1078: Chapter 1071: Convincing Mother 1078: Chapter 1071: Convincing Mother “She, this, Luo’er…” Nina stared, wide-eyed, looking from Luo’er to Fulajie’er, and remained speechless for a long while, unable to recover her composure.

“Mom, if you believe in her existence, then you should believe in your son,” Luo’er said.

“Could this be…

magic?” Nina took a deep breath, stepped forward with caution, and reached out to touch Fulajie’er.

But her hand quickly passed through Fulajie’er’s body, shocking her even further.

“You could say that.

Fulajie’er is a demigod; Tana is a true god.

But regardless of which, they are both manifestations of magic,” Luo’er explained.

“I don’t understand…” Nina said, trying to mimic Luo’er by cupping her hands.

Seeing this, Fulajie’er obediently leaped from Luo’er’s palm, spun around in mid-air, and landed firmly in Nina’s palm.

“Fulajie’er was created by binding a soul using magical power to beco a demigod, artificially created like Tana, and thus bounded by certain restrictions.

But either way, their primary composition is magical power,” Luo’er continued to explain.

“Incredible…” Nina murmured to herself.

“If Luoya, that girl, were here, she’d understand.

Tana is sowhat similar to the artificial intelligence concept from Earth.

Therefore, her actions are as strict as those of any program; many things she could do she doesn’t because the program doesn’t allow it.

Like, for example, killing outright,” Luo’er said.

“What did you say?” Upon hearing the words ‘kill ,’ Nina, who had relaxed a bit, tensed up again.

“Mom, don’t worry,” Luo’er reassured, waving his hand, “Tana is constrained by program limitations and can’t outright kill because it goes against the rules set by her creators.

Of course, the concept of a program might be confusing to you; let use another term—divinity.”

“Divinity?” Nina asked.

“Yes, divinity.

Only those with divinity can beco true gods,” Luo’er said, “Like Fulajie’er, even if she completes the final step, she cannot beco a true god, because she is human, and humans have desires, which are the antithesis of divinity.

Thus, no matter how hard Fulajie’er tries, she cannot beco a true deity.”

“Hey, Luo’er, I don’t want to beco a true god, I want to be with you.

Also, I don’t have any desires…” Fulajie’er argued.

“It’s just a taphor, I know you don’t want to beco a god,” Luo’er coughed awkwardly before continuing, “Moreover, desire isn’t a derogatory term; everyone has desires, and so do I.”

“Does your desire include ?” Fulajie’er asked excitedly.

“Ahem, we’re getting off-topic,” Luo’er coughed again, then turned to Nina and asked in all seriousness, “Mom, you understand what I’m saying now, right?”

“You’ve found another girl…” Nina said, eyeing him solemnly.

“Eh, no, it’s not that, I…” Luo’er stood there, at a loss for words.

“Well, no need to say more, Mom is not blaming you, and besides, Mom knows my Luo’er is loved by the whole world,” Nina said with a wave of her hand and a smile.

“Mom, then you…” Luo’er looked at her hesitantly.

Nina looked down, her gaze dimming before she asked with a touch of sadness, “So, is it the destiny of the Elf Race to beco a dium for other races, to assimilate into other groups?”

“That’s not how you should see it,” Luo’er said, “The genes of the Elf Race are dominant, and more often, it is the Elf Race that turns others into half-elves.”

“It still feels like self-consolation,” Nina said, forcing a wry smile.

“Mom…” Luo’er moved a step closer.

“All right, Mom understands now, and Mom comprehends your intentions,” Nina said as she approached Luo’er and affectionately stroked his head, squinting and speaking softly, “Although Mom was with you for less than ten years, I know your character well.

You are nothing like your father, but from you, I can always see his shadow.

Mom knows, although you grew up on Earth, your heart is here, with Mom, with Ilanadale, so Mom believes what you’ve said.

Child, whatever you want to do, go ahead, Mom will support you unconditionally.”

“Mom!” Overwheld by the mont, Luo’er didn’t know what to say; he could only hug Nina tightly.

“In the blink of an eye, my Luo’er has grown as tall as his father; how wonderful that is.

Child, cherish your happiness, and don’t wait until it’s gone to have regrets.

Mom won’t ddle in your affairs; just decide everything for yourself,” Nina said tenderly, stroking Luo’er’s soft hair and smiling with her eyes closed.

“Mom, what are you referring to?” Luo’er let go of Nina, asking sowhat embarrassedly.

“What else could it be?

Are you going to play dumb with your mom too?” Nina said with a smile.

“Mom…” Luo’er found himself at a loss for words and could only lower his head in sha.

“Alright, let’s not talk about that anymore,” Nina smiled, then said sternly, “Mom will find a way to get you all out of here.

Just do as I say when the ti cos.

Let take care of everything.”

“Mom, if you do that, about the Queen…” Luo’er asked worriedly.

“Don’t worry, silly child,” Nina touched his cheek and said with a smile, “Your grandmother, she only has this one daughter.

She won’t do anything to Mom.

You can rest easy.”

“Mom, if anything happens to you, you must co to find .

I’d risk my life to help you,” Luo’er said seriously, holding her hand.

“What nonsense are you talking about, silly child?

How could anything happen to Mom,” Nina frowned slightly and chided, “Don’t speak such inauspicious words.

Living well is the best help you could give .”

“Anyway, Tana certainly won’t let things go easily.

Mom, you must be careful,” Luo’er said.

“Alright, rest assured, Mom will be careful.

Stay here for a few days and wait for the good news from ,” Nina said, gazing at Luo’er with a smile.

In the end, she turned her head to look at Fulajie’er, who was flying in mid-air, and after pondering for a mont, she turned to Luo’er and asked, “I’d like to have a chat with this little girl.

May I take her with ?”

“Oh, yes, she can co back by herself,” Luo’er nodded eagerly.

With Luo’er’s approval, Nina turned to look at Fulajie’er and then asked with a smile, “Little girl, would you like to co with for a bit?”

“Eh, where are you taking ?” Fulajie’er blinked her big eyes, looking at Luo’er then back at Nina.

She wasn’t worried about her own safety because her life was bound to Luo’er’s, and Luo’er hadn’t given the pendant to Nina, only asked her to go with her.

And as long as one beca a god, they were virtually invincible, so Fulajie’er didn’t worry about her own safety.

“I want to borrow you for a few days to talk about Luo’er,” Nina said.

“About Luo’er?

Sure!” Fulajie’er agreed without hesitation.

“You…,” Luo’er sighed, speechless at her behavior.

“Mom is leaving, rember, since you’re living under soone else’s roof, you must be cautious in your words and actions and not get into trouble.

Mum will find a way to help you,” Nina turned back and said to Luo’er.

“Got it, we’ll be careful,” Luo’er nodded.

Reassured, Nina left the room with the disintegrated Fulajie’er.

As soon as she walked down the stairs, Cheng Ziang and the others rushed in.

He looked at Luo’er, then at the direction Nina had left, and asked, “Is everything settled?”

“It’s settled.

My mom will find a way to help us,” Luo’er nodded and said.

“Won’t Mom be in danger by helping us like this?” Tangmo asked, sowhat worried.

“Don’t worry.

My mom is Ilanadale’s only Princess.

If the Queen has any desire to continue the royal lineage through Ilanadale, she won’t harm her,” Luo’er reassured.

“But what about Tana?

Won’t she do sothing to Mom?” Baiyue said, worried.

It seed they hadn’t realized themselves that when Luo’er and they spoke of Nina, they didn’t say “my mom” but “Mom.” Thus, Luo’er’s aning was clear—he had already accepted Nina as their mother by default.
