Just as he was about to fall asleep, the local trap he had set tripped with a sharp snap, alerting him.

His eyes imdiately shot open to

Several Red dots staring back at him from the cave entrance.

His heart skipped a beat.

"Fuck …" he muttered under his breath.

He jumped up imdiately, standing straight, the sleep in his eyes gone.

A chill crawled up his spine as his eyes adjusted to the cave entrance.

From the cave entrance to as far back as his eyes could see, it was full of boars.

Plenty of them.

The sa type that had been chasing him earlier but now, the numbers had multiplied, easily four tis more than before.

Tarkan couldn't even begin to wrap his head around how they'd found him.

But that didn't matter now. What mattered was his survival.

The cave only having one entrance was now completely sealed off by boars, all of them staring at him with burning hatred.

They stayed at the mouth of the cave, watching him carefully.

Tarkan quickly looked around

His mind calculating any possible escape routes and scenarios.

But every plan ended with the sa outco.

Being killed and devoured.

Seeing no other way out, Tarkan hardened his resolve.

"The hard way it is then," he muttered.

He bent down and picked up the boar horn he'd been using as a weapon.

As if drawing a final line in the sand, he gripped it tightly.

That single act changed everything.

The boars began screaming with rage, recognizing the horn from one of their fallen comrades.

The cave was narrow and could fit twelve boars at most.

And now, twelve charged toward him.

The first boar had its head lowered, aiming to ram into him with full force.

Tarkan gritted his teeth, raised the horn, and braced himself.

He held the horn straight out in front of him just as the boar ca crashing in at full speed.

Unlike what happened with the previous boar he'd fought with a wood, the horn pierced through its thick skin cleanly blood spurted out like a fountain.

But the boar didn't stop as he'd imagined.

Its weight and montum slamd into Tarkan, hurling him across the cave like a ragdoll.

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking echoed throughout the cave.

He hadn't even landed yet when three more boars ramd into him mid-air, their horns stabbing into his stomach and other parts of his body.

But before the pain could even register_

"Reverse Three seconds."

Just like pressing rewind on a remote, everything began to move backward.

bringing him back to when the first boar charged at him and he held the horn.

But this ti.

As the boar lunged toward him and the horn penetrated its head, Tarkan twisted his body, stepping aside from its montum. He held tight to the horn, pulling it free as the beast stumbled forward and slamd into the cave wall.

With no signs of rising or movent.

He didn't care to celebrate or turn to look if it was still alive or dead.

Because a cool flow surged through his body a strange energy washing over him. His strength rose instantly.

a similar feeling he had from when he killed the first boar.

aning the boar had died.

And right on cue three boars ca charging toward him, using the sa signature move
