237: Chapter 230: New Plan 237: Chapter 230: New Plan “Listen well, Kali,” Luo’er coughed once, and then said to her, “We’ve already rescued you, but we currently have a mission to carry out, so we can’t always take you with us.

So…”

“It’s fine, you don’t have to treat as a friend, just command like a slave.” Kali thought Luo’er was going to abandon her, so she quickly waved her hand to express her loyalty.

“No, Kali, let finish,” Luo’er said seriously, “You’re our friend, not a slave, this will never change, and we won’t leave you behind.

But we have a mission, and we can’t always take you with us.

So we’ll arrange for you to stay at our base where you won’t get hurt.”

“Base?” Kali seed very unfamiliar with this term.

“Yes, in Yazhi City.

As early as tomorrow morning, we’ll arrange for you to go to Yazhi City by ship.

Once you get there, I’ll tell you how to find those people, and they’ll take you to the base,” Luo’er said.

“Aren’t you coming with ?” Kali asked worriedly.

“Sorry, we can’t leave for now, but when we’ve completed our mission, we’ll co back to see you!” Luo’er said.

“You’ll co back, right?” Kali asked.

“Yes!” Luo’er nodded.

“Thank you for everything you’ve done for .” Kali bowed deeply, sincerely thanking them.

“No, you’ve helped us a lot, we won’t abandon a friend like you!” Luo’er seriously said.

“I helped you, but you have also helped a lot, neither of us owes the other anything,” Kali said with her head lowered, biting her lips.

“Affection isn’t like money where you have to pay back what is lent,” Cheng Ziang said while looking at her, “It’s like water.

When your hand leaves water, it’s still wet.

That’s what affection is.”

“I don’t understand!” Kali said weakly.

“Alright!” Cheng Ziang closed his mouth.

“Alright, go rest with them.

Tomorrow morning we’ll arrange for you to go to Yazhi City,” Luo’er said.

“Thank you, thank you so much.” Kali thanked them again.

“How are you planning to arrange this?” After sending the three girls away, Cheng Ziang couldn’t help but ask.

“I’ll connect with the traders and let them know that we need to transport an important person back to the base.

Then I’ll use a magic ssenger to communicate with the people there and have them pick her up!” Luo’er outlined his plan.

“You’ll need to coordinate well, or it would be awkward if they pick up the wrong person!” Hu Daoke said.

“Yes, I know, so I’m planning to give her a token.

Once they see the token, they shouldn’t make a mistake,” Luo’er contemplated.

In the evening, Kali was invited to sleep with Tangmo.

Seeing her, Tangmo couldn’t help but recall her experience at the Magic Academy.

“What’s wrong, Sister Moumou?” Seeing Tangmo’s entranced expression, Kali asked.

“Do you still rember who I am to you?” Tangmo, thinking of this, asked with a grin.

“Oh, Audrey…big sister!” Hesitant, Kali responded.

“It’s little sister Audrey, big sister Kali!” Tangmo held her and said with a big smile.

“You’re older than , just call little sister Kali!” Kali said quietly.

Tangmo stroked her sowhat wilted hair, and asked with so heartache: “What happened after we disappeared?”

“After you went missing, the academy asked about your whereabouts.

Then the matter of you pretending to be my sister was exposed, the king stripped of my nobility and threw into prison,” Kali responded truthfully.

“It was all a play put up by the king himself, and they made you the scapegoat!” Thinking of Gudelv’s conspiracy, Tangmo gritted her teeth in anger.

“A play?” Kali looked at her with a puzzled expression.

“Never mind, it’s just politics.

We’ll protect you in the future!” Tangmo asserted firmly.

“I understand, thank you, uh, Sister Moumou!” Kali said.

“You can also call big sister Audrey!” Tangmo said with a smile.

Early the next morning, the group brought Kali to the port and found the rchant ship headed to Yazhi City.

The owner of the ship was still a mber of their intelligence network and an informant for the headquarters.

After so communication, he agreed to take Kali back to the base and hand her over to the people at headquarters.

With the informant’s escort, they felt sowhat more at ease than if Kali were to return alone.

Tangmo had already communicated with the headquarters, and they agreed to send people to receive her.

As soon as the ship docked, they could take Kali back to the base, ensuring the smooth progress of the operation.

Soon, Kali got on board the ship headed to Yazhi City.

After waving goodbye to everyone, she would travel by boat to Yazhi City.

The journey, going upstream along the Roen River, is expected to take about four or five days.

Fortunately, everything was well arranged by Luo’er and the headquarters.

Once the ship docked, staff from the headquarters boarded the ship and took Kali away, putting her on a carriage headed to the base.

