447: Chapter 440: The True Elf 447: Chapter 440: The True Elf “Where are you going?” Noah asked anxiously.

“South!” Luo’er pointed southward.

“Then, I’ll accompany you!” Noah thought briefly, and then raised her head to agree.

“Why would you accompany ?” Luo’er asked her.

“My ho is in that direction.

If you need to rest or sothing, I can help!” Noah replied.

“Your ho is there…” Luo’er gave her a glance, then nodded in understanding.

Many elves and half-elves live on the border of the Ancient States and Ilanadale.

Unwilling to abandon their half-elf children, they were rejected by Ilanadale and forced to live closest to ho on the border.

He was wondering what her reaction would be if Noah found out their identities.

However, even though they were cooperating with the Judgent Legion, the Advance Team didn’t intend to be enemies with the people of the Ancient States according to the headquarters’ directives.

In a sense, he and Noah weren’t enemies.

If they weren’t enemies, the problem would be much easier to solve.

If worse cos to worst, they could reveal their identities as mbers of the headquarters’ Advance Team.

Luo’er believed that even the people of the Ancient States would respect the headquarters.

“Alright, let’s go!” After so pondering, Luo’er agreed to her request.

“Let’s go, I’m familiar with this area!

I’ll show you the way!” Hearing Luo’er’s words, Noah showed her second smile then collected her pendant, leading the way in front of him.

anwhile, the remaining four mbers of the Advance Team and the Olavia Sisters made their way through the thorny path, incredibly, they detoured around the battlefield and reached the road.

There were no ambushes set by Theron here, but they still needed to be cautious.

The distant sounds of explosions and gunfire constantly echoed.

The fight between Theron and the Judgent Legion continues.

Cheng Ziang estimated that, considering the defenses of the 500 knights of Judgent, Theron wouldn’t be able to kill many knights, even by nightfall.

Without heavy weapons or armor-piercing weapons, Theron was actually passive against the Judgent Knights.

The knights, who could ignore bullets and storm at them with bayonets, were unstoppable, no matter how advanced Theron’s weapons were.

In fact, even Earth’s special forces wouldn’t be able to deal with these guys.

However, if they were pitted against regular armored troops, they could easily be bombarded into paste by superior firepower.

In the minds of the people of Earth, Theron is like a special forces or light infantry.

This type of formation is elite, but struggles against heavy armored troops.

The Earth’s Special Forces almost never succeeded in front-line combat against regular enemy forces.

This ti, although Theron ambushed them, their insufficient firepower made it difficult to eliminate the Judgent Legion’s active forces in a short ti.

The ambush advantage was now lost, Cheng Ziang speculated, and before long, Theron should retreat.

Taking advantage of the fight behind them, the Advance Team swiftly headed south while trying to reach the small village in the territory of the Ancient States before Theron’s retreat, and waited for Luo’er to regroup.

They were not part of the Judgent Legion, and they had beco bystanders since splitting from the Legion.

Quickly moving along the not-so-spacious forest trail, the group continued their journey.

Hu Daoke grumbled all the while.

Theron’s ambush had destroyed all of their transportations, forcing them to march on foot.

Had it been only four of them, their speed wouldn’t have taken much of a hit, but their current pace was significantly slowed due to the company of the Olavia Sisters.

With exigency at hand, Hu Daoke carried Olavia on his back and asked Cheng Ziang to carry Ona in order to speed up their march.

They didn’t know this chaotic journey might bring about unforeseen circumstances if they stayed here for too long.

After more than three hours of urgent marching, the group finally ca out of the dark primitive forest and saw the distant hills and grassland.

On the grassland sat a small village, nestled in this beautiful area.

Smoke rose from the chimneys of several wooden houses.

The surrounding vicinity of the village was made up of tilled fields, where several farrs labored diligently.

They were now several dozen kiloters away from the battlefield, and the sound of gunfire was no longer audible.

This place was like a secluded haven that seed to be untouched by the battles.

After exiting the original woods, Hu Daoke finally breathed a sigh of relief.

It was only then he heard Olavia’s rapid panting from his back.

“What’s wrong, Olavia?” Hu Daoke put her down only to see her pale face covered in cold sweat.

“My leg seems to have been bitten by sothing…” Olavia said difficultly, lips as white as a sheet.

“Let see!” Hu Daoke urgently lifted her pant leg and discovered two bloody holes that hadn’t been there before.

“A snake, quickly suck out the blood!” Cheng Ziang walked over, took a look, and then patted Hu Daoke’s back.

