems that Captain Luoer is prepared for a desperate fight?” Reir looked at Feng’s longsword and said with a smile.

“It’s not about a desperate fight,” Luoer shrugged and said, “It seems you don’t quite understand the combat power of this young girl.

Just with her alone, we could kill off everyone on this airship, with no losses on our side.”

“What do you think I would do, Captain Luoer?” Reir looked at Luoer and asked coldly.

“If I were you, I would wipe out the entire Advance Team first, and then order the airship fleet to take down the Asirens directly, leaving no evidence.

As for what would happen afterwards, I think Captain Reir would understand better than .” Luoer shrugged again as he spoke.
