248. They broke her
“That was close, I lost four hearts.” Kakuzu comnted while looking towards Hinata. If it weren’t for her focusing on Neji in rage they might have lost. In the end, her inexperience led to her death, not like Kakuzu cared all that much about it.
“What a great offering for Jashin!” Hidan began laughing boisterously. At least he did until out of nowhere he found himself looking at a pair of purple eyes with golden markings. His back against one of the many massive earthen spikes.
“He isn’t the only one with more than one heart.” Hinata comnted while pointing towards the stunned Kakuzu with her thumb. She had feigned death when Hidan destroyed her heart. The reason she was still alive was due to the second heart Tomoka had installed in her. After the Kage summit Tomoka had decided to give herself and Nozomi a bunch of cybernetics.
That didn’t an it didn’t hurt. Although they had gotten a bunch of cybernetic enhancents Tomoka refused to give them pain editors arguing that they would dull their abilities. So yeah, she was in a lot of pain from having her heart pierced, pain she would pain Hidan a hundred fold.
Before anyone could react Hinata began pumling Hidan, each punch strong enough to cause the earthen spike behind him to crack. Impact after impact in a matter of milliseconds. By the ti Obito and Kakuzu could react, Hidan's torso had turned into ground beef.
“Eat lead you filthy casual.” As Obito and Kakuzu moved to try and do anything Hinata’s first impact was against Hidan’s face. A mont after impact, an ember celica discharged. Hidan’s head exploded sending bits of bone and brain matter flying everywhere. Who knew if that would be enough to kill him, but at least that would keep him out of the fight.
“Two down, two left.” Hinata’s expression was that of a sadistic grin sending shivers down her enemy’s spines. How were they supposed to kill her now? Their plan had failed, the girl had sohow survived having her heart destroyed. If she were to be believed then that’s because she had another one.
Seeing that the battle was lost Obito quickly escaped to his dinsion, leaving Kakuzu alone with the girl. Kakuzu wanted to curse Obito, he could have taken him as well, or at least he should have tried. Now all Kakuzu could do was try and negotiate for his life. As he opened his mouth to speak Hinata appeared in front of him while holding his jaw.
“Don’t tell you will try to give up, cause I won’t let you.” She wanted to kill Obito as well but the coward had escaped. Well, his death would co in ti anyway. Not to ntion Nozomi would be a bit annoyed with her if she were to take her prey from her.
Kakuzu’s eyes widened, he was going to die here, no other way around it. He tried to use his threads to invade Hinata’s body in a last ditch attempt to save his life. All futile in the end as the girl easily used her dojutsu to destroy them. Gravity isn’t the only thing she can control.
By reversing the laws of entropy she could force heat to move against its natural order. In other words, Kakuzu’s threads began absorbing the head from its surroundings. Not only that but she could make a ss of other laws of physics. The more Kakuzu tried to move his threats the worse things beca.
Hinata reversed the threads kinetic energy vectors, she forced all that energy to continue bouncing within. Be it heat, kinetic, magnetic or any other type of energy she was forcefully containing it within Kakuzu’s body. With each second that ticked by, Kakuzu began feeling more and more pain as his body was torn apart from within.
By the fifth second Kakuzu’s body couldn’t be recognized as it began disintegrating into dust. The only reason Hinata could do this was thanks to the limitless chakra Tomoka was providing to her, or at least she thought it was limitless. A few minutes after getting rid of Kakuzu Hinata felt that seemingly endless pool of chakra drying up. There was still a lot there, a little over one and a half tis her whole pool. Even so, compared to before, it felt like nothing.
“Tomoka, are you alright?” Deciding to simply ask, Hinata contacted Tomoka using the phantom still within herself.
“Yhea, I’m peachy, why?” Hearing Tomoka’s nonchalant tone Hinata felt releaf. She knew that in reality, even if soone managed to annihilate Tomoka’s body she would be fine. That didn’t an she wouldn’t worry though.
“Your chakra, I have never felt it get so low.” While Hinata talked with Tomoka she took a shot of instant heal from her waist pack. Although having her original heart damaged wouldn’t kill her it still hurts.
“Oh! That… I might or might not have gone a bit overboard. My chakra pathways are wrecked right now, they will finish healing in like half an hour to an hour.” That made sense, at least it made sense to Hinata.
anwhile on another battlefield Nozomi blinked her eyes rapidly trying to blink the many, many, black spots in her vision. Her body felt sore having to chanel so much chakra into her susanoo to defend herself and Itachi from Deidara’s suicide attack. Looking around she could see even a bit remaining of either Kisa or Sasori.
Looking to her side where her susanoo held Itachi he could see the man on the edge of death. Dude had blood trickling down the side of his mouth while his eyes were cloudy and unfocused. Sighing Nozomi dispelled her susanoo after placing itachi on the still hot floor. Taking a mont she injected the man with an insta-heal not wanting him to die yet.