After a few hours on the road, the carriage smoothly arrived at the base, and Kali was also brought into the office, where Wang Xu and Li Si were waiting.

“Ah, how did Luo’er bring another little girl here.” Wang Xu suddenly thought of Yaning, looking at Kali, he couldn’t help but shake his head.

“Doing this is kind of…you know,” Li Si hesitated, “after all, this place is headquarters, not a shelter.”

“Luo’er said Kali helped the advance team a lot, so technically, the headquarters owes her a favor.” Wang Xu scratched his head.

“But this place isn’t really appropriate for accommodating people, we should send her to Secrete Manor.” Li Si suggested.

They were conversing in Chinese, so Kali didn’t understand a word.

She just watched them anxiously.

“No need,” Wang Xu waved his hand and then said, “I’ve just thought of a plan!”

“Plan,” Li Si froze for a mont before quickly realizing, “You an, the new plan of the headquarters…”

“Well, this plan will have to comnce sooner or later, might as well use this little girl for an experint now!” Wang Xu nodded and said.

“But she has already…” Li Si hesitated for a mont, then involuntarily glanced at Kali.

“What’s your na?” Wang Xu asked her.

“Kali!”

“How old are you this year?”

“I don’t know, Sister Moumou said I haven’t reached…

puberty yet!” Kali was still unfamiliar with the term puberty.

“Sister Moumou?

Aren’t you afraid of us?” Wang Xu continued to ask.

“Not scared!” Kali truthfully replied.

“Why?”

“Luo’er said, you all wouldn’t harm !” Kali answered.

Wang Xu snorted and let out a smile.

He and Li Si exchanged a glance, then continued, “Do you know what kind of people we are?”

“I know, you are people from the Otherworld!” Kali said.

“So Luo’er has already explained to you.” Saying this, they exchanged another glance.

The fact that Luo’er would openly reveal his identity to her indicated that he trusted this girl a lot.

Although it broke the rules, they decided not to report it, considering Kali’s behavior.

“What do you think?” Wang Xu glanced at Li Si and asked.

“Hmm,” Li Si nodded, “This girl indeed has potential.

She ets the requirents of this plan!”

“Well then, let’s make arrangents.

Before the plan rolls out, let’s use this girl to test the waters first!” Wang Xu said.

“Then, the superiors…” Li Si hesitated to ask.

“Don’t tell them for now, it won’t be too late to report when we see results!” Wang Xu waved his hand.

“Should I go make the arrangents now?” Li Si asked.

“Go!” Wang Xu nodded.

After Li Si left, Wang Xu turned to Kali and asked, “Do you think we can be trusted?”

“Yes, Luo’er said you all can be trusted!” Kali answered.

“Not Luo’er, do YOU think so?” Wang Xu insisted.

“Eh,” Kali was stunned for a mont, then after a brief silence, she firmly said, “I think you all can be trusted!”

“Why?” Wang Xu asked.

“Because you all were willing to take back.” Kali said.

Wang Xu looked at her blankly, then broke into a smile, “You really are as Luo’er described, grateful.”

“Grateful?” Kali didn’t understand his comnt.

“Anyway, just believe that we won’t harm you!” Wang Xu said.

“Thank you for taking in!” Kali stood up and bowed seriously.

“You’re quite well-mannered.

You have potential!” Wang Xu nodded satisfactorily.

“So, what should I do here?” Kali asked uncertainly, standing in one place.

“You don’t have to do anything, just live well here.

Food and clothing will be provided, you don’t have to worry.

We just have a plan we would like you to be part of, would you be willing?” Wang Xu asked.

“A plan?” Kali asked, looking confused.

“We can’t say for now, but don’t worry.

It’s not a dangerous plan!” Wang Xu waved.

“I’m willing!” Kali blurted out without a mont’s hesitation.

“You haven’t even thought about it yet.” Wang Xu said.

“I’ve thought about it, you all saved my life.

I’m willing to do whatever you want!” Kali affird.

Wang Xu looked at her, then couldn’t help but sigh, “It seems like this plan would suit you well.”

He paused for a mont, then said seriously, “Kali, listen carefully.

The favor you’ve done for Luo’er, is a favor to our entire organization.

Rember this, we won’t do anything to harm you.

The plan you’ll be participating in might be painful.

But trust , once you get through this, your life will see drastic changes.”

“Thank you!” Kali sincerely said.

“Boss, arrangents have been made!” Li Si entered and said.

“Hmm,” Wang Xu nodded and then said to Kali, “You follow him.

He will arrange for your accommodation.

Take good rest for a few days, and then we will comnce the plan!”