“Oh,” Hu Daoke nodded and put her on the ground.

Taking off a dagger from his waist, he lifted his head to look at her and said, “Olavia, hang in there!”

“I’ll do it!” Cheng Ziang waved his hand, drew a sharp flying knife from his waist.

Although it was a flying knife, the edge was exceptionally sharp.

Cheng Ziang was gradually transitioning away from it but still carried five flying knives for ergency use.

You could see Cheng Ziang swiftly made two cuts and created a cross on the wound.

Then he turned to Hu Daoke and asked, “You don’t have any ulcers in your mouth, do you?”

“No, don’t worry!” Hu Daoke nodded, then bent down to start sucking out the blood.

“When were you bitten?” Cheng Ziang turned his head and asked her.

“Just now…” Olavia said weakly.

“Why didn’t you say sothing!” Cheng Ziang asked with a furrowed brow.

“Co on, don’t bla her now.” Tangmo crouched beside her, gently wiped the sweat off her forehead, then looked at Cheng Ziang and said.

“If we found out any later, she’d have been dead.” Cheng Ziang shook his head and sighed.

“What kind of snake bit you?” Baiyue ca over and took out a box of anti-snake venom serum from the dical kit.

“Don’t rush, let’s first figure out how to get her to the village.” Cheng Ziang quickly waved his hand.

For this mission, headquarters had specially prepared anti-snake venom serum for them.

This stuff was more valuable than any spices or teas.

It was made from the venom of local snakes from Otherworld, which were captured with great difficulty by rchants commissioned by headquarters and transported back to Earth.

After about ten minutes of sucking out the blood, the blood that Hu Daoke spat out gradually returned to normal.

Baiyue quickly bandaged Olavia’s wound and then had Hu Daoke carry her.

They needed to get to the village to find a place to rest and treat Olavia’s wound.

Without wasting ti, the group continued on their journey towards the village.

As they approached the village, they noticed sothing unusual about it.

If they weren’t mistaken, it appeared that everyone working in the fields was a woman, each one slender and tall.

Despite being weather-worn, their skin remained fair.

Under their headscarves, their light-colored hair was especially eye-catching under the sunlight.

“Elves, they’re elves!” Having seen the people’s faces more clearly, Tangmo exclaid excitedly.

As she saw, those working in the fields were mostly elves, most of them were wood elves.

They had the sa features as Luo’er, with pointed and drooping ears.

Hearing Tangmo’s shout, one elf woman looked up at them.

Upon seeing the elf woman, almost everyone in the advance team was stunned by her beauty.

Even though she was dressed in coarse peasant clothing, her skin and features were exceptionally delicate, appearing to be in her early twenties.

With light-colored long hair and dark green pupils almost identical to Luo’er’s.

Although this elf woman appeared youthful on the outside, she embodied a strong aura of maturity, not that of a young little girl.

She looked intensely at the unexpected guests.

Though it was their first ti eting her, everyone in the advance team felt an unexplainable familiarity with her appearance, as if they had seen her sowhere before.

“They’re elves, my god!” Tangmo almost burst into tears of excitent.

“Who are you?” The elf woman, clutching a hoe, looked at the group with a wary gaze.

Her voice was sensual and mature, clearly beyond her appearance.

“Well, miss, we’re in a bit of a hurry, could you help us?” Hu Daoke, carrying Olavia, stepped forward excitedly.

“Miss?” Hearing this address, the elf woman couldn’t help but chuckle, her laugh montarily stunning them.

“What happened to her?” Seeing Olavia in Hu Daoke’s arms, the elf woman’s smile faded.

She stepped forward to ask about her condition.

“She got bitten by a venomous snake, can you help us?” Hu Daoke asked anxiously.

“Are you…Theron?” The elf woman scrutinized each one of them, asking cautiously.

“Uh, yes, yes!” Everyone hesitated a bit, then vigorously nodded.

“All right, follow !” The elf woman nodded, put down her hoe, dexterously hopped over the fence, and gestured for everyone to follow her towards the village.

“Yue’er, Yue’er, that’s an elf, a real elf.

Oh my god, she’s so beautiful, just like Luo’er!” Along the way, Tangmo grabbed Baiyue’s hand and excitedly said.

“I see, Sister Moumou…” Baiyue replied sowhat helplessly.

Clearly, Tangmo was one of those elf lovers, eting elves for the first ti had really stirred her up.

Having perhaps overheard their conversation, the elf woman in front turned around to glance at them with a furrowed brow.

Baiyue’s heart skipped a beat…

Could she understand Chinese?
