Hans found himself stranded on a desert island in the middle of a huge lake.
The island was about five ters wide and long, and the shore was so far away that it could barely be seen.
So of the water suddenly flowed on land, rising and forming a creature that had an humanoid body, resembling that of a mature woman, the only difference was that the water below the bust wasn’t shaped, remaining floating without a proper form.

Fifty minutes later…
Hans was standing on a little hill, surrounding it, were the remains of a lake.
Every ti he had killed a nymphling the water of the lake retreated, revealing more and more land, and when he had finally killed the nymph, boss of the gate, the water had almost completely disappeared.
Only a little remained, probably rain water.
Hans crouched to pick up sothing blue and shiny from the ground

Hans returned ho, after easily sweeping through a C-rank gate like if it was a low rank one, and decided to proceed imdiately with the procedure, but his house wasn’t safe, and Aiden would’ve disturbed him when returning ho from school, so he decided to break through in his association office.
’Click’ the door was locked and outside of it was hung a sign, that stopped anyone from entering unless the sky had fallen down.
He then sat on the sofa that stood in the corner of his office, and since it didn’t seem proper to lay down on his office floor, he instead decided to cross his legs like Buddhist monks.
The process began, and the energy flow seed much smoother than usually, apparently, his position greatly affected it.
Even if Hans didn’t know it, a window appeared in front of his head:

Hans continued his circulation, gathering the mana in the environnt towards his body, and the dispersed mana inside his body around the heart, making it spin violently.
Having done this process many tis before, he was confident in succeeding, but no matter how many tis the circle spun, it seed to never find a balance.
It circled around the heart countless tis, and didn’t stop, the hours passed but it still wasn’t stabilized.
Hans was starting to lose both hope and strength, while every single spin, the mana beca faster and faster, if he didn’t manage to quickly find a solution for this, the mana would’ve been shot outside his body, breaking his body.
What was missing? there was sothing different, he needed sothing different, or else..
’Gulp’
’Calm down Hans.. what could it possibly be? What is the difference between this circle and the ones I created in the past? Oh… is it that?’
The only thing that differentiates this circle from the previous ones, is that Hans was a middle class mage while creating it.
While for high rank mages it’s mana affinity, the thing that improves the most while raising to mid rank mage is the mana control.
Hans probably needed to demonstrate to be worthy of the fifth circle, having completely mastered the fourth one.
And so, he decided to prove his mana control, what better way to do it than…
All the mana Hans possessed was currently used to control and direct the wild mana he was trying to ’ta’.
Up until now, he was just keeping it as close as he could to the heart, while spinning, the wild mana would’ve been repelled to the outside.
But what would’ve happened if one of the two mana were to be overwheld by the other? It’s simple, if Hans mana were to lose, than it would’ve ant losing the circle, and injuring his body, since the wild mana would’ve been repelled, but on the other side, if Hans didn’t manage to control his mana, and accidentally won over the wild one, then… he would’ve lost his life.
The mana would’ve clashed with his heart, probably causing it to explode, releasing all the mana trapped in the already created circles, turning Hans into a human bomb.
The concept is similar for other mages, and is more commonly known as self destruction.
If in a hopeless situation, so mages will decide to perform this action on purpose, to try and die together with their opponent.
Slowing down the spinning of the circle requires you to slightly lower the amount of energy you use to keep the mana close to the heart, and use it to oppose the mana’s movent.
Since the decrease in speed won’t be linear, it is incredibly difficult to balance it all out.
Hans started the process, and began using so of his mana to slow down the wild energy.
The mont the energy slowed down even a little, the attraction caused by his mana almost smashed it into his heart, luckily, he managed to quickly release so of that attraction and balance the energy.
He continued like that for countless hours, and the sun outside changed from being high in the sky, to setting, to being below the horizon.
Only then, Hans opened his eyes.
"Huuuu…"
The incredibly long and tiring process had strained his mind because of the excessive mana usage.
After having stopped the mana, Hans had started spinning it in the other direction, and quickly managed to find its balance.
Basically, it was like this:
He initially started spinning his mana, but seeing that it wasn’t working he decided to slowly decelerate its speed, like an acrobatic, balancing his weight left and right, he did the sa with his mana, balancing between attraction and speed.
Afterwards, he started spinning the mana in the opposite direction, managing to form and stabilize his fifth circle.

During the whole walk ho, Hans was continuously pestered by these countless ssages that appeared in front of him.
Like during any normal day, he returned ho where Aiden was waiting for him, and dined before going to bed.
’Tomorrow… I’ll settle things with that shadow’
