A teor streaked across the sky, its beauty elusive and mysterious for a fleeting mont before vanishing without a trace.

A massive and luxurious cruise ship floated on the ink-dark ocean, its brilliance akin to a dazzling pearl.

In one of the luxurious rooms on the ship, Gu Jiayin struggled in a nightmare for a long ti before suddenly opening her eyes.

All she saw was darkness.

Pain was the most genuine feeling at the mont, as if her whole body was being torn apart.

Staring into the dark void, the absurd and completely out-of-control nightmare from two hours ago flooded back into her mind.

She had been slept with by a stranger.

Upon reflection, the issue lay in the glass of clear water the waiter handed her.

Suddenly clenching her fists, whoever dared to set her up had better be prepared for a brutal revenge!

The sound of the man's breathing beside her reached her ears; Gu Jiayin imdiately harbored murderous intent. This man had raped her and dared to sleep in her bed—if she didn't make him pay, wouldn't she seem too easy?

So she abruptly sat up, turned on the bedside lamp with a "snap," and the next second grabbed the fruit knife from the table.

With her skills, killing soone was as easy as picking leaves or flowers.

But at the mont the knife was about to rise, she suddenly froze.

This man was not a stranger.

Her first thought was that he would never have set her up because soone as proud as him would never stoop to plotting against a woman.

Lifting her gaze, she realized this room wasn't hers; she had accidentally stumbled into his room.

At that ti, he was drunkenly asleep in bed, and due to the effect of the drug, she had no strength. Upon entering the room, she collapsed onto the bed, coincidentally falling into his embrace...

The man had a tall, robust build, facial lines sharp like a sculpture, features handso as an ink painting. Even with his eyes closed, he exuded an aura of determination, aloofness, and untad wildness.

He was Sheng Qianchi, the sole heir to the Sheng Family, the most powerful financial dynasty in Licheng City.

Rumor had it that he was cold-blooded, bloodthirsty, and decisive in killing. Those daring to provoke him could only belong to two kinds—the deceased or the unborn.

But to Gu Jiayin, those were never just rumors—she had witnessed this seven years ago. On this trip back to Licheng City, she had important tasks and couldn't provoke this fearso deity.

In just a mont of hesitation, she quickly turned off the lamp, grabbed any random piece of clothing, and jumped off the bed to make her escape.

Earlier, under the drug's influence, she couldn't distinguish direction and stumbled into his room. In the darkness, he hadn't seen her face, which was best for never having any entanglents.

But just as her feet hit the ground, her wrist was suddenly grabbed, and she was forcefully pulled back onto the bed, falling onto the man's robust, naked chest.

A voice cold enough to strip away the last shred of warmth ca oppressively from above, "Woman, you have so nerve to dare plot against . Tell , who sent you?"

The man's arm, strong as steel, held her waist, making Gu Jiayin feel as though her organs were being squeezed under the pressure, almost igniting her insides. But to not infuriate him, she endured and replied, "It's a misunderstanding; I was drunk, and so were you."

"Ha!" ca the man's cold sneer from above, like a chill wind cutting through, "You got drunk and managed to sneak into my room, and climb onto my bed?"

Gu Jiayin quietly grasped the fruit knife she had previously discarded by the bed again, speaking in a calm yet soft voice, "Sir, you raped . I neither asked for your money nor your life; it seems I'm the one at a loss here."

In the dark, Sheng Qianchi's lips curved slightly, a hint of interest flashing in his eyes. Never before had a woman remained so calm when facing him, even more so after sharing such an intimate encounter.

Was this woman naturally bold, or was it ignorance that made her fearless?

Recalling her beneath him earlier, blooming like a flower, her soft scent captivating, the ecstasy of that feeling ca rushing back, like a spring stream bubbling in his mory.

He suddenly wanted to see what she looked like.

Thus, he reached out toward the switch, intending to turn on the room's main light. Yet just as his hand touched the switch, a cold fruit knife swiftly slashed toward him.

Of course, he didn't deduce it was a fruit knife since he couldn't see, but simply judged by its icy texture that it was a lethal weapon.

He quickly withdrew, rolling off onto the floor.

He had assud the woman would strike again as her initial attack was executed with such skill—vicious, swift, steady, precise—clearly soone trained.

His first thought was that she was here to assassinate him.

But in the next second, he was surprised to see her slip out the door, swift as flowing clouds and water.

Evidently, her slash wasn't to take his life but to force him out of the way so she could escape.

In the darkness, Sheng Qianchi stood for a long ti, staring at the now wide-open door, the corners of his lips gradually curling upward, his eyes glinting brightly like a black panther in the night.

A hunter long without prey, suddenly discovering intriguing quarry.

...

Half a minute later, Sheng Qianchi walked over, pressed the switch, and the room brightened, illuminating the disheveled clothes strewn across the floor, attesting to the prior intense bed scene.

He hadn't expected that a woman would suddenly beco sothing tangible when she fell into his arms, and in his drunken state, his usually proud self-control completely collapsed.

She said he had raped her, and it could be said that way.

His gaze slowly moved, spotting a small bloodstain on the bed, like a dried rose, piercing his eyes unannounced.

She was still a virgin.

As she said, he had raped her, and she hadn't demanded money or his life. It seed... it shouldn't have been intentional, but it couldn't be ruled out as a tactical maneuver.

Thinking of her soft, warm body, and the struggle mixed with helpless surrender, he concluded she had been drugged.

However, whether it had been a misunderstanding or intentional previously, he now had only one thought: He must see her appear before him again regardless of heaven or earth.

Because no one had ever left without permission before he spoke.

His gaze shifted back to the floor, noticing all her clothes were scattered there, except for his black shirt.

Thus, he cast a wicked smile.

...

Ten minutes later, Mo Jun, the young and handso assistant to the CEO, rushed into Sheng Qianchi's room, "Young Master Chi, are you alright?"

Mo Jun was trembling with fear, not daring to et Sheng Qianchi's gaze. A woman had entered Young Master Chi's room and cost him his first night; such dereliction could well earn him execution.

At the mont, Sheng Qianchi had just showered, casually wearing a robe, wiped his hair a couple of tis, and tossed the towel aside.

Lighting a cigarette, after elegantly exhaling a smoke ring, he said in a composed tone, "Find her within an hour, and ensure she's not hard."

The pale, blurred, and sprawling smoke clouded the man's handso face, but beneath the haze, his gaze was as sharp as a knife, instilled with unwavering confidence in capturing his prey.
