Nephis attracted one orc after the other and in the blink of an eye Arthur and his Calamities had dealt with more than twenty orcs.
Funny enough the orcs didn’t seem to realize what was happening and every one of them easily gave in to anger, chasing after the shadow and running straight to their death.
Still, Arthur was happy about this.
At least he didn’t have to endure any pressure.
In the sa manner they dragged out the remaining orcs leaving only three of them.
No longer willing to be the side character, the mont they dealt with the orc, Titan grunted and took heavy steps into the cave.
Clanggggg.
As he walked he dragged along his golden sword causing sparks to fly around and the grating sound of tal scraping against the ground to echo in the surroundings.
Arthur glanced speechlessly at Titan, and even Nephis felt exasperated.
"He doesn’t want to get outshined by . Proving his worth to you, showing he’s still useful and strong enough." Nephis laughed and explained what was already in Arthur’s mind.
Arthur noticed a blackish aura of Calamity cloaking Titan’s body as he stepped into the cave.
A cold chill spread into the surroundings and within barely thirty seconds Titan stepped out still dragging the golden sword as he walked.
Green orc blood was splattered around Titan’s golden dragon armor.
Titan stared at Arthur and his golden eyes glinted ferociously.
Arthur gave him a thumbs up looking impressed.
Rubbing his bald head he said:
"Let’s go and clear out the remaining orcs. Having dealt with the ones here, it shouldn’t be difficult handling the others."
Titan nodded and Nephis quickly blended into Arthur’s shadow.
Titan followed behind Arthur like a silent protector dragging his sword behind him.
The noise was loud enough to attract the attention of the remaining orcs in the surroundings, but it was exactly what Titan wanted.
Before long, an orc had been attracted by the noise.
The ground quaked and rocks splintered outward as the massive orc raced toward Arthur, a huge hamr in its grasp swinging around without a care in the world.
Titan snorted and stepped forward, swinging the huge golden sword onto the creature.
Bang.
A thunderous explosion occurred as the orc used the hamr to block the attack.
Instantly, lightning crackled around Titan’s arm and imdiately the orc was engulfed in a shower of purple arcs of electricity.
The orc let out a low groan and its movents beca stiff as it tried to deal with the destructive might of the attack.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Titan swung his sword down once more.
Bang.
A thunderous explosion occurred as the orc was cleaved in two, unable to defend against the attack this ti due to the distraction.
The green blood splashed outward as the orc collapsed to the ground.
Titan stared intently at the orc before silently walking behind Arthur like he hadn’t done anything.
Arthur felt confident internally and increased his speed as they walked.
Before long, they reached the location of another orc.
Titan didn’t hesitate to imdiately release all sorts of attacks onto the orc.
Swish.
The mont he destroyed the head of the orc a line of golden words appeared in Arthur’s line of sight.
[Congratulations! Your Calamity has leveled up to Level 16 after an arduous struggle, increasing the strength of the Chaotic Draconic Knight Physique.]
[From all the arsenal of elents in the world, your Calamity can select one, forcefully awakening the fourth elent without the need to comprehend or suffer any negative side effects in the process.]
Arthur was stunned by the notification in front of him.
He stared at Titan dumbfounded.
Naturally, he was aware of the fact that upon crossing Level 15 one would awaken their Physique and their strengths would diversify so more, however he was still startled that it also applied to his summoned Calamity.
A glow of excitent appeared on Arthur’s face as he rubbed his bald head in anticipation.
He relayed the information to Titan and also silently asked the system internally.
’System, how can he choose which elent he wants?’
[He should focus on his consciousness and all the elental traces will be revealed to his spiritual consciousness. Then he can choose the one he wants.]
Hearing the system’s words Arthur’s eyes flashed in surprise as he reiterated the information to the Dragon Knight.
Titan’s eyes flickered with a calculating light and his golden gaze seed to contain all sorts of images.
A new world appeared to him and all sorts of elents revealed themselves.
In his line of sight, multicolored lights flickered with an unsettling feeling.
Titan could sense all kinds of elents including ones he didn’t know existed.
Titan stared in a daze as countless elents flickered around him.