As much as she disliked the man for what he had done in the past she would leave his punishnt to his sister. With that done, Nozomi asked for transport so that Itachi could be taken back to Yggdrasil. The man shouldn’t be waking any ti soon. Though he would get healed his chakra wouldn’t be instantly recovered so he would still be knocked out from exhaustion.
As she finished, Nozomi felt Tomoka’s chakra dropping to really low levels. Thinking about it for a mont she decided to contact her and ask about it. As she did she heard Tomoka’s conversation with Hinata as the phantom within her linked in.
“Well, looks like we are all done with our fights.” Taking advantage of the lull in the conversation Nozomi decided to make her presence known, not like they didn’t know she was listening already but it was better like this.
“Now what?” Hearing Hinata’s question, Nozomi remained quiet. She didn’t know what Tomoka was planning. She knew that the crazy girl was playing for both sides of the conflict sohow. Besides that however, she was as much in the dark as Hinata, not like it bothered. She had a lot of fun in her fight so there were no complaints from her.
“Now, we play with the big toys!” Hearing that both Hinata and Nozomi were both confused and excited. Confused because they didn’t understand what Tomoka ant, excited because whatever she called big toys sounded like a lot of fun.
In an instant both girls were teleported next to Tomoka who had also teleported to their new location. Heavy rain fell constantly, no grass beneath their feet, instead mud clung to their shoes. Just from that both girls had an idea of where they were. That however wasn’t important. What was important instead was the sight of seven gigantic beasts in front of them.
“The biju.” Hinata whispered. All of them had their eyes looking like rinegans. Behind the chakra beasts was the gedo statue with Konan and each of the six paths of pain standing on the fingers. The statue had its mouth wide open absorbing the chakra from a pair of containers.
“They are almost done, once the statue finishes absorbing the chakra in those containers the ten tails will live once again.” Tomoka comnted with a smile on her face. It had taken a bit of effort to get things set up. However, for the ti being she would get to play with the biju while she waits for them to finish.
“What? We have to stop them.” Hinata said quickly while turning to look towards Tomoka. Seeing the girl with a proud and amused smile she thought about it for a mont before giving her a glare.
“You planned for this to happen didn’t you.”
“Yep.” Receiving her answer Hinata just sighed. Since this was part of Tomoka’s plan anyway then there was no reason for her to worry. That didn’t an she wasn’t annoyed for being kept in the dark.
“You look cute when you pout.” Tomoka’s comnt only made Hinata’s pout more prominent. anwhile Nozomi was getting more and more excited. She had an idea of what Tomoka was planning on doing right now and it made her blood boil.
“So, what are we going to do?” Not being able to contain her excitent any further Nozomi asked, receiving a sowhat playful sowhat wicked smile from Tomoka. The next mont a trio of scrolls appeared in Tomoka's hands.
“Put so chakra in those.” That was all the explanation she gave before throwing each girl a scroll. Doing as they were told both girls injected so chakra into the scrolls. A mont later three gigantic smoke clouds ca to be before dissipating. In their place three humanoid behemoths of tal and science stood in place.
“This is so AWESO!” Nozomi shouted inside her own jaeger. She had piloted the thing once or twice inside simulations but doing so in real life was another beast altogether. So what if using her susanoo was a similar experience. Red and Green apples are still apples but no one would say they are the sa!
“Get ready girls! Jaegers versus kaij- I an bijus!” Tomoka shouted in her own cabin as her jaeger booted up and got into a fighting position. Seeing this Hinata quickly got ready before activating her own jaeger.
“Alright, with this you are forgiven for not telling about your plan, this is super aweso!” In a mont all three jaegers took their stances as the seven controlled bijus began moving towards them.
Back inside the alliance HQ all present couldn’t help shiver in fright. Seeing Tomoka play with their predecessors like they were nothing more than toys made them all realize how powerful the girl is, or so they thought. When the screen lit up as if the sun had decided to drop onto earth they beca truly terrified. Once the intense light from Tomoka’s jutsu dissipated, the Kages saw the girl once again moving like a blur.
A mont later they saw Tomoka disappear only for the screen to switch to another sight. This one made those present to almost faint in panic. They saw seven bijus with their eyes purple with concentric circles. Not only that but they saw the gedo statue and how its last two eyes were slowly opening as it absorbed chakra from two containers.
They remained silent contemplating what they could possibly do. That is until the cara zood in on the trio of girls looking towards the bijus and statue before the entire area got covered in smoke. Then they saw the appearance of the jaegers, not like they knew what they were or how they were called.
“Fuck this, I need a drink.” The stunned silence was broken by Tsunade’s outburst as she unsealed a five liter bottle of sake before downing half of it nonstop. Once she finished gulping loudly she found herself being stared at by the rest of those present.
“What!? I am not sharing any, get your own.” Having said that she once again got to loudly gulping from the massive bottle. She wanted to get drunk and forget everything about the day for her own sanity.
