His brows furrowed in surprise and he was about to follow the direction the voice ca from when Eric Lance suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Mr. Adler, you have a phone call. They say it’s an ergency."

Without thinking twice, Jett took the phone and walked back to the parking lot with Eric following behind him.

Behind the building, Daniel was pressing down hard on Gordon Syklar’s chest with the sole of his shoe.

When the people around heard him, they gave him strange looks.

Only a few people could boldly say what he just said.

The mayor literally controlled every part of the city and as his secretary, Gordon was quite influential and his words were taken for it given he was seen as the mayor’s mouth piece.

"What? Do we now have thugs dressed as civilized people in our midst?"

"Stupid thugs too. Not only are they where they aren’t supposed to be, they also have the guts to do this to the mayor’s secretary and family."

"If the mayor hears of this. Heh! I can already see this stupid mutt’s funeral!"

Daniel paid no heed to them and continued pressing down on Gordon Syklar who was squirming underneath him trying to shove his foot away all to no avail.

He was being embarrassed in public by a man he deed not worthy to clean his shoes. He could already see the humiliating news headlines that’d be all over the internet tomorrow.

Realizing there was no way to get up, he held onto Daniel’s foot and threatened, "Act as tall and mighty as you want because this will be your first and last ti. Once the police gets here, i will make sure you die a horrible..."

He was still talking when Daniel moved his foot by stuffing the pointed tip of his shoe into Gordon’s mouth.

He then tilted his head to the side and frowned slightly.

"What is this? I don’t rember telling you you could talk. Do you no longer have any use for your tongue?"

The chilly smile that accompanied his question made the hairs on Gordon’s back stand on its end in fright.

Seeing how arrogant and confident he was being confused the security guards.

To act like this to the mayor’s secretary was sothing not just anyone could do. This person was either from a family that could suppress the mayor if they wanted or he was just foolish.

But they highly doubted he was being foolish.

This entire part of the city was filled with wealthy people who wanted to escape the busy city life.

It was filled to the very brim that a multi-billionaire could be living opposite a struggling farr.

If they miscalculated and attacked this person and he ended up being a bigshot, they would be in big trouble.

As if to further solidify their confusion, Daniel looked everything, but ordinary. The way he carried himself, his clothes and the way he spoke.

Everything about him was sophisticated and scread luxury.

In their mont of confusion, soone inford the police station across the amusent park of what was going on.

The sa officer who found Kelsie and the n who tried to rob her was the one who ca with three of his juniors.

The mont he saw the triplets, he looked around for their mother and sure enough found her.

Without thinking twice, he hurried towards her and asked worriedly, "Miss, are you okay?"

The place imdiately fell silent and everyone stared at him in disbelief.

Gordon Syklar’s wife who was only now catching her breath glared at him angrily.

Now that officers were here, she didn’t dare to hold back anymore.

She got up from the floor and rushed to hold the man’s hand then burst into tears.

She recounted everything that had happened, twisting what did happen and what didn’t to match her situation and keep her as the victim.

She even ntioned the fact she was the mayor’s secretary’s wife and pointed at her husband on the floor.

When he glanced at Gordon, Daniel shrugged, "Officer, after today, let’s file a petition for the mayor’s secretary to be changed."

"He hired such a secretary. How can we entrust our beloved city to soone who hired such a lousy secretary?"

The woman turned around and placed a hand on her waist akimbo.

Then she pointed a finger at Kelsie and Daniel as she harrumphed, "You both are in big trouble! You physically and emotionally assaulted my family and are still doing it, you talk down on the mayor like though he was soone beneath you. Do you think the city will take it lightly wiht you after today?"

"Officer, you caught them in the act, so hurry up and arrest them before they try to escape!"

The officer humd in agreent and turned around. However, instead of taking out his handcuffs, he took out a notebook and walked to the triplets.

"Little girl, tell in detail what happened."

Gordon Syklar’s wife was taken aback, but only for a mont as she scread at him the very next second.

"W-why? I just told you what happened. Do you not believe ? What will I gain from lying?"

The man didn’t turn to look at her and just spat out impatiently, "I’d ask that you refrain from interrupting the child, ma’am."

She shook her head in refusal and began heading towards them. "No, listen to ! Those children are at fault! I’m telling you!"

However, two of the officers held her back and stopped her from getting close to them.

Keira ignored her screams as she recounted everything that happened.

After hearing her, the officer straightened up and walked up to Gordon’s son.

Suddenly having the eyes of countless people on him and an officer walking towards him scared him straight and he didn’t know when he dropped to his knees and sobbed out in fear.

"I pushed her! I just wanted to get on the swing, but she refused to get off, so I pushed her down!"