Space... unique fires... strange lightning, Destruction elent, Death elent, Life elent, and so many more.
Titan was unsure of which one to select but instinctively he could feel he didn’t have much ti left so he reached out to the one he felt was one of the most destructive.
He glanced at the surroundings and finally chose the one his heart was being drawn to the most.
Instantly, a chill shot through Titan’s body as a silvery glow surfaced around him.
A devastating pressure crashed onto him bringing him to one knee in an instant.
Titan’s eyes flickered with defiance as he grunted coldly, struggling to endure the pressure.
The pressure lasted for a long ti before finally a line of words materialized in Arthur’s line of sight.
[Congratulations, your Calamity has defied the heavens and comprehended Ti elent. Along the line, due to his sheer determination, your Calamity has also succeeded in comprehending the Space elent.]
[Please note and refrain from using the Ti elent as much as possible in order not to attract unwanted forces and corrupt this tiline.]
Normally the system’s voice would be sounding seductive but this ti the system sounded so serious that Arthur knew he couldn’t take the words lightly at all.
Arthur glanced in Titan’s direction.
The towering Dragon Knight who was previously kneeling stood up and glanced at the orc, his eyes flickering with a silvery glow.
Titan could feel a mysterious new energy coursing through his limbs and he couldn’t help facing the orc.
Before Arthur could say anything Titan took a step forward and appeared in front of the dead orc’s body.
The Space elent.
Arthur’s pupils shrank and excitent appeared on his face upon witnessing the Space elent firsthand.
Just as Arthur was appreciating the beauty of the Space elent, Titan stretched his hand.
Imdiately an immaterial aura spread.
Arthur’s eyes widened in shock as he noticed a slight distortion appearing at the place Titan was pointing at.
[Reversing life and death. Stop him now!]
The system’s voice snapped through Arthur’s thoughts.
"Titan!" Arthur shouted without hesitation causing Titan to freeze in his tracks.
Titan paused in his movents and turned toward Arthur with curiosity in his golden eyes.
"What are you trying to do? Don’t use your Ti elent for now, except it concerns my life and death," Arthur declared sternly.
Titan stared at Arthur intently before slowly nodding and bringing his hand down.
’System, what would have happened if he reversed the laws of life and death and brought the orc back to life?’ Arthur couldn’t help asking internally.
The system was silent for a mont before answering.
[I... can’t answer that for now. All I’ll tell you is that it would attract forces you shouldn’t be facing.]
[At least not for now.]
Arthur was bewildered, sensing so sort of hidden intent beneath the system’s last words.
Narrowing his eyes slightly, he didn’t say anything to the system anymore and instead turned to Titan.
With the serious atmosphere settled Arthur stared at Titan.
"Congratulations on comprehending the Space elent, big guy."
Titan’s eyes flickered with so emotions, feeling the sincerity behind Arthur’s words.
At least now he could protect Arthur from an even closer distance without the need to worry as much.
Arthur’s shadow rippled and Nephis materialized, however there was a little pout on her face.
"Not fair. Titan got a unique upgrade while I’m still stuck at Level Eleven."
Arthur had never seen this side of her causing him to be speechless.
"Don’t worry," he consoled her, "with a few more level ups you’ll also have your unique upgrade."
Nephis’ eyes lit up as she stared at Arthur like an excited little girl.
"Really?"
Arthur shrugged then nodded.
With a faint, sweet smile Nephis excitedly cheered.
"In that case leave the remaining orcs to to handle."
She turned to Titan and glared at him under her dark veil.
"Especially you, Eldest Brother. At least let your Little Sister grow."
Titan’s eyes flickered with golden light as he nodded slowly, acknowledging her words.
He had been too focused on gaining enough strength to protect the Master that he had forgotten about his siblings.
It seed he had to consider everything from this mont on.
"Alright." Arthur raised his hand exasperatedly.
"Let’s finish clearing this dungeon so we can leave. I’m already tired of staying in this sunny environnt for who knows how long. I really need a long nap."
Arthur yawned as he spoke, feeling it had been a long ti since he had a good rest.
Nephis and Titan nodded and the two imdiately stopped discussing, instead leading the way to explore the dungeon.
